President Trump focused on the damage a male
volleyball player inflicted by "spiking" a volleyball into a girls
face causing a career ending injury. What you may not know is that while a
men's volleyball net is 8' off the floor, a woman's volleyball net is only
7'4" off the floor and this gives men a terrific advantage in angle and
leverage over female players, especially at "the net". It's sorta
like letting men tee off from the front GOLD tee markers on a golf hole while
the women hit from the back tees.
For comparison's sake, I'm 6'6" male, and
standing at a volleyball net for women, I can stick my hands nearly a foot
above the net without jumping. This would be a great advantage on defense as
well as offense.
