From the "Bias? What bias?" department - Online headline/story: "White House blasts Trump's request for favor from Putin amid Ukraine war * The White House on Wednesday criticized Donald Trump's request for Russian President Vladimir Putin to release potentially damaging information on President Biden's son, calling the move particularly poorly timed as war rages in Ukraine. * "What kind of American, let alone an ex-president, thinks that this is the right time to enter into a scheme with Vladimir Putin and brag about his connections to Vladimir Putin? There is only one, and it's Donald Trump," White House spokesperson Kate Bedingfield said." -- "What kind of American...thinks that this is the right time to enter into a scheme with Vladimir Putin"? Hmmm What kind, indeed... how about one that's keeping American citizens INFORMED and is not going to let Resident Biden, his White House "handlers:, or MSM sweep crimes against America under the carpet! On the other hand, what kind of PRESIDENT negotiates with a terrorist country to enable them to acquire nuclear weapon skills, what kind of American President privately partners with Socialist despots to enrich themselves, or what kind of American President funds Putin's war by buying oil and uranium from him!

Online headline story: "Videos posted on Twitter Tuesday by an investigative journalist appear to show multiple Disney officials pushing a progressive LGBT agenda on employees as the company finds itself in the middle of a political firestorm surrounding a controversial parental rights bill in Florida." -- Good grief! Disney is.. for lack of a more accurate word.... Forrest Gump defined STUPID! Disney execs are challenging what parents want for their children.... excuse me, DISNEY, but it's those children's parents who decide whether to bring them to vacation at Disney World.... OR NOT!

---
Online headline: "Actor Ron Perlman calls Florida Gov. DeSantis a 'Nazi piece of s---' over parental rights bill, gets blasted" -- Hmmm... Hey... Perlman.. don't you realize that your audience IS THE PARENTS of the children you feel should be indoctrinated by liberal BS? Hey, Perlman... Go to Hellboy!

---
Disney has lost it! After they announced they were going to stop addressing crowds with "Ladies & Gentlemen, Boys and Girls" because it's not "inclusive enough"... but then Disney was asked if it was going to stop using "Prince & Princess". Disney denied having any comment ... What hypocrites! Disney's whole existence and cash revenue revolves around the world of "Princes and Princesses".

Hey Council... I know I've heard at least 3 reports that the multi-million dollar "idiot lights system" installed to "control" traffic flow onto the J R Allen Parkway would be "on", but I've never seen one working... Tell us again why that many MILLIONS of dollars were spent on those "idiot lights" rather than improving roadways... say in Councilor Huff's District?

---
Online headline: "Biden planning to tap oil reserve to control gas prices" -- Good grief! Resident Biden has no clue how economies work! Who thinks taking reserves out, selling them at a discount to distributors who will actually resell it for current high prices and make more profit.. knowing that the oil will HAVE to be replaced at a later date at a higher prices. Who actually thinks this is a good economic decision? The reserves are there so we are prepared for an oil shortage to benefit OUR COUNTRY!

Another reason it is "less than smart" to deplete our oil reserves now on a fruitless endeavor is that here are good chances a bigger war may further escalate out of the Ukraine situation... and America may need the oil reserves to keep our country and military afloat!

---
It's amazing... How Resident JoKKKe Biden has really lived up to the nicknames he's EARNED... Bleep Veep Biden, Quid Pro Joe, JoKKKe Biden, Resident Biden, Messenger Boy Biden, and "the Gaffe Spree".

---
From the "poll truth... nothing but the poll truth" department - Online headline: 'Two-thirds of Americans back Judge Ketanji Brown Jackson for Supreme Court, poll shows" -- You know.. this.. like most MSM polls.. use respondents who are not always the best informed news-wise.. Of course she's not a "good choice" but I'd vote for her because I know she will have to recuse herself from all future case involving race and gender issues that were used to select her for nomination...

---
Online headline: "Susan Collins to vote 'yes' on Ketanji Brown Jackson for Supreme Court, in first Republican backing" -- Like I've said before.. ALL Republicans should vote for Jackson... It'll screw up the whole... and ONLY... mid-term election campaign strategy the Socialist-Democrats have.

---
Online headline: "'I'm feeling great': Biden wastes little time getting 2nd booster shot
The president received his second COVID booster at the White House a day after the FDA approved a fourth shot." -- Of course he got his booster... it was a good way to use up his one-a-day public appearance for a photo-op.. Besides.. who really knows if he has a clue as to the number of Covid-19 shots he's actually had?

I hope you read my comments posted about Resident JoKKKe Biden's budget proposal on Tuesday, but if you didn't, the one thing to really remember is that not $1.00 of the $5.8 TRILLION DOLLAR pork list was offered to secure our Southern Border at this CRITICAL TIME in America's security.

---
Online headline: "Researchers at the Federal Reserve Bank of San Francisco say that massive government spending during the pandemic has caused U.S. inflation to surge more than in other developed economies." -- DOH! It's part of the Socialist-Democrat Party agenda!

---
Online headline/story: "Top DEI (Diversity, Equity and Inclusion) staff at public universities pocket massive salaries as experts question motives of initiatives * Highest-paid diversity and inclusion employees rake in substantially more than the average full-time professor * A review of salary data shows that the universities of Michigan, Maryland, Virginia and Illinois, plus Virginia Tech, boast some of the highest-paid DEI staffers at public universities, a Fox News review found. These institutions' top diversity employees earn salaries ranging from $329,000 to $430,000 – vastly eclipsing the average pay for the schools' full-time tenured professors. * Four of the colleges justified the DEI leaders' salaries, citing the executives' seniority and the importance of their responsibilities. * The University of Illinois did not return a request for comment." -- You know.. maybe this will actually help liberal professors understand the damage they've caused themselves by indoctrinating students to be less concerned about maintaining America as the world leader in commerce and leadership, by realizing they have down-graded their own importance in teaching jobs...

---
Online "headLIE": "NBC's Yamiche Alcindor: WH has 'messaging issue' when poll shows voters blame Biden, not Putin, for inflation" -- WRONG! ... "Messaging issue"? This is a VOTERS' issue... and the issue is Resident Biden's ineptness to run our country!

---
Online headline: "Southern Poverty Law Center employees protest return-to-work policy, claiming racial disparity" -- "Racial disparity"? The only disparity is the number of minority stands the SPLC takes vs the Constitutional Rights guaranteed every American citizen.

---
Online headline: "Sens. Grassley, Johnson allege $100,000 payment from Chinese oligarchs to Hunter Biden, provide receipt" -- Hmmm... bet the Chinese oligarchs got the "family discount" on some of Hunter's paintings.

---
From the "film at 11:00" department -

-----------------------------
Online headline: "CNN’s John Harwood roasted for claiming there is ‘zero evidence’ tying Biden to his son’s wrongdoings * 'Not even Jen Psaki is as devoted to the Party and Biden,' Glenn Greenwald said of the CNN reporter" -- Hmmm... now it's not a matter of acknowledging that computer is Hunter Biden's, but in TRYING to IGNORE it is Hunter Biden's...

---
From the "and who could blame him" department - Online headline/story: "CNN’s original host on ‘major difference’ 42 years later: ‘I used to anchor at CNN, now I just yell at CNN’ * Former anchor Dave Walker expressed hope the network would revert back to 'basic news coverage * During an appearance on the first broadcast of "Reliable Sources Daily" on the first day of CNN+, CNN's new streaming service, original anchor Dave Walker, appearing alongside his wife and former co-anchor Lois Hart, recounted the network's original broadcast. " -- Hmmm... betcha AT&T is listening... let's just pray AT&T does something about it!

---
Online headline: "Woke columnists claim Will Smith Oscars slap exemplifies 'anti-Black' system * 'This is about a much larger systemic issue rooted in white supremacist culture'" -- Good grief! We knew Democrats feel Blacks that didn't vote for Republicans "ain't Black enough", but Chris Rock ain't no Republican..

---
This may be the best political cartoon of 2022.. but will hold of claiming it so because there'll be even more moments to record:

--------------------------------
Online headline: "Would You Pay $7 Per Gallon To Stop Putin?" -- No! And there's no need too if JoKKKe Biden simply rescinds his Day 1 Executive Orders and his new regulations!

