Online headline/story: "NYPD preps for 'inevitable' terrorist attack on US soil * James Waters, the head of the New York Police Department's Counterterrorism Bureau, believes a terrorist attack on American soil is bound to happen eventually. He says his job is to be ready for when that happens." -- Hey New York... Vote Trump!
---
Online story: "California's already strict gun laws will get even stricter next year thanks to new legislation that Gov. Jerry Brown signed into law on Friday. * The new laws put new restrictions on purchasing assault weapons, as well as further regulating the sale of ammunition in California." -- "new restrictions on purchasing assault weapons"? We can only presume the libs mean hunting rifles that have a look, though not capabilities, of military weapons... since those already have bans/restrictions out the yin-yang.
---
Instant repeat - Online story: "California's already strict gun laws will get even stricter next year thanks to new legislation that Gov. Jerry Brown signed into law on Friday. * But Brown vetoed five other gun control bills that he thought were overly regulative. One would've expanded the use of restraining orders to take guns away from people considered a danger to themselves and others." -- "vetoed.. the use of restraining orders to take guns away from people considered a danger to themselves and others"? This is scary! Scary that the majority of two elected bodies would basically become "thought police", and the rest of the country has had to depend on Moonbeam Brown to have common sense to veto such action. Hac=ving a law like this on the books would stop no criminals, and law abiding citizens could be stripped of their rights by the agenda of any activist liberal judge.
---
CA Governor Brown may have a point we need to consider.. he says he'll build a wall around California if Trump wins.. I'm about sold on building one now.. not to keep people out, but to keep those CA loonies fenced IN!

From the "ever twisted liberal bias" department - Online headline/story: "Clinton's lead over Trump narrows * NEW YORK, July 1 (Reuters) - Democratic presidential hopeful Hillary Clinton's lead over Republican Donald Trump has dipped into the single digits among likely U.S. voters * Clinton had maintained a double-digit lead in the rolling poll since June 20, as she recovered from a brief boost in Trump's numbers in the wake of the mass shooting in Orlando, Florida, when he renewed a call for a ban on Muslim immigration" -- "lead over Trump narrows"? How about as the reality of Hillary sinks in, her fans are slowly abandoning her.. and TRUMP is GAINING!
From the above story: "Among likely voters, 43.9 percent now support Clinton, compared with 34.5 percent for Trump. Another 21.7 percent of likely voters wouldn't support either candidate." -- Since when do "likely voters" say they won't support either candidate.. and a poll still considers them "likely voters"? What is really revealed is that Reuters "likely voters database is heavily weighted for Democrats, and Democrats are no longer in love with Hillary.
---
Another from the ""ever twisted liberal bias" department - Online headline: "Report: Trump backpedaling on prior VP promise * May announce his VP pick before national convention" -- Good grief.. changing one's mind/ploy is now considered "backpedaling"? What does the mainscream media think about all the times Hillary has attempted to "remake" herself?
---
Online headline: "Here's who Kim Kardashian wants to win the election" -- Good grief.. of all the celebrities in the US, the opinion of Kim Kardashian.. well, ANY Kardashian, is the least desired I can think of at this moment.. No, I didn't look, and even if I did, I figure that you aren't anymore interested in knowing than I am..
---
From the "Kool-Aid is stronger than common sense in Liberalville" department - Online headline/story: "Biggest private coal producer warns of cutting 80 percent of workforce, head blames Obama policies * The Central Appalachian coal price benchmark is $40 a ton, or half its level from five years ago. Almost all of the biggest coal producers in the U.S. have declared bankruptcy in the past 18 months, including Peabody Energy Corp., Arch Coal Inc. and Alpha Natural Resources Inc * The move came just a day after the United Mine Workers of America said it would reject a proposed new labor deal with Murray. The existing contract expires at the end of this year." -- "the United Mine Workers said it would reject a proposed new labor law with Murray"? Talk about union leadership being screwed up in its political loyalty.. what reasonable person/organization would sacrifice ongoing jobs for its membership by supporting the persons who have caused the mess? Vote Trump!
---
Online story: "Attorney General Loretta Lynch said Friday that she will take a step back from the decision whether to charge anyone in the Hillary Clinton private email server probe. But a Justice Department spokeswoman quickly clarified her remarks, telling Yahoo News that top political appointees will remain involved in the investigation and that the attorney general will be “the ultimate decider.” -- Good grief.. there is no doubt that Lynch MUST recuse herself and a special prosecutor be named!

