SPOILER ALERT! SPECIAL ALERT! ...To all who feel that it's not news until they read it in the Columbus, GA Ledger-Enquirer... as predicted, Mission Accomplished! How 'bout them DAWGS! Kirby Smart, as head coach.. Stetson Bennett IV, and the UGA Bulldawgs did it! National Champions... AGAIN! And they LEFT NO DOUBT! 65 to 7... and it wasn't even that close! Oh! ...and that famous Chines Fortune Cookie nugget is true... Happy Bulldawg wife.. HAPPY LIFE!

---
Stetson Bennett IV owes Kirby Smart EVERYTHING! Think about it.. Kirby Smart recruited... and landed... top QBs from coast-to-coast, yet recognized what a walk-on player brought to his team... and gave him a shot at it.

---
After Georgia took the starters out, one of the announcers commented that the "backups" we're still playing with intensity... "backups"? Hey Kirk Herbstreit ...... they aren't "backups".. they are next year's true RED WAVE!

---
Georgia winning was great, but if the NCAA doesn't learn from this game that a 12 team playoff system is a bad .. very bad idea, then TCU's season was in vain. Can you imagine how many points GA could have scored against a #12 seeded Cinderella team having a miracle run?

---
Considering the outcome of the college football playoffs, I think Lee Corso had the worst record (0-3) in the country. Bet he doesn't bet against the GA Bulldawgs next year!

---
Online headline: "Military installations, ships named after Confederates begin renaming process" --Hmmm.. no disrespect for Colonel Hal Moore.. but it'll be a cold.. a VERY cold day in history before most longtime residents and military retirees in the hometown of Ft Benning will ever not recall or refer to Ft Benning as Ft Benning.

---
Online headline: "Alabama woman who joined ISIS hoping to be allowed back in the US" -- So she now says she regrets becoming radicalized but... but how's she ever going to convince anyone that she's still not indoctrinated, nor won't just organize a "terrorist cell"?

---
Online headline: "California National Guard put fighter jet on alert in March 2020 for 'possible domestic mission':" -- Hmmm.... Must be something in the california water supply! This General wanted to use a jet for a shopping trip; Gov. Newsom went out to an expensive restaurant restaurant despite his own rules; and PeLOUSY went to her hair salon during lockdown and refused to wear a mask while there.

Online headline/story: "Texas Republican snubbed by Biden during border visit says White House explanation 'insulting' * Texas Republican Rep. Tony Gonzales of El Paso was snubbed by the White House on Biden's visit to his district which covers a large swath of the southern border. * A White House spokesperson told Fox News Digital that the snub of Gonzales was "due to space constraints." -- "due to space constraints"? Good grief! Resident Biden has taken the gates down so any illegal can cross into El Paso, but then says "there's no room in 'the inn' " for a Republican Congressperson to FROM El Paso to come there.. Sounds like the White House "handlers" not only "sanitized" the streets of El Paso of illegal alien encampments, but also sanitized El Paso citizens from seeing their duly elected Congressman..

---
The American citizens living in El Paso ought to recall their Democratic Party Mayor.. recall him for allowing Biden's advance team to cover up the evidence of the illegal aliens blight on the streets of El Paso before MSM's reporters and cameras got there.

---
Texas Governor Abbott spoke about his conversation with Biden Sunday, but didn't go far enough.. He said he told Biden things he could do based on laws already enacted .. what Abbott didn't say is Biden has a sworn an oath obligating him to enforce those existing laws ..

---
Online headline/story: "IRS on the chopping block on first day of legislative work under Speaker McCarthy * Bill would claw back $72 billion, 90% of the $80 billion boost it received last year" -- The folly of it all is that the people Resident Biden says he wanted to target already have even BETTER accountants who KNOW all the LEGAL WAYS to minimize their clients taxes.

---
Can you believe that lawsuits are being prepared to make student athletes be considered "employees" and getting paid as such... Good grief! that would make all scholarship receivers at schools "employees" and all students, athletes or not, who received scholarship will have to report all the revenue produced as taxable income... You know, this could lead to the revocation of colleges 501 (c) 3 status, and donations to schools for scholarships no longer deductible for donors which would cause even more revue streams drying up.