---
From the "bias? What bias?" department - Online headline/story: "Proposal would stop gas-powered leaf blower bans by Georgia cities, counties * The noise: “It’s so loud you can hear it from blocks away,” said Buckhead resident Peter Bahouth. * The pollution: “I realized how dirty they were,” said Bahouth. * And the destruction of wildlife: “We’re losing things like the Luna moths,” said Bahouth. * “Leaves aren’t litter, and we shouldn’t treat them as if they’re criminals that have to be hunted down and removed as soon as they hit the ground,” said Bahouth. * He is retired and likes to enjoy nature from a treehouse he built in his yard. But noise from leaf blowers is constantly interrupting his peace and quiet." -- Before you getcha panties in a wad.. let's talk about Peter Bahouth...He's one person with a lotta complaints... Yep.. but Peter Bahouth is the Executive Director at US Climate Action Network.. and if he wants peace and quiet, then he needs to spray some oil on his own "squeaky wheels"

---
Online headline/story: "A proposed state Senate bill would ‘crush’ the film and TV industry in Georgia * The changes would cap the credits at $900 million a year and make them non-transferable to other parties. * “It would crush the industry in Georgia as we know it,” said Ray Brown, president of the local International Alliance of Theatrical and Stage Employees and Motion Picture Technicians, Artists and Allied Crafts (IATSE)." -- Good grief! WHO (outside the GA Legislature, Gov. Shemp's Office, and the Movie Moguls) KNEW the movie industry got nearly a billion dollar tax break per company and that one company could transfer (read "sell or trade off")the "breaks" to another company.. This is not a "loophole". it's a "sinkhole"! Shut it down... the movie industry is going nowhere else.. financially, the movie industry likes GA a lot better than california.

NBC online headline/story: " Satellite images show apparent devastation, hunger in Mariupol * a picture showed what was left of a theater that was bombed earlier this month. Local officials have said that 1,000 people were sheltering inside the Drama Theater when Russian forces struck the building on March 16, killing at least 300 people. * NBC News HAS NOT BEEN ABLE TO INDEPENDENTLY VERIFY THE CLAIM, and Russia has denied targeting civilians. * Ukrainian officials have said for days that the tens of thousands of residents who stayed behind in the strategically important city have seen food and water supplies dwindle amid relentless Russian bombardment. * The officials have accused Russian forces of blocking supplies and shelling and capturing those trying to flee. NBC News has also NOT BEEN ABLE TO INDEPENDENTLY VERIFY THE CLAIM!" -- "NOT BEEN ABLE TO INDEPENDENTLY VERIFY THE CLAIM"? Good grief! NBC never had trouble blasting candidate.. then President .. Trump over the "Steele Dossier even though NBC has BEEN ABLE TO INDEPENDENTLY VERIFY THE CLAIM, and NBC had no trouble NOT running the Hunter Biden notebook computer stories even though NBC COULD HAVE INDEPENDENTLY VERIFIED THE CLAIM! Shame on NBC for NOT CARING ENOUGH to seek the truth!

---
Online headline: "Clarence Thomas faces growing pressure to step aside from Jan. 6 cases" -- Hmmm.. maybe Justice Thomas should do this.. There are still five other Justices that will consider the validity of our Constitution rather than their personal agenda... and... AND it would be a GOOD PRECEDENCE for expecting soon-to-be Justice Jackson to recuse herself every time a race or gender bias case gets to the US Supreme Court!

---
From the "probably the best line of the season" department - Online headline/story: "Iconic Oscars host Billy Crystal jokes about Will Smith-Chris Rock slap during Broadway show * That includes one of the most beloved emcees of all time, Billy Crystal, "We got through a show and no one got slapped,” cracked Crystal to laughs and cheers in a video posted on the show’s Twitter" -- And Billy Crystal hosted the Oscars 9 different years from 1990 to 2012. You know, I actually watched f=some of those OSCAR events back then... when they were more celebratory of of good movies/acting rather than events for messaging actors personal politically correct agendas..

---
Online "headLIE": "Jim Carrey: I would've sued Will Smith for $200M" -- Hmmm.. guess Carrey's exploring a possible sequel to "Liar, Liar"

---
What different weekends former President Trump and current White House Resident Biden had... Trump had a "Hole-in-One" playing golf, and JoKKKe Biden had a whole lot of holes punched out of his Messenger Boy gaffes..

---
Online "headLIE": "Romney: NATO would rethink U.S. relationship if Trump wins in 2024" -- Good grief! Willard "RATT" Romney has as much credibility in world politics as Hunter Biden has in getting one of his paintings to replace the Mona Lisa in the Louvre in Paris..

---
I'm beginning to feel that Mark 6uckerberg may own America Online as well as Facebook.. I've been banned from Facebook (their loss more than mine) because our opinions differed.. but when I post on news items on America Online, and try to associate Queen Pelosi with my nickname "Queen PeLOUSY". my messages get censored, yet when I refer to Prince Romney as Willard "RATT" Romney, AOL posts them immediately...

---
Online headline: "California police recover stash of stolen luxury cars worth $2.3 million * Bentley and Aston Martin models are part of the lot" -- Hmmm.. and since this was in california, at $7.00+ per gallon, the gasoline value in the stolen cars was probably worth more than the cars themselves.

---
From the "rose-colored lenses" department - Online YAHOO headline: "Online headline: "Gas prices: 'We could see $5 a gallon' as Russia-Ukraine war drags on, strategist says * INES FERRÉ" -- Good grief! Only a YAHOO reporter wearing rose-colored lenses with BLINDERS and riding a bicycle could suggest that gas prices ..even in GA have topped $5.00 a gallon on Premium...and it's caused inflation by Messenger Boy Biden by his Executive Orders and increased regulations..

---
Now, we learn, that recently released into our country illegal aliens at our Southern Border are being Covid-19 vaccinated... Why now? My guess is Johnson&Johnson (the only single shot vaccine protocol offering) has a huge inventory they need to unload, and have reached a deal with the DNC to make donations towards liberal Congressional candidates for November's re-election.

---
Online headline: "Despite rising crime, Dems had little incentive to shift from 'White racism' narrative until now:" -- Seriously... if BLM wants universal support, the BLM needs to drop it's Socialist agenda, and adopt a "STOP BLACK CRIMINALS IN THEIR TRACKS" movement.

---
Online headline: "The Academy 'unlikely' to 'weaponize' Will Smith slapping Chris Rock and strip him of Oscar, expert believes" -- Of course not... It's "celebrity privilege"!... A-listers beat B-listers every time.

---
Good grief! Resident JoKKKe Biden is nothing but the "White House handlers" Messenger Boy! The "WH handlers" have learned that if JoKKKe Biden gets off his leash be and can't see the Teleprompters, he needs a crib sheet to know what he's suppose to say.

---
Online headline: "Biden says he didn't watch Ketanji Brown Jackson's confirmation hearing after White House claimed he did" -- This just proves even MSM cannot... should not... trust what any Socialist-Democrat says is the truth.

---
Just got a new map of our area's House Districts, and it looks like not only some changes in borders have taken place, but changes in the numbering has as well.. Calvin Smyre's old District number 135 is now mainly in new District Number 140..also note that not only Teddy Reese.. a well-known local political challenger in various races will be challenged ..in the Democrat Primary... by Zeph Baker.. That name ought to ring an obnoxious bell with you.. he's years behind in furnishing disclosures . Another thing of interest is that in 2020, the house he owned in Coweta County with his wife was sold.. and he and his wife had a Homestead Exemption on that property which made it Baker's Primary Residence even when he ran here in 2018...Baker's run for Mayor in Columbus should have been shut down based on his lack of eligibility!

Sales: 10/29/2020 5166 477 84 267 $580,000 QUALIFIED IMPROVED COSBY SHARON & ZEPHANIAH BAKER

Interesting is that when looking up Zeph Baker's address and Declaration of Intentions, I cannot find where he is living .. he hasn't filed.. at least the state hasn't posted any... any disclosures for this race either... To be fair, I couldn't find such disclosure from Teddy Reese, either... but we KNOW Reese lives in Columbus...

Learned yesterday that between Europe, India, and China, Putin's oil sales haven't suffered with Biden finally sanctioning US purchases from Russia.. Also learned Biden has not sanctioned/cut off our buying URANIUM from Putin... Putin is financing his war on Ukraine with oil and uranium sales and the world is funding him.. the US, too!

---
Seriously, how much money does the government spend on ads for vaccines.com... and...why isn't this election tampering... Good Grief...think about how influencing a media company with an overabundance of ads will make them bend over backwards not to upset the party currently in office.

In the "House Notes" distributed by Councilor John House (Standing "O") we learn that:

"Council then heard a first reading for an ordinance amending Chapter 13 of
the Columbus Code to revise Section 13-109 to prohibit maintaining a
swimming pool in a manner that causes a health hazard or noxious odors.
This was continued on first reading from February 22 so that Councilor
Barnes could be present. Councilor Barnes pointed out the unpleasant
effects of pool owners not maintaining their pools. " -- I hope this applies to the out-of-commission CITY POOLS sitting dysfunctionally around town!

WTVM-TV9 online headline/story: "Columbus woman arrested for stealing $240k from nonprofits receives sentencing * sentenced 59-year-old Trenna Trice to two years in prison. The court also ordered her to pay $162,000 in restitution." --  What? She embezzled $240,000.00 from non-profits serving needs of the community and is given a 2 year sentence, and allowed NOT TO REPAY $78,000.00 in funds originally given to help our community. I guess "Needy Lives Don't Matter"!