Hey, Columbus... Any one have an idea of how much money has been spent...wasted...on all the walk/don't walk traffic signals at all our intersections? I don't ever use the "buttons" nor "follow" the visuals.. my mother and grandmothers taught me how to cross a street safely when I was single digits in age, and the principles are still the same.."Look both ways.. twice.. then proceed/walk with caution, and if you have a bicycle, walk it across rather than ride it."
---
I have questions.. about the Clinton-Lynch runway meeting: How is it that Clinton knew who was on that government plane, and how is it that he could maneuver his plane close to it...much less hop off his and get on hers?
---
Did you hear ZERO-bama describe illegal aliens as "funny looking people"? Where's Hillary and her sidekick, Pocahontas, jumping down ZERO-bama's throat? Did you notice, too, that mainsceam media didn't blink an eye either?
---
Have you seen the political ads for a politician adding that he is a "conservative" Republican...it's an absolute shame we have to guess..or even question, the point of view for Republican candidates.
---
You know, the current RNC/GOP hierarchy has really dropped the ball. When someone mentions "Democrat" as a descriptive word for a political party designation, we KNOW how that candidate will act/vote..whether in Congress, local politics, or a Supreme/Appeals Court Democrat appointed judge, we KNOW how they will act.. We use to know that about Republicans..Sadly, as the many voter rejected Republican presidential candidates offered up by the RNC/GOP officials demonstrated, we can't depend on what too many Republicans will do if elected.
---
Hey..did you see the segment on "Masterbuilt" grills and smokers on Fox & Friends on Saturday AM? Another Columbus, GA company..Columbus has to be the 'Cookout Capital' of the WORLD! We're the home of not only Masterbuilt, but also "CharBroil" and Golden Foundry!

From the "spinmeisters are spreading rumors already" department - :Online story: "The possibility that Hillary Clinton won't face charges related to her use of a private email server during her time as secretary of state is getting media attention. * On Saturday, CNN, citing unnamed sources, reported Clinton isn't expected to be charged. * It's just the latest report to suggest the presumptive Democratic presidential nominee likely won't be prosecuted." -- Good grief.. the FBI spent three hours with Hillary on Saturday, and haven't probably even printed off a report, and the mainscream media is already second guessing the final report.. Tell you what.. if Hillary is not charged for her actions, then it's even more critical that we get out the vote for Trump.. it's not just the White House that needs flushing, it's the DOJ and FBI as well!
From about CNN stpry: "But Clinton has repeatedly said she hasn't broken the law." -- Good grief.. this actually confirms her guilt.. when has Hillary told the truth about anything?
---
Online story: "DUBAI, United Arab Emirates – A suicide bomber carried out an attack early on Monday near a U.S. diplomatic site in the western Saudi city of Jiddah, according to the Interior Ministry. * The ministry said the attacker detonated his suicide vest when security guards approached him near the parking lot of a hospital. The attacker died and two security men were wounded with minor injuries, according to the ministry statement, which was published by the state-run Saudi Press Agency. Some cars in the parking lot were damaged." -- Looks like even the Saudi's are displaying their true colors for our 4th of July celebration
---
Online story: "An Arizona couple’s Old West-style mobile shooting game will not be among the activities at a Fourth of July celebration in Phoenix Monday. * Pete and Valerie Fowler, of Prescott, said Prescott Pete’s Highfalutin Shooting Gallery was deemed inappropriate by the organizers of Fabulous Phoenix 4th. A letter from the City of Phoenix said the game wasn’t a good fit given current events and perceptions surrounding gun violence. * City of Phoenix Parks and Recreation spokesman Gregg Bach told the Prescott Daily Courier that it was a straightforward decision by the event’s organizers" -- Good grief.. save us Sheriff Joe! Bulldog these 1st Amendment rustlers and hogtie them to an ant hill!

There's an article in the L-E today with answers to questions from the two
MCSB District 1 runoff.. The incumbent, Green, must have been asleep for the
last 12 years as none of her concepts reflect what she says compared to what all
she hasn't done during her 12 years on the Board In fact, it seems Green has
more allegiance to state and federal government ideals than to the failing
students in district 1. Fortunately, there is a solution.. JoAnn Thomas-Brown is
the answer to the District 1 voters' question.
---
L-E headline: "CSU earns more than $400K in grants" -- Hmmm.. some $230K is
earmarked for 8 undergrads to work with faculty members of cyber security and
such, but some %170K is being applied "to research privacy management during the
next two years."... Huh... how private can it be if a public report will be made
showing the results of privacy management?

From the " Redd Foxx, as Fred G Sanford, would probably exclaim, "It's the
big one, Elizabeth, I'm coming to see you." department - The Columbus
Ledger-Enquirer ran a copy of the Declaration of Independence in its today's
edition... and didn't redact God's name.
---
The L-E ran this "guest commentary" piece in the 4th of July editions,
"What it means to be a citizen" by Allen C. Guelzo of the Philadelphia
Inquirer.. I've included the link to the full article, but Guelzo states he
cannot run for president even though both his parents are natural born American
citizens because he was actually born in another country.. How does this CRAP
get into any publication.. Of course he can run for president.. ask Mitt Romney
who was born in Mexico of natural American citizens. Shame on the Philadelphia
and Columbus, GA newspapers for propagandizing a lie! .... hmmm.. unless, of
course, he's lying about the citizenship of his parents...
---
From the "ain't that a hoot" department - The most patriotic, flag
waving ad run in the L-E on July 4th was for a car dealership that sells cars
form a Japanese manufacturer..
