Did you see the opening "prayer" the other night at the DNC Convention by Cynthia Hale?  She praised God for giving them wisdom (versus seeking HIS wisdom). Passage of the 15th Amendment (which granted the right to vote to black MEN) was passed in 1869 (ratified in 1870). 141 Republicans voted "YES". and Zero Republicans voted "NO".  On the other hand, ZERO Democrats  voted "YES",  39 voted "NO", and 7 wouldn't even cast a vote. BTW, Congressman Elijah Cummings, D-Maryland, was the ranking Democrat on the Committee that questioned FBI Director James Comey and found him truthful.

You know.. when Mayor TomLYINGson campaigned for re-election in 2014.. she promised to build a "roundabout" at the intersections of River Road/Bradley Park Drive/Cascade Road/Green Island Drive . Regardless of how ill-conceived it was, she said construction would start in the summer of 2014.. following the election.. though many redraws have been made (none will work due to the vast elevation changes between River Road/Bradley Park, and River Road/Green Island Drive), but the work still hasn't started.. and another school year traffic mess is about to start. Oh, there are better .. and cheaper to construct.. solutions available but they aren't "grand" enough for the GA DOT.
