I've discussed with Columbus Councilors the excessive transaction fees charged on paying Columbus GA taxes online (3% + ) by debit or credit card, but notice that tickets at Synovus Park for the Clingstone Ticket Packages is a flat rate $5.00. I assume the same processing company is collecting the fees, so why are online taxpayers being exploited so much more than Synovus Park ticket buyers! Council needs to correct this INJUSTICE!!!

Now, for some good news around Columbus.. remember those obnoxious 4 “Swooping Red Arrows” wrongly built down in the Lakebottom Historic District in Dinglewood Park on 13t Street? Those “Swooping Red Arrows” on which directions to businesses were to be added (making them non-compliant “SIGNAGE”)? Well.. they are finally GONE.. I hope they were brought down because such extreme deterioration had crept in… well.. termites might have brought them down….

Also.. that wall of concrete sound and privacy barriers on Whittlesey BLVD protecting the Fox Chapel neighborhood have FINALLY been repaired before they collapsed and endangered the homes behind them… Guess the “rumors” that “I-see-a-nothing” Hugley will be running for Mayor in 2026 are accurate and suddenly he can see the things that need to be seen.
