From a fellow BCer - Bumper sticker of the Week: --- The latest from barackobama.com: "Today, Mitt Romney launched a shameless attack on the President, taking part of a statement he had made earlier about getting our economy back on track, and twisting it completely out of context * The President said that while we still have more work to do in the private sector, it's doing fine compared to the public sector.". -- potUS Arpege just doesn't get it! The public sector can only do 'fine' WHEN the private sector IS doing 'fine +'. --- Another online pick up: You gotta like this guy... --- There's a new poll out saying 47% of Americans (like they checked IDs?) 'trust' potUS Arpege. While the obvious fact is that 53% declined to say they 'trust' him, the number who claim to 'trust' him is probably skewed. Shoot, I'd probably say I 'trust' him; I trust him to continue to destroy America if he gets re-elected. --- Gitmo put in a $750,000.00 soccer field for the terrorists earlier, but has also added cable-TV. Hmmmm, maybe the reports of terrorist being tortured by Sesame Street music is true. --- L-E headline/story: "CORONER THROWER BOUNCED FROM RACE * Elections board disqualifies incumbent after check for his qualifying fee bounces * “We have to pay them by law pretty much immediately,” Van Doorn said of the party’s passing on qualifying fees to elections workers. * “We had plenty of money to pay his qualifying fee as well as everybody else’s, so we went ahead and did that.” * Had the Throwers called him, the issue would have ended there, he said: “Had they just called us and said, ‘We had a little problem; we can immediately replace it,’ no one would have been the wiser.” -- "no one would have been the wiser"? Is this not the disease of the DIM&DUMBERat Party? Now, since the D&D Party is a private party, and since the fee had been paid by it to the Board of Elections, what business is it of the B of E to consider it is the victim of a bad check? --- L-E picture: Free Syrian Army members train on the outskirts of Idlib, Syria on Thursday. -- For their next lesson, they learn how to 'roll over and play suicide bomber'. --- L-E headline: "U.S. general apologizes for Afghan deaths " -- Help! potUS Arpege has been Corrupter-in-Chief too long and either it's rubbing off on our generals OR potUS Arpege has replaced our generals with Hollywood actores who have 'played one' on TV or in a movie. --- L-E headline: "Obama prods Europe to fix economies * Prolonged crisis could worsen problems for U.S., other countries" -- "prods"? How do you 'prod' countries that are sulking because you haven't apologized and bailed them to them recently? --- L-E story: "WASHINGTON — Members of the House of Representatives have voted to protect their own expense accounts from budget cuts. * The bipartisan 307-102 vote came on a $3.3 billion measure to fund congressional operations." -- Guess it doesn't matter which side of the aisle Congressperson sit on, pretty much all of them don't want government to get into their personal wallets. --- L-E story: "CEDARTOWN, Ga. — Authorities say two teenagers have been arrested in the stabbing death of a 27-year-old woman who was attempting to deliver pizza in suburban Atlanta. * The Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports that 18-yearold Cadedra L. Cook and a 15 year old were arrested Friday after a short foot chase. * Thompson Street in Cedartown. " -- Maybe it's time for our schools to concentrate on teaching the true value of life; it is not the cost of a pizza. --- L-E story: "ATLANTA — Megachurch pastor and televangelist Creflo Dollar — who has drawn scrutiny for his flashy lifestyle and preaching that prosperity is good — was arrested early Friday after authorities say he slightly hurt his 15-yearold daughter in a fight at his metro Atlanta home. " -- It's a shame that this has happened, and it's a shame that it has become a national story, but it boils down to the personal lifestyle chosen by "Pastor" Dollar. He has chosen to feed his ego rather than the masses. --- L-E story: "Gov. Nathan Deal has frozen Georgia’s gas tax, preventing an increase that would have kicked in July 1. " -- Why all the bother to stop a specific tax increase on a certain product, when the state politicians are ganging up to promote raising taxes another 1 cent per dollar on everything we by? Vote a resounding "NO" on the T-SPLOST on July 31st! ---
