Obviously gouging! How does a gas station raise it's prices.. with no guilt... of gas in their storage tanks 10-cents.. or more ..at a time..... on the existing fuel they've already paid for? When I see a refueling truck at a station, I understand, but I also remember the mid-70s .."WIN" ( Whip Inflation Now) when the federal law prohibited retailers from raising the price of old stock when new stock came in at higher prices. I remember popular styles of shoes having boxes marked with many prices when re-orders came in on popular sizes.. In some cases, we sold shoes in popular sizes at a LOSS because we couldn't price them with a profitable margin. Now, as for gas prices.. last weekend,I/we paid $3.499 for regular... Saturday, gas was $4.099-$4.299 for regular ga It's bad enough when people who rob us ARE masked.. but it's even worse when you cab see the ear-to-ear grin of of the person robbing you...

About 10 days ago, my bride returned home with a box of G.I.R.L. Scout Thin Mint cookies. I use to buy those by the case.. I remember when they cost 50-cents a box and didn't let price hikes to $1.00.... then $2.00 ruin my enjoyment. Then GSA changed manufacturers, and the price moved up to $4.00 a box, but it was the decline in taste that made me stop buying them. Well, I tried a handful of the new ones... I've had cardboard that tasted better. Then.. this week, I was shopping at a store and my eye caught something intriguing.. It was a package of Keebler "Grasshopper Mint & Fudge" cookies. They even looked like the GSA Thin Mints. I bought a package. Wow, not only did they taste as good as I remembered Thin Mints, the package weighed more than the current GSA Thin Mints.... AND THEY COST ONLY $2.69 vs $4.00 !

--- I wrote off ever using CVS Friday! I needed a Covid-19 rapid test, and called into the local number and got connected to the absolute WORST menu of call options I've ever had to deal with.. After 3 calls in trying to restart the options, I hit button after button trying to get a PERSON online.. and it worked..Unfortunately, it was someone who had to ask where I was calling from, who then asked how I got her number. Then she tried to make me go to their website, which I didn't want to do since my quest was for a rapid COVID test I needed ASAP so I could have the scheduled Friday morning procedure I was having. CVS has lost me as even a walk-in customer for over-the-counter products... FOR LIFE! Mercy Med was there for me...and Covid-19 test was negative...
