Whether they vote early or wait until election day, it's nice to know that potUS Oblunderman's and his wife's votes are being cast in Illinois rather than a state where their votes might make a difference in that state's outcome.

---

It's disheartening to learn that a Congressman, Jesse Jackson, Jr. D&D-Illinois, is under federal investigation... it should be Jesse Jackson, Sr. who shouls have been under federal investigation.

---

Online headline: "Rolling Stones To Tour For 50th Anniversary" -- 50 years... think about that. Usually when you hear a song from the 60's, you probably think the singers/band has died sometime back. The Stones, on the other hand, must have flashbacks of crowds of fans who are now dead..of natural causes.

---

Online headline: "Tata Nano: $3,000 Car Coming To U.S." -- I've saw a lawnmower that cost twice that... it probably has the same engine.

---

Online headline: "Bobby Knight auctioning off championship rings, Olympic gold medal" -- Yeah, and he'll probably throw them at the auction winners.

---

The problem with 'compromise', whether it be in legislative acts or your personal/business life is that compromise basically means that something good is taken from the better aspect, and the worse aspect gains ground. In the long run, no one really benefits.

---

Is a couple of paragraphs on the editorial page the best the L-E can do in highlighting the life of Weezie Butler? Maybe if she ran a barbeque joint her death might have made the front page.

---

L-E headline/story: "Morgan Stanly facing discrimination lawsuit * New York - Morgan Stanley is being accused of discriminating against black homeowners and violating federal civil rights laws by providing strong incentives to a subprime lender to originate mortgages that were likely to go unrepaid." - Huh? Congress, in fact a DIM&DUMBERat majority Congress, and two different D&D presidents were responsible for coercing banks/mortgage companies to make such loans so more minority homeownership could be possible. How can a federal mandate become a federal civil rights issue?

---

The L-E "Foreclose Section"... and the beat (up) goes on....and on...and on.

---

This country would be better off if potUS Oblunderman could send his spinmeisters out in the Sunday TV news shows to highlight his accomplishments rather than to explain his lack of or actual actions.

---

Big Bird could make money on any network. Antique Roadshow, too. Stopping PBS government supplements is just right. Another no-brainer tax savings will be to revoke the charity designation of Move On.com.

---

Have you noticed that neither potUS Oblunderman, nor "don't mess with Joe", nor UN ambassador Susan Rice has asked the UN to step into Libya?

---

No wonder potUS Oblunderman doesn't have time to meet with his security advisors about Libya. He was booked on Letterman, Pimp with a limp, Yo, and Las Vegas.

---

potUS Oblunderman's spinmeisters are now trying to blame Benghazi on the Republican Congress. They are now saying security upgrades for embassies world-wide are being held up by Republicans. Truth, though, is that the State Department has over $2 Billion in its budget that potUS Oblunderman just hasn't released to be spent.
---

If loopholes are taken out of the IRS codes, potUS Oblunderman will not be able to afford to be president again. He would have to pay for all the perks now included in the president's pay package.

---

Romney will have a job after the election regardless of the outcome. If he wins, we've hired a great business executive at a rock bottom CEO salary. If he loses, potUS Oblunderman will have to hire him and Bain Capital to bail his administration out.

---

I do hope potUS Oblunderman asks Romney about his taxes, and I hope Romney shakes a fist full of checks in his face, and asks Oblunderman for a full refund because he hasn't gotten his money's worth.

---

Watch the skydive from space Sunday? I didn't watch it live, but 8,000,000 people did. Imagine what that will do to major events and the stranglehold the TV industry has on sports and such. College teams can sell out their stadii, and put their own televised version on YouTube which their non-attending alumni/fans. People will watch on smart phones, tablets and computer as will as Wi-Fi equipped TVs where ever they wish.

---

Early voting had started in Illinois. You have to wonder about how many times Tony Rezko has already voted for potUS Oblunderman.

---

Why are liberals upset at the accommodations given terrorists at Gitmo? Do liberals consider them 'guests' of the American people? In actuality, from what we've seen of mid-east Taliban camps and living quarters, Gitmo must seem like the Waldorf-Astoria in comparison.

---

400 trees were cut down in order to maneuver the space shuttle in Los Angeles. 400 California trees were sacrificed for a museum piece. California doesn't allow trees to be cut down in order to control fire conditions in old growth forests. California is messed up.... but you knew that.

---

How can we believe potUS Oblunderman would allow anyone but himself decide how the White House would deal with Benghazi? The only thing worse about him handling this or the "Beer Summit" would have been for him to assign those to Bleep-VeeP Robinette.

From a fellow BCer:

And another:

Thinking about Benghazi and the debate series.. have you noticed D&D FL Representative and head of DNC, Debbie Wasserman Schultz seems to have been 'muzzled' about speaking her opinion. I'd love for the country to hear her speak on both subjects... Of course, the Dumbnamic Duo ain't about to let that happen.

Online commentary: "KISS hero Gene Simmons spoke with NoiseCreep on Friday, Oct. 12 at the Las Vegas Rock ‘n’ Roll Fantasy Camp grand opening and told the magazine, “the country is so divided. I voted for President Obama last time, but I have to say I’m very disappointed in his job. He’s been a piss poor president as far as I’m concerned.”
--- It's amazing how clear entertainers can be when they sober up.