WTVM-TV9 headline/story: "Columbus gang member with nearly 50 warrants appears in court * Eighteen-year-old Demetrius Jackson is one of two reported gang members recently arrested on nearly 50 warrants. * The teen is facing multiple charges, including 19 aggravated assault charges. * Previously, investigators testified that in 2020 he shot into a house with four people inside. He later admitted to pulling the trigger on social media." -- Hmmm.. 19 AGGRAVATED ASSAULT CHARGES alone! Tha one more than his age! Wonder how many character witness will show up telling us what a good person he is?

Tuesday, March 29, 2022

I found it both amazing and.. disconcerting .... about the "news" reports concerning Donald Trump's Rally in Georgia this past Saturday night... Sunday and early Monday reports mostly said "a few thousand " attended it... but the midday Monday, I head a GNN report that said upwards of 20,000 attended... you know... it's like most MSM media sources want to create negative news (FAKE NEWS) dissing Trump than report it factually.

---
Online headline: "Georgia legislature passes bill to boost gang prosecutions: -- Wait a minute! Is our legislature trying to tell us that the existing laws prohibited "gang prosecutions"? The only thing the GA Legislature needs to add is a committee to investigate any DA offices not prosecuting criminals to the best of their ability!

---
Online headline/story: "Federal Judge Finds Trump Likely Committed Crimes Over 2020 Election * A federal judge ruled on Monday that former President Donald Trump and a lawyer who advised him on how to overturn the 2020 election most likely committed felonies, including obstructing the work of Congress and conspiring to defraud the United States. * The judge’s comments marked a significant breakthrough for the House committee investigating the Jan. 6 attack on the Capitol, which had laid out in a civil filing the crimes it believed Trump might have committed as it weighs making a criminal referral to the Justice Department. * “The illegality of the plan was obvious,” wrote Judge David O. Carter of the Central District of California. " -- Wait a minute... how does a case in Washington, DC get in the hands of a Fed Judge in cALIFORNIA! In fact, there's no mention that there has been any presentation of evidence in the Fed cALIFORNIA District, just these comments by a Bill Clinton appointed judge...

---
Hey, Columbus, GA... Can't you hear our current Mayor's campaign rhetoric when Kadie is heading to the banks of the Chattahoochee... "Our e-cow-nomy is on the mooooove!"

---
Yesterday, I mention how out-of-touch WTVM-TV9 was when it used 2020 murder numbers which were much less than the real... and available... 2021 numbers which show a 50+% INCREASE in homicides alone!. Further thinking about it, I've decoded that it may cause Columbus voters to be more informed as to how out-of-touch the current Council and Mayor have been at containing the escalation of violent crime in the past year.

---
Looks like we're going to get a surge of illegal aliens invading our Southern Border this week as the Title 42 deportation regulation gets trashed by expiration! We can expect more new invaders than Poland will get!

---
Wow! Did you see the latest poll of women in the US... Now only 44% of US women APPROVE of Resident Biden.... Guess America's women have realized that while they were offend by Trump's "tweets" they are more offend by what JoKKKe Biden is doing to their families, finances, and future!

---
Here it is the tail end of March... The new VA's Healthcare Clinic here in Columbus, GA was suppose to open in February... but it hasn't done so yet... and have you received your Home Covid-19 TEST? We haven't and we were told they'd be shipped in late January... Why do we elect politicians who promise us good government controlled healthcare?

---
Hey, Columbus, GA Council... My trash was picked up Monday, but I still don't have the new cans..so what do I put my trash in if I'm suppose to put my old empty cans out on the street on Saturday?

Update.. when I went to the street to take my trash out Monday, I found this flyer in my "newspaper/circular" drop box...

As you can see, it's the conformation about our old garbage can disposal..... but a few hours after I found this, our Homeowners' Association notified our neighborhood that the info was "moot" and that our old cans won't be picked up until June 4th. Hmmmmm, I thought... Our City Administration just delivered a flyer to possibly every home in Columbus with bogus information.. How many tax dollars did they spend on printing these flyers, and hen paying people to drive to every household mail box and put them in the "newspaper/circular" drop box?

---
Online headline: "CNN analyst blames Trump for aftermath of Will Smith-Chris Rock Oscars incident" -- Wow! Have things have gotten so bad for MSM journalists using Trump to diffuse any Biden gaffes that MSM now uses Trump to diffuse an arrogant Hollywood A-Lister meltdown...

---
Online headline: "More than a dozen former Trump officials expected to participate in 'America First' summit next month" -- Well... It was either this, or give up, as there are no Democrats that are worthy of saving America for the next generation of Americans...

---
Online headline: "NYPD seek suspect who assaulted 73-year-old man in attempted robbery" -- If BLM wants universal support, the BLM needs to drop it's Socialist agenda, and adopt a "STOP BLACK CRIMINALS IN THEIR TRACKS" movement.

---
Online headline: "President Biden on Monday unveiled a new minimum tax targeting billionaires as part of his 2023 budget request, proposing a 20% rate that would hit both the income and unrealized capital gains of the wealthiest Americans" -- Hmmmm... A Capital gain on unrealized gain... I guess that means that when stocks take a "hit", then those wealthy can take a "loss" without selling as well. Sounds to me, the real wealthy can use this little ploy to make stocks dip drastically on December 31st and get a loss to take on their next tax filings.

From the "skip to MY COMMENT AT THE END once you read the headline" department Online "headLIE"/story: "Biden's $5.8T budget proposes one of the 'largest' investments in US national security amid war in Ukraine * 'We value fiscal responsibility, safety and security at home and around the world,' Biden said * The president’s budget proposal includes $6.9 billion for the European Deterrence Initiative, NATO, and countering Russian aggression to support Ukraine and other partnerships with NATO allies. * The budget also includes $1.8 billion for the State Department and USAID, and $400 million for the "Countering the People’s Republic of China Malign Influence Fund." * The budget offers $1 billion in assistance to Ukraine for the State Department, USAID and the Department of Defense to counter "Russian malign influence" and to meet emerging needs related to "security, energy, cyber security issues, disinformation, macroeconomic stabilization and civil society resilience." * The Biden administration, this month, has sent nearly $1 billion in military and humanitarian aid to Ukraine amid Russia’s war on the country. * The budget also provides $1.4 billion for the World Bank’s International Development Association, which the White House said "restores the United States’ historical role as the largest World Bank donor to support the development of low-and middle-income countries." * Biden’s budget proposal includes more than $33 billion in law enforcement spending. * The budget also includes $1.7 billion for the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF) to expand on multi jurisdictional gun trafficking strike forces by adding personnel and increasing regulation on the firearms industry. * The budget invests $367 million – an increase of $101 million over the 2021 level – at the Justice Department to "support police reform, the prosecution of hate crimes, enforcement of voting rights, and efforts to provide equitable access to justice." ^ It also includes $100 million for a "historic multi-agency collaboration to provide comprehensive workforce development services" to people in the federal prison system, and $106 million to support the deployment of body-worn cameras to DOJ’s law enforcement officers * To address the critical shortage of affordable housing in communities throughout the nation, the budget proposes $50 billions for housing construction and supply * As for the supply chain, the budget includes $230 million for the Port Infrastructure Development Program to "strengthen maritime freight capacity," and $1.7 billion in spending for the Harbor Maintenance Trust Fund to facilitate "safe, reliable and environmentally sustainable navigation at coastal ports." * The budget also provides $372 million – an increase of $206 million from 2021 – for the National Institute of Standards and Technology’s manufacturing programs to "strengthen domestic supply chains." * It also includes $125 million to help make America’s "small and medium manufacturers more competitive," and $200 million for a new solar manufacturing to build "domestic capacity in solar energy supply chains while moving away from imported products." * It also proposes $100 million to help community colleges work with the public workforce development system, and $100 million for new career training for an occupational readiness program that can support training for growing industries. * The budget also allots $88 million for the Antitrust Division of the Department of Justice, and $139 million for the Federal Trade Commission. * As for social issues, the budget provides $2.6 billion to "advance gender equity and equality across a broad range of sectors," which includes $200 million for the Gender Equity and Equality Action Fund to "advance the economic security of women and girls." * For health, the budget includes $10.6 billion to bolster U.S. leadership in addressing global health and health security challenges * As for COVID-19, the budget also includes $9.9 billion to "build capacity at CDC and state and local levels to improve the core immunization program," * Meanwhile, the budget also includes $470 million to reduce maternal mortality and morbidity rates in the U.S. (Read abortion money) * Shifting to climate, the budget proposes $3.3 billion to support "clean energy." The investments include $502 million to "weatherize and retrofit low-income homes," $260 million to support "energy efficiency improvements," $150 million to "electrify Tribal homes," and $80 million for a new "Grid Deployment Office" to "build the grid of the future." * The budget also proposes $18 billion for "climate resilience and adaptation programs across the federal government." * It includes more than $11 billion in international climate finance, which the White House says will "accelerate the global energy transition to net zero emissions by 205 * The budget also includes $1.8 billion in the Forest Service and Department of Interior to strengthen the federal firefighting workforce and improve firefighter compensation * As for education, the budget provides funding for K-12 schools, as well as $1 billion to help schools increase the number of school counselors, psychologists, social workers and other health professionals. * As for elections, the budget proposes $10 billion in elections assistance funding to be allocated over 10 years. The budget also proposes to fund an "expansion of U.S. Postal Service delivery capacity in underserved areas and support for vote-by-mail, including making ballots postage-free and reducing the cost of other election-related mail for jurisdictions and voters." -- First... there not one dollar proposed to build "the Wall" on our Southern Border... and not one dollar allocated to stop drugs or illegal aliens from coming unfettered across our border.. The budget does proposes $773 billion for the Department of Defense, but with the inflation rate Biden has created, this is not even a raise from last years budget.. Now, if you want to get the "specifics", go back and read the content above (but take an antacid pill first).. but the total pork projects "listed" total is $210.795 BILLION. and the listed ones are just the stuff the budget mentions to Climate Change and other liberal groupies to keep them "quiet" about the real damage this budget does to our economy and future...

