Hmmm...Resident Biden called Putin a "butcher". The White House "handlers" quickly overrode him. Now.. what is worse.. a "butcher"... or an armed-to-the-teeth bystander who stands around talking to cameras about how bad Putin is, but doesn't do anything about it?
---
3 Online headlines: "White House walks back multiple Biden remarks during Europe trip on Putin, chemical weapons, troops" and "White House insists US troops not going to Ukraine after Biden comments in Poland" * Biden says Putin 'cannot remain in power,' White House clarifies" -- Hmmm... Resident Biden went "off script":and ranted tough words about Putin and US Troops while in Poland. The words had hardly been uttered when we got word that the White House had "walked back" that statement... If that doesn't tell the world that JoKKKe Biden is anything but "the front" for a "shell company of undisclosed puppet masters" pulling Messenger Boy Biden's strings, what else does the world need?
---
Online headline: "Sen. Booker on resolution of Russia-Ukraine conflict: 'I don't see how this ends well' for Putin" -- Seriously? I remember when Booker "felt" a Biden win in 2020 would "end well" for Democrats...

NYTimes headLIE: "The New York Times: Chris Wallace Says Life at Fox News Became ‘Unsustainable’." -- WRONG! "Life" at Fox News has not only BEEN SUSTAINABLE... it has grown even bigger! What Chris Wallace should have said is "his LIES at Fox News Became ‘Unsustainable’.

I applaud when local media tackles pertinent issues affecting Columbus, GA's current and future interests/needs, but using old information/facts/numbers is not helpful... Friday, WTVM posted an editorial comment about how Mayoral candidates are approaching our crime issue. She used the 2020 figure of 42 (though we actually had 46 homicides) to come up with a 21-per-100,000 people in Columbus. We have 2021 figures that show a 50+ percent homicide increase over 2020. In 2021, Columbus had 71 homicides (alternate number (pushed by CPD & the Mayor) of 63 newly re-classified as murders", and we have 200,000 +/- people.. That's 35.5 homicides (alternate number 31.5 for newly re-classified "murders") per 100,000 people.. and Columbus, GA is number 21 (between Portsmouth, VA and Philadelphia, PA)in the Top.. uh... WORSE Homicide Cities in the America!

Online headline: "Sean Penn threatens to destroy Oscars if Zelenskyy not invited to Academy Awards" -- Good grief! Even if Zelenskyy would make a personal appearance at "the Oscars", I wouldn't watch... on the other hand, I might "pay for view" the Oscars if someone tied Sean Penn to an Oscar and set him on fire using Venezuelan oil as an accelerant...

WTVM-TV9 headline: "City of Columbus, Ft. Benning holds Metal of Honor plaque unveiling for military heroes" -- "Metal of Honor"? Aside from that... How blessed Columbus has been to being influenced by such self-sacrificing heroes! Let's pray Council protects them from the upcoming demolition of the Government Center!
---
WTVM-TV9 headline/story: "Davis Broadcasting gives free gas to residents in Columbus * Davis Broadcasting gave free gas to the first 200 cars to show up at the Sunoco Gas Station in Columbus. * Foxie 105 and Praise 100.7 radio stations announced the location one hour before the free gas giveaway. * Hundreds of vehicles lined St. Mary’s Road in hopes of receiving free fuel for their tanks." -- Nice gesture... now, will there be a nice gesture made for folks living in North Columbus? Oh! Wonder if Davis Broadcasting knew there was a Sunoco Gas Station just 3 blocks West of it's Office location on Wynnton Road that would have been easily accessible for all of Columbus?
---
WRBL-TV3 headline: "City Council District 9 at large candidates share platform" -- Looks like Columbus, GA has several "more than qualified" and "wanna do something" candidates running for the District 9 At-Large seat.. One of them even has both City accounting management experience AS WELL AS years spent in local economic development at the state and local level. .. let's listen to Doug Redmond!

After getting excited about the advancement to the NCAA's Elite 8 for Saint Peter's, I decided to watch the Houston-Villa Nova game.. One of the Houston players had his hair in dreads .. which is not a problem...but he also had red beads on the tips of each strand.. He should not have been allowed to play! Any time he shook/twisted his head, those beads swung out like miniature weapons. As close a game basketball is "in the paint", someone could really get their face/eyes seriously damaged. Villa Nova winning avoids further possibility of other players.

Guess Columbus' Mayor feels the heat of the re-election challenge! We 're getting more "positive stories" about better arrests being made here in Columbus, but.... but nothing tells a different story than when you pull into Columbus' Youth Soccer Complex, and the first thing you see is a Police patrol car parked on the side of the road at the main entrance checking out cars trying to enter.

