The Charter Review amendments on the ballot... I'm OK with the first five, but plan the vote "NO" on the second one, but I am vehemently opposed to the 6th one. Who is so important on the City's employment list, that he/she would be involved in the elected responsibility of another county/ town/state while performing his/her job here in Columbus? The amendment most needed is one requiring all city employees live in Columbus/Muscogee County so they have 'skin-in-the-game'.

The real need in a new school superintendent is a person not ending his/her career here in 3 or 4 years. How about finding someone in his/her early forties who can be here long enough for his/her ideas/programs to come to fruition.