WTVM-TV9 headline: "82 arrested, drugs, guns seized in weekend crackdown on Columbus crime" -- Hmmm....maybe we should have Council/Mayoral elections ANNUALLY... Seems like having contested races gets more action!

WTVM-TV9 headline/story: "Columbus, east Ala. men arrested after chaotic weekend in Panama City Beach * Michael D. McCarter, 19 - Carrying a concealed weapon - unlicensed firearm, drug possession * Jaheim Ali Harper, 20 - Carrying a concealed weapon - unlicensed firearm, drug possession * Brandon Lamar Hardy, 18 - Carrying a concealed weapon - unlicensed electric weapon, drug possession * Sylvester Juanya Cunningham, 20 - Carrying a concealed weapon - unlicensed firearm * Jadarrius Daquon Richardson, 22 - Carrying a concealed weapon - unlicensed firearm * Adrian Hernandez Jackson, 22 - Carrying a concealed weapon - unlicensed firearm * Lorenzo Dion Hart, 34 - Carrying a concealed weapon - unlicensed firearm" -- Good grief! When I went to the beach during Spring Break at that age, "packing" meant a couple of bathing suits, shorts, a few T-shirts, Coppertone Suntan lotion, cash, and my Weejun sandals.

Almost "instant replay" comment - WRBL-TV3 headline: "161 people detained, 75 guns seized over rowdy spring break weekend in Panama City Beach" -- Good grief! When I went to the beach during Spring Break at that age, "packing" meant a couple of bathing suits, shorts, a few T-shirts, Coppertone Suntan lotion, cash, and my Weejun sandals.

Online local story: " The Hospital Authority of Columbus and SafeHouse Ministries are partnering to decrease homelessness in Columbus. The organizations are working together to open a new men’s shelter called “Freedom House.” -- First, congrats for an effective organization stepping forward.. and then ...Hmmmm... and then I guess ex-Mayor TT Tom-LYING-son's "End Homelessness in Ten Years" program has been officially declared a failure and put to rest.

WTVM-TV9 Editorial well worth reading! Headline/content: "WTVM Editorial 03/28/22: College is not for everyone * COLUMBUS, Ga. (WTVM) - One of the legacies of COVID is the damage done to students who had to stay home far too long, learning remotely instead of being in the classroom. * Now, in another disruption related to COVID, the University System of Georgia is waiving standardized tests for some students. * The state says students with greater than a 3.0 grade point average won’t have to take tests like the Scholastic Aptitude Test, better known as the SAT. * Of Georgia’s 26 universities, 23 will waive the test requirement. The exceptions are the three schools in highest demand: UGA, Georgia Tech and Georgia College and State University. * Not having to take the SATs could well boost enrollment at less popular schools. For some students, criteria other than test scores could be a better measure of their abilities to thrive in the college setting. Getting that opportunity could be a gift for many students who might perform poorly on tests but otherwise ace their classes. * Still, college is an expensive credential to obtain. * Many students will find themselves with debt when they graduate. That’s why more so now than ever, college may not be for everyone. * Technical schools can be a smart option for many. * And many industries and employers will even train new workers on the job, giving them real world, hands-on skills that will lead to financially profitable careers in fields like IT; plumbing and heating; sales; the military; and electrical work to name a few. * Above all, most employers want job candidates who can write effectively, read at a high level, and exhibit critical thinking skills. College may not always stress student achievement of those success factors as much as we might hope. * So let’s concentrate on teaching those valuable skills that directly translate into workplace success. * That way, no matter what college, career or trade a student chooses, they are equipped to meet the high demand for smart, capable workers - now and in the future." -- Spot on, Holly Steuart! The only thing not touched on  is that students who apply to our Universities/Colleges without talking the College Preparedness Exams SHOULD NOT BE ELIGIBLE FOR TAKING OUT STUDENT LOANS! Being able to do so will just encourage unaccredited and online "colleges to magnify their efforts to sign up unprepared students for loan pre-paid 2 and 4 year programs they won't ever complete...

Hmmm...Resident Biden called Putin a "butcher". The White House "handlers" quickly overrode him. Now.. what is worse.. a "butcher"... or an armed-to-the-teeth bystander who stands around talking to cameras about how bad Putin is, but doesn't do anything about it?

---
3 Online headlines: "White House walks back multiple Biden remarks during Europe trip on Putin, chemical weapons, troops" and "White House insists US troops not going to Ukraine after Biden comments in Poland" * Biden says Putin 'cannot remain in power,' White House clarifies" -- Hmmm... Resident Biden went "off script":and ranted tough words about Putin and US Troops while in Poland. The words had hardly been uttered when we got word that the White House had "walked back" that statement... If that doesn't tell the world that JoKKKe Biden is anything but "the front" for a "shell company of undisclosed puppet masters" pulling Messenger Boy Biden's strings, what else does the world need?

---
Online headline: "Sen. Booker on resolution of Russia-Ukraine conflict: 'I don't see how this ends well' for Putin" -- Seriously? I remember when Booker "felt" a Biden win in 2020 would "end well" for Democrats...

NYTimes headLIE: "The New York Times: Chris Wallace Says Life at Fox News Became ‘Unsustainable’." -- WRONG! "Life" at Fox News has not only BEEN SUSTAINABLE... it has grown even bigger! What Chris Wallace should have said is "his LIES at Fox News Became ‘Unsustainable’.

I applaud when local media tackles pertinent issues affecting Columbus, GA's current and future interests/needs, but using old information/facts/numbers is not helpful... Friday, WTVM posted an editorial comment about how Mayoral candidates are approaching our crime issue. She used the 2020 figure of 42 (though we actually had 46 homicides) to come up with a 21-per-100,000 people in Columbus. We have 2021 figures that show a 50+ percent homicide increase over 2020. In 2021, Columbus had 71 homicides (alternate number (pushed by CPD & the Mayor) of 63 newly re-classified as murders", and we have 200,000 +/- people.. That's 35.5 homicides (alternate number 31.5 for newly re-classified "murders") per 100,000 people.. and Columbus, GA is number 21 (between Portsmouth, VA and Philadelphia, PA)in the Top.. uh... WORSE Homicide Cities in the America!

The Biden Economic Plan:

Online headline: "Sean Penn threatens to destroy Oscars if Zelenskyy not invited to Academy Awards" -- Good grief! Even if Zelenskyy would make a personal appearance at "the Oscars", I wouldn't watch... on the other hand, I might "pay for view" the Oscars if someone tied Sean Penn to an Oscar and set him on fire using Venezuelan oil as an accelerant...

---
WTVM-TV9 headline: "City of Columbus, Ft. Benning holds Metal of Honor plaque unveiling for military heroes" -- "Metal of Honor"? Aside from that... How blessed Columbus has been to being influenced by such self-sacrificing heroes! Let's pray Council protects them from the upcoming demolition of the Government Center!

---
WTVM-TV9 headline/story: "Davis Broadcasting gives free gas to residents in Columbus * Davis Broadcasting gave free gas to the first 200 cars to show up at the Sunoco Gas Station in Columbus. * Foxie 105 and Praise 100.7 radio stations announced the location one hour before the free gas giveaway. * Hundreds of vehicles lined St. Mary’s Road in hopes of receiving free fuel for their tanks." -- Nice gesture... now, will there be a nice gesture made for folks living in North Columbus? Oh! Wonder if Davis Broadcasting knew there was a Sunoco Gas Station just 3 blocks West of it's Office location on Wynnton Road that would have been easily accessible for all of Columbus?

---
WRBL-TV3 headline: "City Council District 9 at large candidates share platform" -- Looks like Columbus, GA has several "more than qualified" and "wanna do something" candidates running for the District 9 At-Large seat.. One of them even has both City accounting management experience AS WELL AS years spent in local economic development at the state and local level. .. let's listen to Doug Redmond!

---
After getting excited about the advancement to the NCAA's Elite 8 for Saint Peter's, I decided to watch the Houston-Villa Nova game.. One of the Houston players had his hair in dreads .. which is not a problem...but he also had red beads on the tips of each strand.. He should not have been allowed to play! Any time he shook/twisted his head, those beads swung out like miniature weapons. As close a game basketball is "in the paint", someone could really get their face/eyes seriously damaged. Villa Nova winning avoids further possibility of other players.

