Online headline: "A source inside the Fulton DA’s office has confirmed that the special grand jury found no criminal evidence against former president Donald Trump – a fact that Willis is desperately trying to keep sealed" -- What did I predict! Of course she won't take the Fulton County Board of Elections to task because she could win that and be guaranteed losing her re-election in 2024.

Online headline: "Evangelicals to Franklin Graham: "You're Fired" if You Continue to Support Donald Trump." -- Hmmm... "You're fired"? Telling Franklin Graham "You're Fired!" for his beliefs doesn't sound very Christian to me.. hmmmm .. wonder if "Evangelicals" would have told Jesus "You're Fired" for standing up for what he knew and believed?

Online headline/story: "Poll shows 0% of Black voters had 'poor' voting experience in November despite Biden claim of 'Jim Crow 2.0' * A new poll shows 0% of Georgia’s Black voters had a "poor" experience casting a ballot in the midterm elections in November, the first since new voting laws took hold in the Peach State. * The results of the University of Georgia poll and high turnout proved voters saw "through the lies" despite claims from Democrats and the White House that said the new law represents "Jim Crow 2.0,"" -- Hmmm... "zero percent"? Wow... this makes efforts and campaign claims by GA Democrats Abrams and Warnock out and out lies ! Perhaps there should be forensic audits in Stacey Abrams' campaign and organizations.

---
Online story: "An Atlanta Journal-Constitution poll conducted by the University of Georgia’s School of Public and International Affairs shows that 52 percent of Georgia voters agree that, “in general,” it’s more important for elected officials “to compromise to get things done rather than stand on principle even if it means gridlock.” -- Hmmm.... While compromise does have a place in politics to speed up actions, you must realize that in any compromise situation, compromise lowers the standards of ethics and moral high ground....be careful what you wish for..

Online headline: "Columbus, GA police investigate shooting on Buxton Drive: -- In 2022, about 520 local people were wounded or killed in shootings throughout Columbus, GA... and that doesn't included shooting incidents where no one was hit by a bullet.... it's been scary enough on the streets of Columbus at night...and now we have to be vigilant in the morning daylight.

Online story: " LawnStarter ranked 2023’s Dirtiest Cities in America following one of the trashiest times of the year, the winter holiday season. We compared over 150 of the biggest U.S. cities across four categories, including pollution, living conditions, infrastructure, and consumer satisfaction. * the dirtiest city in all of Georgia is Atlanta, 27th on the list of top 150 dirtiest cities in the country" -- Other GA cities who "made he list:": Savannah - 88, Columbus - 121, Augusta - 122... Macon wasn't mentioned.. Whether 1st or last on this list is not something to brag about,,,

---
Here's another list that id=s definitely nothing to wanna be on: Highest share of homes with signs of mice pr rats in the last 12 months: Boston, MS -1, Philadelphia, PA - 2, Baltimore, MD - 3, Minneapolis and St Paul, MN - tie for 4th. I find it interesting.. though not surprising... that the 5 worst cities for rat infestation are DemocRAT run cities.

Online headline/story: "Affordable housing challenge puts local control issue in the spotlight * local governments oppose state laws that would preempt local regulation of zoning, building designs and control over the construction of build-to-rent projects." -- Yes! Local government regulations do strangle construction! Last year a Columbus, GA Kids and family organization wanted to build a new 1,600 sq ft "clubhouse" on City owned property, and when put out to bid, the cost came out at $200-$225 a square ft ( with zero property costs). Part of that included a $16,500.00 soil test required by the City (when. $100.00.. or less.. "perc" test would tell all needed about drainage. At the same time, a new home in a newer North Columbus neighborhood was on the market for $140.00 a sq ft... and that included purchasing the land it was built on. Yes, government regulations and restrictions were the culprits.... Oh!...the project was put on hold.. canceled for now...

WRBL-TV3 story: "COLUMBUS, Ga. ( WRBL ) — The Columbus Police Department is holding a five-week-long “Pastor’s Academy” course. * The Columbus Police Department says the course is “designed to provide faith-based leaders with an understanding about various police functions.” * Attendants may be able to interact with department officers, command staff and participate in ride-alongs. * According to a press release, participants will learn about these topics:
Recruitment
Crime prevention
Investigation and patrol functions
Support services
Crime analysis
Office of professional standards

This may be the best community relations idea in decades.. if pastors can reach their communities from the pulpit with a positive message of co-operation with law enforcement, perhaps law abiding citizens can regain control of their neighborhoods.

Online headline: 'Georgia AG Carr calls on Congress to allow cellphone jamming in state prisons" -- Well, I'll be... this is exactly what I suggested in my blog...either Jam them, or have a localized "ping" system to locate any cellphones that are active in the cell blocks so they could be confiscated

---
WSB-TV2 Atlanta GA Headline: "Columbus, GA * Gunman forces Georgia motel employee and customer into room to rob them, police say * By WSBTV.com News Staff" -- It was a strange situation.. at a minimum... but thought it was stranger that I found this in an Atlanta media story rather than a Columbus, GA one...

---
It makes sense... unfortunately... As if Biden's lawyers finding classified documents in his Delaware home wasn't bad enough, now the FBI has found notebooks with classified info notes in the same house. This is a real CRIME!

---
Online headline/story: "Concerns over prayer breakfast lead Congress to take it over * Concerns over prayer breakfast lead Congress to take it over" -- Hmmm.... Congress is failing to keep church and state separated.... let it remain as it has been..

---
Online :headLIE": "Manchin sees himself as shuttle diplomat from Democrats to McCarthy" -- "diplomat"? No way! an immoral manipulator or opportunist.. but NOT a DIPLOMAT! In order to redeem himself, he needs to change parties...

From the "Quick! Damage CONTROL!" department - Online story: "Rep. Steven Horsford, D-Nev., the chair of the Congressional Black Caucus, said in an appearance Sunday on MSNBC that Nichols’ parents had accepted his invitation to attend the State of the Union. * “Earlier today, I spoke to the family of Tyre Nichols on behalf of the Congressional Black Caucus to first extend our condolences to them, to let them know that we stand with them, to ask them what they want from us in this moment, to honor the legacy of their son and to extend an invitation to them to be our guest at the State of the Union on February 7 so that we can make sure that this issue of police culture, culture of policing, which, unfortunately in this country, has now contributed to countless deaths,” Horsford said." -- Good grief! The attack on Tyre Nichols has put the Democratic Party in a tizzy.. they can't blame President Trump or any other Republicans, or even the KKK for what happened in Memphis, TN

Online headline: "DOJ 'actively working' to brief senators on Biden and Trump classified documents" -- Whoa! What are the Las Vegas odds on an unbiased presentation of the truth being given?

---
Online headline: "China's communists don't have food, so now they want to control ours" -- Hmmm... this is a few days late and a lot of dollars short! CHINA already controls Smithfield Meats which is the largest meat processor in the world...and the "perfect" way to mix in their  "wet market meat" into ground sausage and other meat products to be sent around the world!
