Synovus...the Bank of Here?  What does this actually mean? Columbus Bank & Trust was founded here in Columbus, GA in 1888, but changed it’s name in 2010. Was looking at the shareholder ballot we got to vote on new Directors.. and I didn't recognize one Columbus, GA name of the 11 proffered.

And to my knowledge, Marriott was not paying a proper fee to Columbus GA then.

Am shocked at how certain people are that Harris County' head of the Chamber of Commerce, State Rep Vance Smith,  was fired for voting against the new "Tort Reform Bill"! His "day job" was to recruit new businesses and Tort Reform would be a good tool to recruit new businesses, plus... plus it would also help get insurance rates down for existing businesses and average Harris County citizens. Wonder where our Columbus GA  Chamber of Commerce stands on this?

Yesterday, President Trump signed an Executive Order to make "proof of American citizenship a prerequisite  to vote in Federal Elections (President-House-Senate races). What I didn't know was on 36 states require it now, and the other 14 state plus Washington, DC do not.. and those 15 entities are all BLUE STATES. Since 36 states already agree with sanity, and 38 states are required to add a new Constitutional Amendment, now might be a great time to have a Constitutional Conference.
