After reading the Gallop Poll for the "Most Admired" men/women, I have to conclude that Gallop needs to consult with the BCS committee on coming up with a formula that will provide a truer result of who's "Number 1". BTW, if anyone on this e-mail list was polled by Gallop, please respond with that info. Surely, 'we' represent some portion of the American political mix.

Frank Pratt, a Republican State Representative in Arizona was severely beaten and bound unconscious on Christmas Day while checking on his business. The article does not mention his political alignment, nor does it speculate on whether this was a 'hate crime'. Nah... there' s no political bias in reporting.

In the L-E's "Top 10 local stories for 2010", the L-E quotes Edward DuBose for calling Tony Adam's firing a "public lynching". No one expected anything less from the hateful DuBose, but what was worse was than Mimi Woodson said the same thing as a member of Council, and she got re-elected.

If the Federal Government is so set, so adamant, in keeping a separation of "church and state", why does the Federal Government shut down its services on Saturdays and Sundays? Both of these days are used as days of worship for the majority of religions, and the Federal Government acknowledging such is in its own way supporting these religions.

SunTrust in UPtown would get a lot better positive public response if it flashed the current time and temperature on its light board rather than a stale ad that it has been running forever (seems like it, anyway).

Environmentalists continue to beat themselves upside their heads! If it's a bit warmer today, they clamor "global warming", and if we have a blizzard, they clamor "global warming".

potUS Imam-a says he's going to spend more time out of Washington than he has regardless of the fact he has spent more time out of Washington than eith POTUS Clinton or POTUS "W". Of course, his spending more time out of Washington will be good for the economy as when he's in Washington, he's more interested in spending too much money we do not have.

PFC Bradley Manning is the liberals dream-come-true poster child! He's a homosexual AND a whistle-blower (no pun intended) for stealing state and military secrets and sending them to WikiLeaks. Now here's a great example of why we 'should have asked' and why he 'shouldn't have told'.

From the 'clarification needed' department: "Caleb King, who started most of the time he was available this season, is not available for Friday’s Liberty Bowl game against UCF, having been suspended for missing too many academic meetings. " -- "missing too many academic meetings"....is this what we used to call 'skipping classes' or is it something else?