From the "let the in-fighting begin" department - Online headline/story: "Colorado cancels plans to send migrants to NYC, Chicago amid outcry from Democratic mayors *
Lori Lightfoot of Chicago and Eric Adams of New York City demanded an end to the program * "We have seen your statements in the media that you are simply accommodating the wishes of migrants to come to cities like New York City and Chicago," the pair wrote. "However, you are sending migrants and families to New York City and Chicago that do not have any ties, family members or community networks to welcome them." -- Chicago and NYC Mayors are now claiming that their cities don't have "community networks" to welcome them..Hmmm Well Government 2022 Census data says Shicago has almost 29% Hispanic/Latino population and NYC has 29% as well!

Online headline: "Goldman Sachs plans to lay off more than 3,000 employees this week, a source familiar with the matter said. However, the firm will still continue to strategically hire." -- Hmmmm.... wonder how many jobs Goldman Sachs wouldn't have had to layoff if it's chairman, board members and executives had not donated so much to Biden's and other Democrats' elections?

---
Online headline: "Twitter lashes out at Prince Harry: ‘Bitter, delusional, paranoid, family-trashing halfwit’" -- "halfwit"? Doesn't this give Harry more credit than he deserves?

---
Online headline: "More than 7,000 nurses at New York City's Mount Sinai Hospital and Montefiore are on strike Monday after union reps walked from the table despite Gov. Kathy Hochul's call to settle." -- Hmmm... the signs the nurse/protesters carried said, "Better Care for Patients"... "Better Care for Patients"? Shouldn't it be the patients and their families rather than the nurses on strike?

---
Online headline: "Gavin Newsom takes hits from Twitter after heralding California as the 'true freedom state' -- Hmmmm... the "True Freedom State"? Maybe for criminals!

A week or so ago, I passed along a news item in which a Fairfax County, VA high school administration intentionally withheld SAT/National Merit Scholar Award notification to winning students until after the early college application period ended. These students were denied being able to list the awards on their applications and for scholarship considerations because school officials felt it would be unfair to non-winners. I thought the parents of these winning students should sue for the monetary loss they would have to absorb because their children were not offered deserved scholarships to the schools they want to attend. Yesterday, I learned that 2 other Fairfax County, VA high schools did the same thing to their award winning students.. This had to be collusion in Fairfax County, and those school administrators and involved official should fired and denied their pensions!

From the "Bias? What bias? department - Online headline/story: "Georgia special grand jury finishes 2020 election probe * The end of the special grand jury moves the investigation one step closer to possible criminal charges against Trump and others." -- "one step closer to possible criminal charges against Trump and others."? "possible criminal charges"? Good grief! "possible charges?" And it's just as possible.. and probably more probable no charges will come out of it... and even MORE PROBABLE no convictions will come out of it, too!

---
From the "Hi-yo, Silver!" department - Online headline/story: "Taqueria robber shot dead by diner in Texas * The identity of a customer who fatally shot a masked robber inside a Houston taqueria and returned the stolen money to terrified diners remained a mystery Sunday as police released a surveillance image of him and requested he come forward for questioning." -- Hmmm... "Who was that "unmasked" man! Did he leave a silver bullet!

---
Online "headLIE": "Biden makes 1st trip to border since taking office" -- Well.. even worse than a "headLIE", it's a "half-truth" ... Actually it's his first visit to our Southern Border in the 50 years he's been an elected government official .. period...

---
From the " if it's good for the goose, it's good for the gander" department -- Online headline/story: "DOJ taps Trump-appointed attorney to investigate classified documents found at Biden think tank * Trump allies are already making comparisons to the Mar-a-Lago documents * John Lausch, the U.S. Attorney for the Northern District of Illinois, was appointed by former President Donald Trump in November 2017. Lausch will investigate the discovery of a batch of documents found at the offices of the Penn Biden Center, some of which were marked classified * Lawyers for Biden said they immediately notified the National Archives about the documents, dated from Biden's time as vice president, once they were discovered." -- Well, well, well.. You know.. the White House "handlers and the DNC have been looking for a "safe" way to ease Resident Biden out of the 2024 picture... and they have found it and are gonna exploit it!
