Online headline/story: "Bill Clinton Makes Fun Of Allen West's 'Communist' Comments * "This is not the 1950s!" Clinton said. "At least Joe McCarthy could skate on the premise that there were still one or two living communists walking around. Nobody’s seen a communist in over a decade!" -- Sorta like not being able to see the forest because you're too close to the trees....

Online headline: "Justice Department To Monitor Wisconsin Recalls" -- Oh, yeah! Who's going to be monitoring the Eric Holder and the Justice Department!
---
Online headline: "TSA Workers Fired, Suspended For Violating Screening Protocol " -- Apparently, treating people like human beings is against protocol.

According to an elated online news source, the Green Bay Packers players are against Scott Walker in the Wisconsin recall election. DOH... just another bunch of union thugs..

Online headline: "Obama Campaign Debuts First Nationwide TV Ad Featuring Sarah Jessica Parker" -- Well, did you expect potUS Arpege to make a campaign ad featuring his record?
---
Online headline: "New Study Shows We Are Overworked and Overwhelmed" -- Hmmm, must have been a survey of conservative taxpaying small business owners.

L-E headline: "Can MCSD afford John Phillips’ price? * Two board members say interim costs too much with cuts, furloughs " -- Board members who support bringing Phillips back in need to be pilloried in the passing lane of J R Allen Parkway during rush hour. Phillips went so far as to circumvent the board and hired himself a vice-superintendent at half his salary so he could tale more time out of town hunting. Track down that guy and bring him in and save half of Phillips' salary if there is no one remotely qualified within the MCSD system. Of course, that's another issue of why don't we have an abundance of qualified persons in the current administration?

Liberal's L-E "soundoff": "If Mitt Romney gets elected president, the very first day he’s going to wave his magic wand and everyone is going to work. If you believe that, you’ll believe anything. " -- Well, what do you expect from someone who will vote for potUS Arpege, and his same promises...AGAIN..

L-E's ": Thought for Today":, “What is objectionable, what is dangerous, about extremists is not that they are extreme, but that they are intolerant. The evil is not what they say about their cause, but what they say about their opponents.” — Robert F. Kennedy, U.S. senator (1925-1968). " -- Can anyone not see the images of potUS Arpege, Pelosi, Reid, Sharpton, Jackson (both Jesse and Sheila Jackson Lee of Texas), and Wright as these words are processed?
---
L-E story: "WASHINGTON — President Barack Obama sought to take advantage Monday of the fundraising prowess of former President Bill Clinton, the most reliable deliverer of Democratic dollars, despite their history of testy relations and differences on campaign tactics. " -- potUS Arpege better not just be worried about his back, he should be worried that most of those checks may have "Hillary" written on the fronts of them.
---
L-E story: "VANCOUVER, British Columbia — Canadian conservation officers have euthanized a black bear that ate the remains of a convicted murderer. " -- Whatta waste of talent! Why didn't the Canadians just rent the bear out to US prisons to be housed in such prisons " death row ".

L-E story: "ATLANTA — A state law aimed at making the budget process more transparent has so far met with mixed success, according to a report by Morris News Service. * Morris News Service reported Sunday that, under the law, any local government with a budget totaling more than $1 million must submit copies of their taxes and expenses to the University of Georgia’s Carl Vin-son Institute of Government. Most governments have until the end of June to comply with the law. * So far 117 of 535 cities have submitted the records, while 76 of 159 counties and 169 of 180 school districts are in compliance, according to Morris News Service. Some of those not complying could be exempt because their budgets are too small. * “We don’t mind providing the information, but we think it’s come to the point where the state government doesn’t have anything better to do other than asking local governments to submit information,” said Carter Crawford, city manager in Sylvania. “It’s just aggravating. It takes time away from duties that we can do elsewhere .” -- What's wrong with a central reporting/evaluation site? This info should not only be easy to compile by every local form of government, but to com[plain about it is a 'red flag' that needs to be delved into.

A trip down Veterans Parkway beautification project reveals that even after replacing trees noted as 'dead' from last year, there are 19 dead/dying ones as of yesterday. Here's a process that needs careful examination, and obviously some controls on accountability of DOT contractors.

L-E online update story: "Columbus police are investigating the reported theft of $3,900 worth of jewelry from an apartment on St. Mary's Road. * According to the police report, entry was made through a door which suffered $100 worth of damage. * The crime occurred Sunday between 1:15 p.m. and 9:55 p.m." -- Excuse my skepticism, but if I lived in a St Mary's Rd apartment, and had $3,900.00 dollars worth of jewelry, I'd never leave home without wearing it...and my .40 Cal. Glock.

L-E's "Quotable": "Every educated person is a future enemy." - Martin Bormann, German military officer (1900-1945) -- I wondered where the DIM&DUMBERat education plan came from... now we know.

Every tribute to Bill Turner has been earned. He is even a life-long member of the BisKit BoyS....a group started around the basis of "Do the right thing because it is the right thing to do...at the time." -- He expressed a priceless aspect at thr presentation of 'The BisKit BoyS Inspirational Attitde Award' back in the early 90s. He said it was the first award he'd received that someone didn't expect a big check. When you think about that, it should sadden us, and we can pray that he's received many more since then. This is not making light of the good he has done with his life and money; it's just to remind us of his true servant leadership.