---
Guess Columbus' Mayor feels the heat of the re-election challenge! We 're getting more "positive stories" about better arrests being made here in Columbus, but.... but nothing tells a different story than when you pull into Columbus' Youth Soccer Complex, and the first thing you see is a Police patrol car parked on the side of the road at the main entrance checking out cars trying to enter.

-------------------------------
The world does not see leadership in Resident Biden... Leadership is determined by the ability to command...exhibit ... "presence" ...within a room. Nowhere was Biden's "lack of presence" more obvious than when he was "eating pizza" and mingling with American troops in Poland.

I wonder if one of our soldiers left the table hungry for not getting enough pizza?

Hey, Columbus, GA Council.... What do I do on April 2nd? Today Is Monday, March 28th.. it's also my assigned garbage pick up day, and according to previously published schedules, I should be putting my trash out in the new City distributed trash cans designed for automated trash pick-up trucks... and then, put my old cans out on the street April 2nd so the City will pick them up and dispose of of them. Something tells me this sequence is not going to happen... No one in my neighborhood has gotten their new cans.

---
Online headline: "Biden on Russia's Putin: `This man cannot remain in power'" -- Hmmm... I'll bet Las Vegas has better odds on Resident Biden losing the power he has in November's mid-term elections long before Putin loses his..

---
Judge Jackson's past decisions are basically "moot" in discussions about her qualifications to be appointed to the US Supreme Court ... so all Republicans should grasp the opportunity to vote for her... and screw up the entire Mid-Term election campaign strategy of the Democrats and MSM..

---
Columbus, GA citizens deserve a website access that keeps all reported shooting events up-to-date! Found out yesterday that there was a shooting in the wee hours of Friday morning at the Grove Park development right off Double Churches Road...

Messenger Boy Biden has blown out more Flip-Flops than Jimmy Buffett! After weeks of advocating recuse of sanctions to stop Putin, now Resident Biden insists he never said sanctions would stop Putin. DOH!

Online YAHOO headline/story: "Exclusive: Key U.S. military report revealed Ukrainian defense weaknesses, weapons needs * A late 2016 U.S. Army assessment of Ukrainian military units that had participated in a U.S-led multinational training program identified key weaknesses in Ukraine’s ability to combat Russian forces and their separatist allies occupying parts of the country’s eastern Donbas region, and who were then waging a grinding war of attrition against Ukrainian troops there. * At the time, the Ukrainians’ battlefield intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance capabilities were being stymied by Russian forces’ superior “networked air defense and electronic warfare resources,” according to the report. * The assessment concluded that the “training exposed the immediate needs” in the Ukrainian forces for things like repair parts, vehicle modernization, night-vision goggles, non-commissioned officer development and a new playbook for countering Russian warfare." -- Guess this was an "EXCLUSIVE" YAHOO piece because CNN, MSNBC, and the NYTimes wouldn't run it after being so "burned" over past stories recently.... Hmmm... late in 2016... Looks like Obama-Biden left Ukraine's cupboard of defensive weaponry as bare as Obama-Biden left the Pandemic Preparedness Closet for Trump... and Trump helped Ukraine get ready as attested by Ukraine's ability to stand up to Russia now!

Flashback, September of 2014 headline/story: "Poroshenko asks Obama for weapons, obtains blankets * Images of Poroshenko sitting side by side with Obama in the Oval Office and of the warm reception he received in a speech to Congress projected a symbolic show of solidarity with the Ukraine leader as he faces down Russia’s incursion. * The White House announced that Ukraine would receive $53 million (€41 million) in new aid, including $46 million (€35.6 million) for military equipment such as counter-mortar detection units, body armor, binoculars, small boats and other gear for Ukraine’s security forces and border guards in the east. * Poroshenko used a speech to members of the U.S. Senate and House of Representatives to appeal for lethal aid. * “Please understand me correctly. Blankets, night-vision goggles are also important. But one cannot win the war with blankets.” He added: “Even more, we cannot keep the peace with a blanket.” * Drawing cheers from those lawmakers who want to arm the former Soviet state, Poroshenko declared his forces “need more military equipment, both lethal and non-lethal, urgently need.” -- Y'all remember Poroshenko.... he was the one that now Resident Biden coerced by threatening to withhold guaranteeing a loan if he didn't fire the Ukraine Prosecutor investigating Hunter's scam with Burisma... I'm betting the loans were to purchase military weapons...

My bride and I watched the last 5 minutes of the Saint Peter's - Perdue NCAA tournament game Friday night.. Whatever the final results turn out to be, Saint Peter's made itself proud...and watching college basketball fun again!

Hmm... Saint Peter's needs a new name... Peacocks just doesn't fit... the way they swarm over superior forces, let's start calling them the Saint Peter's Ukrainians!

---
From the "how ironic" department - Online YAHOO headline: "Antarctic ice shelf the size of New York City collapses" -- Hmmm...NYC and the Antarctic are in a parallel universe.. both are cold as ice and both are collapsing!

---
On a local interest, how can a person running for a School Board seat while employed by the Muscogee County School System as an "Academic Coach" state she does not receive any annual payments from the state in excess of $10,000.00? I guess it could be "possible" under certain circumstances, but I have a hard time comprehending that this is "probable".

There's another MC School Board candidate running who states he owns/co-owns 4 houses in Columbus... and 3 currently have H1 homeowners exemptions on them now (3 weeks ago, all of them had one). I do believe a Home Exemption status is only available to the one residential property considered to be one's primary residence...

---
Online story: " Sen. Joe Manchin, D-W.Va., announced Friday he plans to vote to confirm Judge Ketanji Brown Jackson to the Supreme Court, praising her "exemplary" record and career and labeling her "supremely qualified" to be a justice." -- You know.. while there are tidbits of her past judgments that raise an eyebrow or two, the real aspect that needs to be questioned is the circumstances of her nomination and her ability to hear future cases involving racial and gender discrimination cases.. Resident Biden publicly discriminated against all males and all non-Black females when he said he would only nominate a Black female for the seat being vacated by Justice Breyer.

---
You know, you do not win a war on any kind of discrimination by discriminating against another segment....the only thing that beats discrimination is demanding... and enforcing...a level playing field.

----------------------------------------------
Hmmm... and who was that masked man in Poland?

----------------------------------------
AOC called Resident Biden a "fink"... I'm not sure anything President Trump called him was that bad, but Facebook and Twitter hasn't banned her.

---
Did I hear right.... that even though Resident Biden has issued a ban on Russian fossil fuels, Russian oil, gas, and coal can be traded through June 24th? In other words, more of Biden "both sides of his mouth lip service"!

---
Online headline/story: "U.S. Rep Jayapal Unveils New ‘Climate Resilience’ Proposals * U.S. Rep. Pramila Jayapal, D-Seattle, touted new legislation Thursday to establish and fund a federal office in the White House that would promote climate resilience by creating and supporting green jobs in vulnerable communities nationwide. * The Climate Resilience Workforce Act, which is co-sponsored by dozens of House Democrats and supported by several local and national organizations and community groups, would invest in jobs in front-line communities suffering the worst impacts of climate change." -- Good grief! And of course, the only "front-line communities suffering the worst impacts of climate change" would be BLUE communities... in other words, the only thing "green" about this law would be HOW MUCH GREEN TAXPAYER DOLLARS it would waste!

---
From the "meanwhile, back at the polling booth" department - Online headline/story: "Arizona Dem senators warn Biden against 'sharp end' to Title 42 border restrictions without plan * Sens. Kelly and Sinema say that a plan must be in place before the health order ends" -- Looks like Democrat Senator Kelly is looking at November with a lot of trepidation about his loyalty to the Democratic Party versus his Arizona constituency...

---
From the "they must being using "new math" to teach Democrats about inflation" department - Online headline: "Democrats propose bills to send gas payments to Americans, some funded by taxing oil companies" -- Good grief! The Feds already tax gas at 18.4-cents a gallon in every state, and states add their own excise and sales taxes as well. Take GA.. Columbus specifically.. $0.184 Fed excise tax, $0.294 excise tax, and $0.08 sales taxes... Columbus, GA gas purchasers pay 55.8-CENTS a gallon (add another 4-cents if you're using diesel). In other words, if you get a 20 gallon gasoline "fill-up", $11.60 of that is taxes! And that's in addition to the "inflation" tax we're being clobbered with! Now the Democrats want to raise the inflation tax on gas by giving you more unbacked dollars that you will eventually have to pay for in some way...

---
Online headline: "Florida amusement park horror: Family of teenager who fell from ride retains civil rights lawyer Ben Crump -- Good grief! With Crump
s record, I'm guessing he will figure out a way to call.. and blame .. an inanimate object like an amusement ride for being racist!

---
Online headline: "Washington Gov. Jay Inslee Signs Ban on Sale of Magazines Holding More Than 10 Rounds" -- Seriously? Will someone simply ask Gov Inslee if he believes criminals in Washington state will obey this law?

