L-E "correction": "CORRECTION A story on page A16 in Saturday’s Ledger-Enquirer about the Census Bureau preparing to release new reapportionment figures for the House of Representatives gave the wrong number of electors in the Electoral College. There are 538." -- Why does this matter? There are 100 for Senators which are assigned 2 per state, 435 for the House Representatives which change according to Census numbers, and 3 given to Washington, D.C. by a DUMB&DUMBERat Congress proposed 23rd Amendment, and will not change. The only thing effected by the Census is which states will get more and less House Representatives.

The irony of any "ethics reform" within any body of elected (or for that matter professions requiring certain certifications) is that no group will honestly monitor itself because everyone has 'a closet' , and wants to make sure their own rears are covered.

So Dusty Nix has been chastised by his spouse for telling 'half truths' (as has been described as 'the blackest of all lies"). May he learn that an after-the-fact 'correction/apology' does not clear up the mess he created, and it will cast doubt on his other past and future ramblings.

Why is that in spite that seemingly all the terror acts, and all the captured groups who are thwarted from completing a planned act of terrorism are Muslim linked, we cannot 'profile' Muslim's in airports?
