We may have also may have gotten a  “SNOW JOB”!  Wow! I'm guessing Shirley Winston Park off Steam Mill Road has become the latest shooting range in Columbus.. After a scary incident last year, 2026 starts out there with another BIG BANG Sunday night...two more people shot...I wondered how close this was to Mayoral candidate "I-see-a-nothing" Hugley" home this was so I did some research... It's definitely out of visual range but could be within earshot range. But I found something interesting... we have an Isaiah Hugley, Jr. living in town, too! I don't know what he does, but he must be doing well, as  he's been real active in buying residential property, so I checked him out. Couldn't find anything on Google, but In 2023, he bought a lot in an older, very influential  North Columbus community, but then in 2024, he bought a brand new house in another NEW bustling North Columbus development.. but here in 2026, he still owns the first property.. sorta strange to me .. hmm.. maybe he has "reserved" it for someone else... maybe his mom & dad as a post-election move? Anybody know anything about Junior?

Interesting,.. in an interview with “totally unbiased CEL publisher Wane Hailes .. yeah, right,,, back in October, “I-see-a-nothing” Hugley stated DEFINITIVELY that “at a time when out city and nation face critical challenges, experience isn’t just valuable, it’s ESSENTIAL. We cannot afford leadership that requires on-the-job-training!”. One month later Columbus G Mayor Skippy the POO called off the hunt for Hugley’s replacement as City Manager.. hmmm … how can anyone not  read into this that neither Hugley nor Skippy feel Deputy City Manager Pam Hodge is  prepared, and be the one to take over the City Manager’s job? Then, Skippy just confirmed it by replacing retiring Columbus GA H.R Director Heather Hollowell with a new director from Americus, GA.. Americus is a town of about 17,000 coming into a City of 200,000 with over 3,000 City employees. Where are on-the-job-trained Columbus GA employees that KNOW where all the skeletons are buried in HR and the City Manager’s office?

You know… it wasn’t that long ago when our City employee level was between 2,200 & 2,300… why are we over 3,000 now?

Can you believe this headline... well, to be truthful..."headLIE": "Georgia hit by higher power bills, less clean energy jobs one year into Trump's term" -- You know, I don't recall President TRUMP ever serving on the PSC or GA Power Co's Board lof Directors... ever! What I do recall is not seeing "clean energy" hawks delivering lower energy costs!

From the "just reward" department -  Hope the I.C.E. agents invoked some revenge on the protesters on Sunday in Minnesota .. With weather wind-chill factor going down into the negative sub-zero range, ICE could let their agents take a day off..  but let their vehicles "cruise" the areas so "protest apps" report ICE activities in those areas, and protesters show up looking for ICE agent but only find icy conditions .