---
In an article about Social Media websites, the following excerpt "caught my eye":"Who Shouldn’t Use Facebook? * Although Facebook dominates social media usage, if you’re in an industry that elicits unhappy or angry feelings, then your message may not be well received on Facebook." -- Good grief! There are no more angrier or unhappier feelings expressed on Facebook than from the LEFT!... FaceBook just shuts down challengers who expose the truths that the LEFT intentionally avoids.

---
You know...in the ever growing world of politically incorrect "slur words", have you noticed that terms like "redneck", "cracker" and "whitey" never seem to raise the ire of liberals?

Friday, March 25, 2022

Seriously.... whether you feel JoKKKe Biden will run again in 2024 or not, who else in the Socialist-Democrat Party is a legitimate replacement?

---
From the "Br'er Rabbit says, "Please don't throw me in that briar patch!" department - Online headline/story: "Biden in Europe: 'I'd be very fortunate' if Trump ran again * President Biden was not concerned about the 2024 election when asked about the possibility of former President Donald Trump or someone similar becoming president – to the contrary, he said it would be good for him to go up against Trump again." -- Hmmm... the Democrats have two bigger issues to be concerned with other than Trump...First, Messenger Boy Biden will not beat whomever the Republicans run, and two, the Dems do not have any one else to run who can win...

---
I think I have it figured out why the Democrat National Committee doesn't feel certain Blacks "ain't Black enough" for the Democratic Party...the DNC does not want to embrace Blacks who have achieved actual non-government-assisted business success.

---
Let's not let the MSM and Democrats abuse the 2020 popular vote facts:

Biden 2020    Trump 2020    Biden + margin 2020

81,269,313    74,216,241    7,052,072 US Popular Votes

States of PeLOUSY and Schmoozer:
 Biden              Trump
 11,110,639     6,006,518   =  +5,104,121  CA Popular Votes
 5,230,985       3,244,798   =  +1,986,187   NY Popular Votes
   ----------             ---------        ---------
16,341,624    9,251,316      = +7,090,308    CA + NY Combined

The truth is that in the other 48 states combined not controlled politically by PeLOUSY and Schmoozer, Trump had more popular votes than Biden..

---
One way to cut back on fraud would be to require all poll/election workers who handle absentee ballots and cast paper ballots wear gloves, and then scan all submitted ballots for fingerprints, and reject any ballots that have any duplicate fingerprints showing up on more than one ballot..

---
You know.. there is no way any reasonable person cannot see how the videos at the Fulton County Ballot counting facility didn't show ballot manipulation by Democrat Election Officials who had claimed the voting for that night was being suspended, and all Republican ...and  the honest Democrat workers... were sent home...

---
Online headline: "Trump sues Hillary Clinton for 'injurious falsehood' * 'Maliciously conspired to weave a false narrative'" -- Good grief! Hope Trump didn't include everyone of Hellary's "injurious falsehoods" because the clerk would still be reading the list years from now.. Of course, what Trump should do is list all American citizens on the suit and file it as a Class-Action Suit!

---
I can see why the NCAA gets confused about who competes in events.. Lia Thomas as a woman is chump change compared to the NCAA Men's Basketball Brackets.. In the pre-round, 4 teams compete for two 16th Seed bracket spots, and 4 teams compete for two 11th seed bracket spots. Think about that ...Two brackets name the top 15 seeds and have an elimination game to determine the 16th seeds, while the other two brackets name the 1st through 10th seeds AND the 12th through 16th seeds but have elimination games to determine the 11th seed in those two brackets. How is this fair to the teams that lose the 11th seed elimination game knowing they were higher ranked than the previously named 12th through 16th seeds in their brackets?

---
Once again.. MSM is missing the point about Judge Jackson's Senate conformation hearings.. It's not her past that should be questioned, but her FUTURE! How can a sitting US Supreme Court Judge make any ruling on racial or gender discrimination cases in the future, when she was nominated by excluding non-Black and non-male candidates even being considered for a seat? In effect, she was picked by eliminating all males, and all White, Hispanic, Asian, and Native American females from any consideration.

---
Online headline: "The White House is prepared to provide more than $1 billion in new funding toward humanitarian assistance for those affected by the war in Ukraine." -- Hmmm... you know, what I'd like to KNOW is whether that Billion-dollar-loan guarantee that BleepVeep JoKKKe Biden promised to withhold from the previous Ukraine President if he didn't fire the Prosecutor who was looking into Hunter Biden's situation on the board of Burisma was ever paid back by Ukraine?

---
Online headline: "Harris' new press secretary deleted over 10,000 tweets before taking job * Twitter cleanup came after Harris’ former spokeswoman, Symone Sanders, left to join MSNBC" -- Good grief! It was probably those "tweets" she deleted that got her the job at MSNBC in the first place!

---
Online headline: "University System of Georgia temporarily waives ACT, SAT requirements for most schools" -- A law needs to be immediately enacted to prevent students who don't take a College Entrance Exam be banned from being eligible traditional student loans.

---
Online headline: "Online headline: "Columbus Civic Center removes performance of local rapper from upcoming concert" -- Hmmm...Wanna bet ticket sales plummet and refunds requests soar?

---
From the "suspicions confirmed" department - WRBL-TV3 Online story: "A California city, Santa Barbara, is considering declaring its local Chick-fil-A drive-thru a public nuisance – not because people dislike it, but because they seem to like it too much." -- Democrats just don't want non-government-assisted success stories being visible to their voter base!

---
WTVM-TV9 headline/story: "Ga. Supreme Court Justice pays visit to the Fountain City *
During her stop in Columbus, she talked a little more about her program called ‘My Journey Matters’, which helps youth facing incarceration. * “It’s the only program where you can commit an armed robbery, walk away with no criminal history and a life.” said Lagrua. * She also presided over Atlanta’s first re-entry court, which also helped reintegrate prior offenders into the community." -- "It’s the only program where you can commit an armed robbery, walk away with no criminal history and a life."? Seriously! I cannot see much of a deterrent for future felonies that could possibly circumvent.. What I can see is why we see so many teenagers charges with "possession of a firearm by a felon" at such young ages...there are no judicial consequences... and I'd like to know (but records are probably sealed) how many homicides are persons who previously "walked away with no criminal history" ....

---
WTVM-TV9 headline/story: "US, EU announce new partnership to undercut Russian energy *
Under the plan, the U.S. and other nations will increase liquified natural gas exports to Europe by 15 billion cubic meters this year, though U.S. officials were unable to say exactly which countries will provide the extra energy this year. Even larger shipments would be delivered in the future." -- Good grief! Messenger Boy Biden basically was ordered to shut down America's energy independence on Day 1 of his term, and now wants to cut out available fossil fuels back by sending them to Europe while negotiating with Venezuela's despot leader Maduro to buy fossil fuels for America.. What's next.. will JoKKKe Biden order a new pipeline built to connect currently closed down Anwar .. through Canada... under the Atlantic Ocean with Europe?

---
Follow up on Columbus, GA gas prices: Earlier this week, I posted pictures of the Williams Road Shell station showing no reduction in pump prices after Gov Shemp's suspension of the GA State Excise Tax.. Did go by yesterday, and the pumps reflect a 30-cent drop... of course, at $3.999 for regular, and $4.999 for Premium, that station is clearly charging too much compared to most stations in Columbus...avoiding that Shell might send them a valuable lesson!

Thursday, March 24, 2022

From the "Bias? What bias!" department - Online "headLIE"/story: " Ex-prosecutor: Trump 'guilty of numerous felony violations * by Associated Press MICHAEL R. SISAK * Mark Pomerantz, who had been leading a criminal investigation into Donald Trump before quitting last month said in his resignation letter that he believes the former president is “guilty of numerous felony violations” and he disagreed with the Manhattan district attorney’s decision not to seek an indictment."-- WRONG! There is no "guilty of numerous felony violations" unless... UNLESS a jury SAYS one is "guilty" of "numerous felony violations"! -- Good grief! @ttorney Mark Pomerantz should be disbarred.. and writer Michael Sisak should be fired and blackballed from future media jobs!

---
Maybe they are "twins! Lia Thomas and Emma Weyant (2nd Place) are both considered women swimmers and both are listed as 5' 8" tall and around 125 pounds... Everything about Lia Thomas is a lie!

-------------------------------
Online headline/story: "Supreme Court blocks revised legislative map for Wisconsin that created a new Black voting district * In an unsigned opinion, the Supreme Court said the governor’s plan embraced “the sort of uncritical majority-minority district maximization that we have expressly rejected.”" -- Good grief! No Congressional District should be mapped of based on race or political Party membership!... they should all be based on numbers and as compact and symmetrical as possible following county borders!

---
Resident Biden could do more damage to the Russian economy using the same Executive Orders/Regulations he cursed America's oil industry with on Day 1 rather than the sanctions be threw at Russia months after Russia was already prepared to handle..

