Online "HEADLIE"/story: "This top economist has a radical plan to change the way Americans vote * Only 50% of the US voting age population turns out on election day. To help save US democracy Dambisa Moyo, a top economist and author of "Edge of Chaos", says that voters who are more engaged should have a larger vote. * The fact that the OECD report claims that this generation of Americans for the first time in the history of the United States will be less educated than the preceding generation means that we do need to do something quite aggressive I believe in order to get more voters to the ballot polls. * Discussing what sorts of factors would help us understand who should be voting and how voters should be voting, I believe that having a civics program where people really understand how the government functions and who they're voting for and what those people stand for. At the very bare minimum, a civics test"

--Good grief..the way people have voted .. and will vote, is "with their wallets.. obviously this economist should not be described as a "top economist" for not knowing this.. but she has "hit the nail on the head" .. she stated.. "this generation of Americans for the first time in the history of the United States will be less educated than the preceding generation means that we do need to do something quite aggressive". She even recommends some sort of "civics test".. WAIT A DANG MINUTE! She just brought up the FACT that this generation is less educated than their parents which explains a lot about the liberal-based education system, but she feels a "civics test" will help...NOT! Think about this.. Any "civics test" would be given by a government worker .. probably an educator, one who failed to get them as educated as well as the previous generation., and the "test" would probably be tainted with a liberal slant..if there needs to be a test given, it should be one based on:

A "yes" answer to any of these questions:
1 - Are you a citizen of the US?
2 - Are you working and paying taxes?
3 - Have you ever served in a US Military Branch?

And a "no" answer to all these questions:

1 - Have you ever been convicted of a violent crime and not pardoned?
2 - Have you ever committed fraud against our government?
3 - Have you ever accepted compensation for voting for a certain party or candidate?

We all pray for the employees and families of those shot/killed at the newspaper in Maryland, and that the shooter be quickly given due process and executed upon conviction, but mainscream media reports were anguished that the shooter used a shotgun rather than a "semi-automatic assault rifle". Mainscream media just doesn't understand that both only shoot when a person pulls the trigger for each shot.

Watching Rod Rosenstein answer questions in front of the House investigatory committee did not allay any feelings of mistrust that's been growing since Mueller started his investigation. His manner was not one that calmed concerns I feel as bout the leadership of what we must feel...we must know...is the connector of all Americans...conservatives and liberals alike....that justice will prevail in spite of who is in the White House. I'm sorry..all I could see was an incarnate figure of a weasel character that I remember from animated cartoons growing up.

From the "mean while, on the other side of the House" department - Online headline/story: "Trump blasts Strzok for ducking questions, Mueller over 'conflicts' * The president’s tweet comes after Strzok’s hours-long closed-door testimony before the House Judiciary Committee " -- You know.. as an employee of the government, he should answer every question to the best of his ability...failure to do so without claiming 5th Amendment protection, should result in his immediate dismissal from his job, and the investigation should be turned into a criminal investigation.

Today is Friday.. this past Monday, the MCSB OK'ed the MCSD'd $295 Million dollar budget.. and not one peep has appeared in the M/C L-E paper. That's $295 Million to handle the needs of less than 40,000 people (about 33,000 students and 6,000 employees) for 10 months.. versus the City budget of some $271 Million to care for the needs of some 200,000 people for 12 months. Don't tell me forensic audits won't help or are not justified.

Online story: "Democratic lawmakers and candidates are increasingly seeking the elimination of Immigration and Customs Enforcement as part of their suite of demands in D.C.'s heated border battle. " -- There are laws.. concerning treason... for people sworn to protect and honor our Constitution and borders.. they should be applied immediately to politicians not doing so.

In May, I announced my boycott of Nestle products because Nestle was entering a deal to distribute Starbuck's coffee, and Starbucks has already told me it doesn't want to do business with us Trump supporters. I took one for the ream by ending my lifelong relationship with "Butterfingers", and that I would stop buying Nestle's Purina cat food/products in the future.. After running out of my previous stored Purina ONE cat food, I bought a serious grain free, high protein brand for him (Sox).. He did not immediately "take to it" so I watched him Monday. Tuesday, and Wednesday, and knowing he had to really be hungry , my nearly 17 year old cat still had not embraced this offering.. Yesterday, I went and bought a sack of his favorite Purina ONE.. he sensed it as I walked in the kitchen, opened it, and poured a bowl full.. He dove into it like a at that hadn't eaten well in days.. Sox is nearly 17.. he won't be with us too much longer so I decided that he deserves to eat what he wants.. even if it's from Nestle.

On he other hand, I was at Sam's Club picking up coffee supplies and noticed that Coffeemate was a Nestle product.. I put it back and bought the Sam's house brand instead.. My wife enjoyed it, so Nestle really loses big time in he future. No more Butterfingers, Ralston cereals, or Coffeemate in our home.

Columbus, GA on the other hand has a population of about 200,000, and a 2019 Fiscal Budget of 271,000,000. That's about $1355.00 per person.. Do the math.. Forensic Audit.. anyone!

Looking at our runoff elections scheduled for July 24th, I'm continually looking at the two local races I can vote in.. Council Post 10 at large, and MCSB Post 2.. since I voted for none of the 4 people in the General Election, I've had to refocus on the people running.. In Council Post 10, I will vote for John House ( I would not have been disappointed had he won against the great man I supported) and Mike Edmondson in MCSB 2. Both are distanced from any conflict of interests from the City or School System, while both their opponents are puppets of their current business connections with these to taxing entities.