The world does not see leadership in Resident Biden... Leadership is determined by the ability to command...exhibit ... "presence" ...within a room. Nowhere was Biden's "lack of presence" more obvious than when he was "eating pizza" and mingling with American troops in Poland.
I wonder if one of our soldiers left the table hungry for not getting enough pizza?

Hey, Columbus, GA Council.... What do I do on April 2nd? Today Is Monday, March 28th.. it's also my assigned garbage pick up day, and according to previously published schedules, I should be putting my trash out in the new City distributed trash cans designed for automated trash pick-up trucks... and then, put my old cans out on the street April 2nd so the City will pick them up and dispose of of them. Something tells me this sequence is not going to happen... No one in my neighborhood has gotten their new cans.

Online headline: "Biden on Russia's Putin: `This man cannot remain in power'" -- Hmmm... I'll bet Las Vegas has better odds on Resident Biden losing the power he has in November's mid-term elections long before Putin loses his..
---
Judge Jackson's past decisions are basically "moot" in discussions about her qualifications to be appointed to the US Supreme Court ... so all Republicans should grasp the opportunity to vote for her... and screw up the entire Mid-Term election campaign strategy of the Democrats and MSM..

Columbus, GA citizens deserve a website access that keeps all reported shooting events up-to-date! Found out yesterday that there was a shooting in the wee hours of Friday morning at the Grove Park development right off Double Churches Road...

Messenger Boy Biden has blown out more Flip-Flops than Jimmy Buffett! After weeks of advocating recuse of sanctions to stop Putin, now Resident Biden insists he never said sanctions would stop Putin. DOH!

Online YAHOO headline/story: "Exclusive: Key U.S. military report revealed Ukrainian defense weaknesses, weapons needs * A late 2016 U.S. Army assessment of Ukrainian military units that had participated in a U.S-led multinational training program identified key weaknesses in Ukraine’s ability to combat Russian forces and their separatist allies occupying parts of the country’s eastern Donbas region, and who were then waging a grinding war of attrition against Ukrainian troops there. * At the time, the Ukrainians’ battlefield intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance capabilities were being stymied by Russian forces’ superior “networked air defense and electronic warfare resources,” according to the report. * The assessment concluded that the “training exposed the immediate needs” in the Ukrainian forces for things like repair parts, vehicle modernization, night-vision goggles, non-commissioned officer development and a new playbook for countering Russian warfare." -- Guess this was an "EXCLUSIVE" YAHOO piece because CNN, MSNBC, and the NYTimes wouldn't run it after being so "burned" over past stories recently.... Hmmm... late in 2016... Looks like Obama-Biden left Ukraine's cupboard of defensive weaponry as bare as Obama-Biden left the Pandemic Preparedness Closet for Trump... and Trump helped Ukraine get ready as attested by Ukraine's ability to stand up to Russia now!
Flashback, September of 2014 headline/story: "Poroshenko asks Obama for weapons, obtains blankets * Images of Poroshenko sitting side by side with Obama in the Oval Office and of the warm reception he received in a speech to Congress projected a symbolic show of solidarity with the Ukraine leader as he faces down Russia’s incursion. * The White House announced that Ukraine would receive $53 million (€41 million) in new aid, including $46 million (€35.6 million) for military equipment such as counter-mortar detection units, body armor, binoculars, small boats and other gear for Ukraine’s security forces and border guards in the east. * Poroshenko used a speech to members of the U.S. Senate and House of Representatives to appeal for lethal aid. * “Please understand me correctly. Blankets, night-vision goggles are also important. But one cannot win the war with blankets.” He added: “Even more, we cannot keep the peace with a blanket.” * Drawing cheers from those lawmakers who want to arm the former Soviet state, Poroshenko declared his forces “need more military equipment, both lethal and non-lethal, urgently need.” -- Y'all remember Poroshenko.... he was the one that now Resident Biden coerced by threatening to withhold guaranteeing a loan if he didn't fire the Ukraine Prosecutor investigating Hunter's scam with Burisma... I'm betting the loans were to purchase military weapons...

My bride and I watched the last 5 minutes of the Saint Peter's - Perdue NCAA tournament game Friday night.. Whatever the final results turn out to be, Saint Peter's made itself proud...and watching college basketball fun again!
Hmm... Saint Peter's needs a new name... Peacocks just doesn't fit... the way they swarm over superior forces, let's start calling them the Saint Peter's Ukrainians!