---
From the "Foghorn Leghorn, "Any of this getting through that little old blue bonnet of yours." department - Online story: " The Taliban on Wednesday backtracked on their announcement that high schools would open for girls, saying they would remain closed until a plan was drawn up in accordance with Islamic law for them to reopen." -- This is just one of "the sanctions" Resident Biden made against Afghani Muslim women when he returned Afghanistan to the Taliban...

---
WTVM-TV9 story item: "2 counts of possession of a handgun by person under 18 years of age, misdemeanor" -- Seriously... "2 counts of a minor possessing a handgun" are considered "misdemeanors"? I can sorta accept "misdemeanor" for one of those, but a second charge should definitely been considered a FELONY!

---
Online headline/story: "Obama axing Cold War-era military policy leaves US unable to battle in two, simultaneous regional conflicts * 'The perception was you just didn't need a big U.S. military,' one expert says of the Obama admin's view * Former President Barack Obama and then-Defense Secretary Leon Panetta announced a new strategy in January 2012 that ended the Cold War-era "two-war" planning construct." -- Hold your horses! What was Obama's policy is not a LAW!

---
From the "betcha this doesn't appear on "The View" department - Online headline: "Ivanka Trump sends 1M meals to Ukrainian refugees * The 1 million meals amount to 158,400 pounds of food to Ukrainians" -- Not only won't it appear on "The View", if it's seen on CNN and MSNBC, the headline will read.. "Ivanka Trump takes 158,000 pounds of food out of America's poverty supply line and dumps it in Europe"...

---
Online headline: "Atlanta, GA * Why are there so many efforts to form new cities in Georgia?" -- It's not just a question of "Why"? It's more a question of "HOW SOON CAN WE SEPARATE FROM Atlanta, and so we feel safe again!"

---
Online "headLIE"/story: "State senators clamp down on free speech * Rights are being stripped by the Right * Georgia lawmakers passed a bill this week introduced by Cataula Republican Randy Robertson that would erode the due process rights of protesters and further curtail free speech. Included in Robertson’s Senate Bill 171 is an expanded definition of “unlawful assembly” that would increase potential charges and penalties for protesters. * Georgia Recorder commentator Nora Benavidez cites issues with troubling permit requirements" -- First, the "Georgia Recorder is far from an objective organization... in fact AOC would consider it LEFT of her... but the real issue is that the new law better protects all citizens.. including the protest groups... from antifa type assaults!

---
Online headline: "Kamala Harris viewed White House aides not standing when she walked into a room as 'a sign of disrespect,' book says" -- Hmmm .. respect is earned...but feeling slighted by others is more of a sign of knowing ... acknowledging.... your obvious shortcomings.. perhaps even more of a case of paranoia...

---
A county supervisor in Wisconsin wants to stop reciting the Pledge of Allegiance to our Flag because .. get this... it's not inclusive. I tell you what.. if you are an American and don't feel you are included, you should move to another country and find out real quick how you get treated for not wanting to fit in.

---
From the "10 years too late" department - NY Democrat Congressman Ritchie Torres just promoted Ratt Romney and hung out Obama to to dry. Torres said, "Russia has emerged as the single greatest threat to the national security of the United States and so we in the Bronx can no longer afford to be in the dark about espionage in our own backyard," Torres said. "Russian espionage must be exposed wherever it exists and it must be expelled wherever it is exposed." And we wonder why Biden is in lockstep with Obama about protecting Russia....

---
Online headline: "States pocketed millions in COVID-relief cash for pet projects
Several lawmakers from both sides of the aisle spoke out on the COVID funds going to state and local pet projects" -- All Federal money sen to states should be audited for use as requested or granted.... and Columbus, GA would be a great place to start the audit!

---
WRBL-TV3 headline/story: "City council provides update on Columbus (GA) crime initiative * The police department and the sheriff’s office aren’t the only ones trying to make our city safer. * he crime-fighting initiative known as ‘Cure Violence’ gave an update at the Columbus City Council meeting last night. * A program representative said after the assessment done in 2021, ‘Cure Violence’ will be coming under the Muscogee County Health Department, during the beginning stages." -- Good grief! Is this what taxpayers got for $500,000.00?

---
WTVM-TV9 headline: "GEORGIA * District attorneys warn requiring cash bail could clog jails" -- Yes! Keeping felony criminals off the streets as much as possible makes the streets SAFER! And we could sure use safer streets in our lives! (Pssst.. take a hint "Cure Violence" and WRBL-TV3)

---
Online headline: "Washington Post reporter defends Judge Jackson's inability to define what a ‘woman’ is: it’s ‘complicated’" -- "Complicated"? What's "complicated" about describing what a woman is? A woman is a baby born with internal genitalia, and after going through puberty, becomes a woman. Sounds pretty simple to me...

Wednesday, March 23, 2022

From the "that's mighty White House of the Democrats" department - Online headline/story: :'Hard days ahead in Ukraine,' WH says of Russian invasion * With Biden making clear that the United States would not send troops to Ukraine out of fears of provoking Russia into a broader conflict, it is not apparent just how the current stalemate will be resolved." -- Hmmm... I guess feeling connected with the people during crises has about a 30 day limit for the Democrats.. I remember it was about 30 days after 9-11-01 when the Democrats shed their patriotism, and started feeling sorry for all mid-Eastern Muslims feelings of being thought of as terrorists..

I really don't know why there's a Senate Committee to question Judge Jackson's past decisions... it's her future that should be questioned. Unless Bernie of Manchin vote "no" she will get Chuckles Harris' tie-breaking vote and be seated on the US Supreme Court, but it's how she was nominated that she needs to be the questioned about... she needs to be asked if she will recuse herself on any.. well,  all.. cases that involve racism and gender equity.. Since Resident Biden's stated cause of only considering a Black female to nominate, she has become the poster child against affirmative action cases based on race and/or gender..

---
Looks like the undefinable word "methodology" is the Supreme Court nominee's go to deflection for questions regarding her decision making . This reminds me of how UGA Coach Kirby Smart created the word "physicality" to explain UGA's success on the field. Who actually knows what he meant, either?

Poor Kanye West... he's gone from "Icon Black" to " I Ain't Black Enough" in Media and Democrat Circles.

Online story: "“Well, I've tested positive for COVID,” Hellary Clinton tweeted." - Hmmm... of course she says "COVID, she meant "Capability Of Veracity Is Doubtful".

Online headline: "White House press secretary Jen Psaki positive for COVID" -- Hmmm... sounds like Psaki has the same variant of COVID that Hillary has.. "Capability Of Veracity Is Doubtful"

Online headline: "Gas stations sue a rival station for selling cheap gas
Owners of Shell and BP stations claim that Woodman's is breaking the law by setting its gas prices too low." -- The lawsuit claims * A gas station managed by Woodman's Market in Waukesha, Wisconsin, was recently sued by two competitors who say it has priced its fuel artificially low. According to local ABC affiliate WISN, owners of Shell and BP stations claim that Woodman's is breaking the law by selling gas for less than the station itself paid for it. Apparently, that's a crime in Wisconsin, and the rival stations are suing for damages totaling $80,000 each." -- I was fed up with a Columbus, GA Shell Station when it kept selling gasoline from $4.299 to $5.299 last weekend even though GA's Governor Shemp had suspended collecting the 29.4-cents-per-gallon excise tax, but now, I will avoid ever buying gas from Shell or BP.. I grew up in a time when 4 gas stations in a block of each other would have "gas wars" at the drop of a hat.. On a slow day, one might go to the street sign and lower it's 16.9 cents a gallon price to 15.9 cents per gallon... Then the stations would either match that or one might even lower it another penny.. One day in 1967, I filled up my gas guzzling 400 HO powered GTO in the morning at 11.9 cents a gallon... then refilled it 5 hours later at 7.9 cents a gallon. To boot, the station had attendants that poured my gas, checked my oil and tires and wipers, and cleaned my windshield for FREE!

From the "Good Grief!" department - Online story: "WASHINGTON (AP) — The future of Europe hanging in the balance, President Biden will huddle with key allies in Brussels and Warsaw this week as the leaders try to prevent Russia’s war on Ukraine from spiraling into an even greater catastrophe." -- Good grief! Europe .. and especially Ukraine... has seen Resident Biden's defense of America's border and probably have more fear he's concerned about their borders.. What's Biden gonna going to offer them .. anti-bicycle missiles?

---
Online headline: "Researchers Think They’ve Identified Parts of Yosemite National Park That Are Sheltered From Climate Change" -- Hmmm... bet these are the same experts that think the Climate Change will cause flooding on our East Coast but never mention our West Coast even though all ocean waters are connected and water adjusts itself universally rather than locally...

WTVM-TV9 online headline: "Muscogee Co. School Board approves bonuses for teacher recruitment and retention" -- Excuse me.. but isn't the student enrollment in the MCSD DOWN this year? Shouldn't the MCSD be trimming down it's staff!

Online headline: "Russian society becoming more like North Korea, expert says, as Kremlin creates new 'Hermit Kingdom'" -- Hmmm... Russia... becoming more like North Korea? How about being closer to the agenda goal of the Democratic Party here in America!

