There are 21 Republicans that have no grasp of reality... They want a hard-nose Speaker, but if they had one with the slim majority the House has now, nothing would get done. Those 21 need to walk back their rhetoric and egos and show voters they can get things done and campaign on that in 2024 and hope to get a 20 to 30...or more... majority in the House and win the White House. As far as the Senate goes, I don't see much change, even with a small majority, as long as McConnell is calling the shots.

City leaders have now listened to three proposals to build a new jail that could cost millions of dollars. * An assessment conducted in 2022 showed the jail also had plumbing failures, ceilings, floors and walls all needed replacing and electronic security needed to be upgraded for the safety of deputies and inmates." -- Good grief!
