For the second night in a row, I listened to Megyn Kelly's segment at the Convention for about 5 minutes and switched to C-SPAN. I wanted to listen to the scheduled speakers, not Kelly and her minions.

As much of an issue that's been made about the sorry condition of City trucks, it was much to my chagrin to have a City dump truck driving within half a car length of me going downhill on River Road... ..TWICE... in one trip. I turned right out of Mountainbrook heading south on River Road yesterday a shade after noon, and a white dump truck suddenly was on my tail. All I could see were the grill/bumper and headlights in my mirror. He stayed pretty much glued there until I could move to the right lane just past the traffic signal at Bradley Park Dr. The truck then sat on another cars tail until th Piggly Wiggly area of River Road, and then switched back to the lane I was in, and followed me all the way to Veterans at about half a car length. I was so glad that the traffic light there was green also, so I didn't have to come to a stop because I wasn't sure the driver would.. or could stop as well. After attaining my lane heading south on Veterans, said truck did pass me on the left at a higher than permitted speed (I was doing the limit).