Online headline: "Georgia House panel considers bill that aims to require bail for all felonies" -- Good grief! How.. at any time... would... COULD.. any judge not assign a money valued bail for any felony crime?... And NO Bail for a felony use of a weapon!

Online headline/story: "If You Think Republicans Are Overplaying Schools, You Aren’t Paying Attention * For 30 years, polls showed that Americans trusted Democrats over Republicans to invest in public education and strengthen schools. Within the past year, however, Republicans have closed the gap; a recent poll shows the two parties separated on the issue by less than the margin of error." -- Democrats have warped the education of new voters for 30 years.. think about how many better educated voters who have died over those same years and it's effect on the quality of politicians that get elected...

---
Republicans in NY have a good idea.. they are setting up voter registration centers at gas stations where frustrated consumers can get into the system . They have a good slogan, too.. "If you're feeling Biden BLUE, vote RED!

---
The libs/Democrats feel they have a solution for the high price of gas..... Park your car on Sundays.. this just shows they are anti-religious and anti-family.. they don't feel we should go to church nor enjoy an outdoor outing with our families.

---
Hey, Messenger Boy Biden... Where are my Covid-19 Home Tests you said you were sending me? Just another lie I reckon.. You are the King of the Whoppers!

Hey, Columbus, GA Council.. when do we get our new trash cans? And I'm not just talking about my bride and me, but our entire neighborhood? Wake up, Glenn.. you too Judy!

WTVM-TV9 headline/story: "Muscogee Co. School District evaluating emergency plans at old Spencer High School * The Muscogee County School District is conducting a full-scale multi-jurisdiction exercise." -- Well, at least the 1st Responders certainly felt they were IN an authentic Ukraine disaster zone caused by Putin..

---
Online headline" (The Muscogee County School) Board approves emergency purchase of sewer line replacement at Eddy Middle School" -- Why is it that when taxpayers pay to have buildings built, they don't last like buildings private businesses build . We see it in the school system and our City government system.

---
Wait a minute! THE Columbus GA Council has run a $400,000,000.00 SPLOST project list by us.. is spending nearly $50,000,000.00 buying out/furnishing 1100 Block of Broadway properties that are way older than the Government Center that Council is going tear down, and given away about $50,000,000.00 in tax deferences, and now want to spend $3,300,000.00 on box seats for the elite to watch kayaking on the river. Maybe that's why Council wants to move a twenty foot cow down there... It'll be a distraction from voting issues for the incumbent's!

---
Now it looks like Columbus (GA) State University is going to accept students who haven't taken, much less passed S.A.T. or A.C.T. exams. Well, then no student loans should be available for students who didn't take College Entrance Preparedness Exams.

Online headline:/story: "Georgia legislature OKs bill to let some retired teachers return * Under the measure, teachers who have 30 years of service could return to the classroom after at least 12 months of retirement, earning both a full salary and their pension. * “This bill benefits the retired teacher, our students, the retirement system, and rural Georgia,” said Sen. Russ Goodman, a Cogdell Republican. “This helps school systems fill vacant teaching positions in high need areas with qualified and experienced teachers.”" -- Good grief! If NOW the politicians are concerned about the need for older amd more experienced teachers being in he classroom, then they ought to change the the retirement age to 62 or higher like most most businesses/Social Security does.. The "30 year" retirement option is the REASON experienced teachers get out in their low 50s!

Tuesday, March 22, 2022

March has been an emotional roller coaster ride for our family, especially for my wonderful wife, 3 daughters and our 10 year old granddaughter (our 4 grandsons are too young to fully comprehend "loss") .. Earlier this month, we had to say good-bye to my mom-in-law of the past 22 years.. a woman best described in portions of Proverbs 31:10-31.. then this past Thursday, we learned our daughters' bio-dad had suddenly passed and dealt another emotional blow to an already reeling us...through it all, God made known HIS presence in so many ways. God is good.. all he time...

Governor Kemp proved himself to be more "Shemp (as in the 3 Stooges)" than Kemp last Friday when he signed a bill to immediately stop collecting the state excise tax of 29.4-cents a gallon on gasoline.. as I predicted.. few stations reduced their sales prices.. Pictured are pump prices at the Shell station on Williams Roar on Saturday, the day after the tax was temporarily removed...

Regular was still $4.299

but look at High-test.. $5.299...

mind you .. this is Columbus, GA, not california!

To boot, these prices were still on the pumps on Monday evening when we returned home..

From the "what happened?" department - Online story: "Columbus, Georgia *
The birthplace of Coca-Cola and the home of Columbus State University, Columbus is rich in American history. Located in the US state of Georgia along the banks of the Chattahoochee River, Columbus remains a great example of a true river city that ranked among the top industrial centers of the South throughout the early 1900s." -- "among the top industrial centers of the South throughout the early 1900s."? The 1900s? What happened! Looks like Council and the Chamber of Commerce should be more proactive of Columbus' strengths!

From the "is he really this stupid?" department - Online "headLIE": "Sen. Ossoff working to protect Georgians Constitutional right to a lawyer" -- DOH? Sen Ossoff is "Oh-so-off". He needs a refresher course on Constitutional law where the right to a lawyer for defense in a criminal case is ALREADY assured... guaranteed... by our 6th Constitutional Amendment! I guess Senator Oh-so-off's next move will be to walk down Stone Mountain carrying stone tablets with the Commandments written by God...

Online headline: "Some Colorado high schools are doing away with 'valedictorian' *
Cherry Creek School District will no longer highlight valedictorians at graduation because ‘learning is not a competition’ -- Hmmm.. "not competition"? Hmmm... Then I guess elite schools can do away with their scholarship committees and just issue tuition awards on a first-come-first-served diversity basis....I guess some Colorado schools will do away with keeping score in sports, grades in classrooms... and allow men to compete as women... Huh? Did I miss something last week when I was off-the-grid?

WRBL-TV3 story: "COLUMBUS, Ga. (WRBL) – Democratic Gubernatorial Candidate Stacey Abrams made a stop in Midtown Columbus on Friday. * The politician’s “One Georgia” tour made a stop at local restaurant Jarfly. The restaurant was packed with community members, leaders and politicians including Attorney Teddy Reese who is running for House District 140 seat. The seat was formerly held by Calvin Smyre, who Abrams mentioned in her remarks today. * “To hear representative Abrams, leader Abrams talk about him and the work that he did and to stand there and be inspired by it and know that the person who follows him would need to be one of the same quality one of the same character who carries the value of District 140 that was very very important for me, that was passionate for me and I knew that this was a moment in history.” -- What's this about House District 140? Has Reese any clue where District 140 is? ((Psst.. Just East of Macon/Warner Robins... Twiggs & Wilkinson Counties) The honorable Calvin Smyre served District 135 since 1974 and is moving on to the US Ambassadorship to Dominican Republic.. Oh! And shame on WRBL for not catching this District number error!

Online story: "South Carolina has given the greenlight to firing-squad executions, a method codified into state law last year after a decade-long pause in carrying out death sentences because of the state’s inability to procure lethal injection drugs.* -- Hmmm.. while definitely efficient .. and cost effective... I don't know why states who have a hard time securing lethal drugs for injections don't just ask the DOJ to furnish them some of the fentanyl-laced Oxycontin captured as it comes across our Southern border.

From the "Confirmation!" department - Online headline/story: "Federal judge says Yale Law students who disrupted free speech panel should be 'noted' * Judge Lawrence Silberman of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the D.C. Circuit continued: "All federal judges—and all federal judges are presumably committed to free speech — should carefully consider whether any student so identified should be disqualified from potential clerkships." -- Wow! I think I'll add this judge to my blog e-mail list! Before his comments came out, I had published the following last Friday: "Good grief! Practicing law is about defending the Constitutional rights of private citizens, not curtailing them! Every Yale Law current student involved should be "blacklisted" from ever being a federal court nominee or judge.. and all future students of the existing Yale Law professors should also be add to this list...

In other words, taxpayers are not only losing access to the River for 9 months but we are losing access to many millions of property tax dollars for 10 years due to T.A.D. projects along the RiverWalk... and the with "stadium seats" added, no doubt city and event officials will have a "roped off" area that unconnected taxpayers will be restricted from using for events...

---
Online headline/story: "Coro Realty Sells Cross Country Plaza for $42.6 Million * Coro Realty, the Atlanta-based, diversified real estate company, purchased Cross Country Plaza in 2013" -- Interesting... but what's even more interesting is why the Muscogee County School Board hasn't sold what may be the most valuable piece of property.. about 44 acres... in North Columbus which it uses as a school bus parking lot and maintenance compound.

Xi and Biden ARE NOT ON THE SAME PAGE! My bet is that Biden spent most of the 2 hours begging Xi not to talk about Biden family interests in China..

The Shell station on Williams Road off I-185 had not lowered there's one-cant as of Saturday AM, and it's price was $5.299 for premium ...Hey! Williams Rd Shell.. we're in GA not CA!
