You know when involved in a multi-man arrest of an armed "resisting arresting perp", and a shot is fired,  agents with pulled weapons fire in auto response as they don't know whether it was another agent responding to something the "perp" did, nor even if it was the perp that fired and shot an agent.. In either case, if an armed "perp" initiates confrontation, whether it's with a vehicle or other weapon, it's ON THE PERP!

As for the shooting... the killing...  of Nurse Alex Petti, one special fact in indisputable... Petti was not protesting... he was aggressively contacting federal agents....aggressively interfering with law enforcement officers doing their sworn duties… and there's no room for any other interpretation!