From the "how ironic" department - Online YAHOO headline: "Antarctic ice shelf the size of New York City collapses" -- Hmmm...NYC and the Antarctic are in a parallel universe.. both are cold as ice and both are collapsing!
---
On a local interest, how can a person running for a School Board seat while employed by the Muscogee County School System as an "Academic Coach" state she does not receive any annual payments from the state in excess of $10,000.00? I guess it could be "possible" under certain circumstances, but I have a hard time comprehending that this is "probable".
There's another MC School Board candidate running who states he owns/co-owns 4 houses in Columbus... and 3 currently have H1 homeowners exemptions on them now (3 weeks ago, all of them had one). I do believe a Home Exemption status is only available to the one residential property considered to be one's primary residence...

Online story: " Sen. Joe Manchin, D-W.Va., announced Friday he plans to vote to confirm Judge Ketanji Brown Jackson to the Supreme Court, praising her "exemplary" record and career and labeling her "supremely qualified" to be a justice." -- You know.. while there are tidbits of her past judgments that raise an eyebrow or two, the real aspect that needs to be questioned is the circumstances of her nomination and her ability to hear future cases involving racial and gender discrimination cases.. Resident Biden publicly discriminated against all males and all non-Black females when he said he would only nominate a Black female for the seat being vacated by Justice Breyer.
---
You know, you do not win a war on any kind of discrimination by discriminating against another segment....the only thing that beats discrimination is demanding... and enforcing...a level playing field.

Hmmm... and who was that masked man in Poland?

AOC called Resident Biden a "fink"... I'm not sure anything President Trump called him was that bad, but Facebook and Twitter hasn't banned her.

Did I hear right.... that even though Resident Biden has issued a ban on Russian fossil fuels, Russian oil, gas, and coal can be traded through June 24th? In other words, more of Biden "both sides of his mouth lip service"!

Online headline/story: "U.S. Rep Jayapal Unveils New ‘Climate Resilience’ Proposals * U.S. Rep. Pramila Jayapal, D-Seattle, touted new legislation Thursday to establish and fund a federal office in the White House that would promote climate resilience by creating and supporting green jobs in vulnerable communities nationwide. * The Climate Resilience Workforce Act, which is co-sponsored by dozens of House Democrats and supported by several local and national organizations and community groups, would invest in jobs in front-line communities suffering the worst impacts of climate change." -- Good grief! And of course, the only "front-line communities suffering the worst impacts of climate change" would be BLUE communities... in other words, the only thing "green" about this law would be HOW MUCH GREEN TAXPAYER DOLLARS it would waste!
---
From the "meanwhile, back at the polling booth" department - Online headline/story: "Arizona Dem senators warn Biden against 'sharp end' to Title 42 border restrictions without plan * Sens. Kelly and Sinema say that a plan must be in place before the health order ends" -- Looks like Democrat Senator Kelly is looking at November with a lot of trepidation about his loyalty to the Democratic Party versus his Arizona constituency...
---
From the "they must being using "new math" to teach Democrats about inflation" department - Online headline: "Democrats propose bills to send gas payments to Americans, some funded by taxing oil companies" -- Good grief! The Feds already tax gas at 18.4-cents a gallon in every state, and states add their own excise and sales taxes as well. Take GA.. Columbus specifically.. $0.184 Fed excise tax, $0.294 excise tax, and $0.08 sales taxes... Columbus, GA gas purchasers pay 55.8-CENTS a gallon (add another 4-cents if you're using diesel). In other words, if you get a 20 gallon gasoline "fill-up", $11.60 of that is taxes! And that's in addition to the "inflation" tax we're being clobbered with! Now the Democrats want to raise the inflation tax on gas by giving you more unbacked dollars that you will eventually have to pay for in some way...
---
Online headline: "Florida amusement park horror: Family of teenager who fell from ride retains civil rights lawyer Ben Crump -- Good grief! With Crump
s record, I'm guessing he will figure out a way to call.. and blame .. an inanimate object like an amusement ride for being racist!
---
Online headline: "Washington Gov. Jay Inslee Signs Ban on Sale of Magazines Holding More Than 10 Rounds" -- Seriously? Will someone simply ask Gov Inslee if he believes criminals in Washington state will obey this law?
---
In an article about Social Media websites, the following excerpt "caught my eye":"Who Shouldn’t Use Facebook? * Although Facebook dominates social media usage, if you’re in an industry that elicits unhappy or angry feelings, then your message may not be well received on Facebook." -- Good grief! There are no more angrier or unhappier feelings expressed on Facebook than from the LEFT!... FaceBook just shuts down challengers who expose the truths that the LEFT intentionally avoids.

You know...in the ever growing world of politically incorrect "slur words", have you noticed that terms like "redneck", "cracker" and "whitey" never seem to raise the ire of liberals?
