Following up - there are 10 Jewish US Senators.. all are Democrats if you count Independent Bernie Sanders, and there are 19 Congresspersons who are Jewish, and 18 of those are Democrats, and the lone Jewish Republican Congressperson is from New York,. Jesse Jackson took to the DNC Convention stage and pontificated that the shooting of young black men has to stop.. I agree..especially on the streets of Chicago, St Louis, and Baltimore. There were a lot of "smug" people online and among the politically active in Columbus Wednesday following the school board runoff elections. Most comments were about "showing Frank Myers". Well, now that this has sunk in, what do those same people think about stifling any hope for change that will actually help the students get a better education? When status quo sets in, and stagnation rules, what has really changed within the system that cries out desperately for change?

In spite of the vicious campaign ads and the endorsement by Westmoreland,  Drew Ferguson basically only edged out Mike Crane in the Republican 3rd District Republican Primary runoff.  I guess Crane getting Cruz's endorsement a few days after Cruz destroyed himself at the RNC Convention is why Crane lost.