Online story: "Two justices on the Georgia Supreme Court are among 25 names on President Donald Trump’s list of possible replacements for Anthony Kennedy on the U.S. Supreme Court. * They have strong conservative credentials and are relatively young, meaning they could serve on the nation’s highest court for decades to come. * “If the question is whether they are exceedingly bright, exceedingly ethical, very hard-working and driven to do the best they can each and every day, that fits both of them,” said Sam Olens, the former state attorney general. “They also leave out their personal opinions when deciding cases and follow the law.”" -- "They also leave out their personal opinions when deciding cases and follow the law."? Well, technically, they should "follow the Constitution", but what we need is for Sam Olens to take this message and conduct a seminar for SC Justices, Breyer, Ginsburg, Kagan, and Sotomayor.

Got another e-mail from the Greater Columbus Chamber of Commerce this AM.. One of the items was this:

"What is Leadership Columbus?

Leadership Columbus is an official program of the Greater Columbus Georgia Chamber of Commerce. This is a collaborative effort between the Chamber and Leadership Columbus Alumni. Leadership Columbus has been building leaders in this community for over 30 years. Participants will be given the chance to develop an understanding of the challenges that face the Columbus region.

The program is designed to expose highly talented and motivated leaders to issues which will determine the future direction of the area. This will encourage initiative to address and solve these issues. Leadership Columbus will not attempt to create a consensus of opinions or promote any specific concern.

Class members will benefit from a wide variety of experiences along with the network of relationships between the classes.

The applicant must show a sincere commitment, be motivated and interested in the community and have the desire to increase his/her service in key leadership positions. The person must exhibit the ability and willingness to be involved in the learning process and must make a firm commitment to attend each session of Leadership Columbus program, as well as two years volunteer service with the Greater Columbus Georgia Chamber of Commerce.

For more information on Leadership Columbus or to apply please visit our website or contact Amy Bryan at 706-327-1566"

--Excuse me, but this just exemplifies why Amy Bryan should not be allowed to run for a Council seat while still employed at the Chamber, which receives a Million Dollars in local tax revenues.. she using her job and the Chamber to promote herself.

An arrest was reported this week of a young man who killed a 74 year old man just sitting in his garage.. The young KILLER stated he was just randomly shooting his gun to get a feel for it.. to "test" it.. You know, I'd feel better about the future of a young man who killed a person with intent because he was "wronged" than ever letting this young man, who obviously has no concepts of doing what's right, to ever see the light of day again.

L-E headline/story: "Harris County board considering only 1 superintendent candidate * The Harris County Board of Education is considering only one candidate to be its next superintendent." -- Hmmmm... interim Superintendent Roger Couch... This is what.. and how... it should be.. a system promoting from within is lot healthier than one that continually goes "outside" to find one.. I remember the first thing I use to tell newly promoted managers within my family's business.. You're getting the job.. the chance.. because you've earned it.. No, your primary job outside of running your department is to train someone to replace you.. That makes you a better candidate to get another promotion for more responsibility.

---
Why is it that the charges against people who shoot people are all to often allowed to plead out to lesser crimes than illegal use.possession of a gun used in committing another crime? It's the use of an illegally possessed gun used in a crime that puts TEETH into the sentencing.

Well... today is the last day we shall see Dimon- Kendrick-Holmes' name listed as the Executive Editor of the Columbus L-E. of the L-E.. It's his last day.

M/C L-E headline: "Swing voter Kennedy announces retirement from Supreme Court" --"swing voter"? What an insult for a judge who looks intently at the merits of a situation and applies the merits of our Constitution in his decisions.. It's not like he's an activist judge like Breyer, Ginsburg, Kagan or Sotomayor.

---
From the "try God first" department - Online headline: " Kennedy's retirement could mean new attack on legal abortion" -- Hmmm.. Matthew 6:27 - Who of you by worrying can add a single hour to his lifespan? and Matthew 34: therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.. Not 24 hours have passed since Judge Kennedy announced his intentions to retire and liberals are running around like their heads have been chopped off... Hey Libs.. our God... our society has compassion .. back alley"specials" will not return.. "D & C's" will still be with us.. about the only thing that will really change will be the end of infanticide in the way of "partial birth abortions", which should never have been allowed to happen in the first place.

---
Those who follow my ramblings and personal (and hopefully informative) comments know this, but I really do not think our government needs to be the control factor over abortions.. I'm pro-life, but the only area that government should take a stand is on those horrible partial birth abortions where a baby is actually physically KILLED by a doctor with the baby is still partially in the mothers uterus.. sorry, this is just plain out murder.. the other issues need to be between God and the woman/couple making such a decision.. some are because of eminent danger to the woman... others reasons are personal, but it's not something the humans involved should have to answer to a jury of humans. God is merciful and forgiving, and HE knows the hearts of each of us.. God will take each persons overall life and pass HIS judgment on our worthiness, and .. like I said, our God is merciful and forgiving when we seek HIM.

Just learned that my comments about Mayor Tom-LYING-son sending her husband, Gofer, to Phenix City to accept an award for her is not her only recent snub of the Mayor Pro Tem.. (Evelyn Turner Pugh, I believe). There was an event at the RiverMill, "2018 Veterans Stand Down" in which Mayor Tom-LYING-son sent ANOTHER gofer to present a proclamation, but this time it wasn't her hubby, nor the Mayor Pro Tem, nor a Councilor, no a City Employee.. no, this time she selected a MCSB member... Carolyn Hugley Green. Council and Mrs Pugh should be PO'd.

You know, if the Unions were prohibited from spending any dues revenue for political donations, the fees could have been lower and limited to Union business related to its members, and this probably would not have been a Supreme Court issue. Justice has been done, and a past court decision has been overruled.. Great day for America's workers.

---
You know, if the Unions were really representing its members, the only concerns should be about safety, working conditions, benefits, and fair wages, and Union officials would be able to produce records of expenses and justifiable compensation that would be reasonable for even non-union-members should not resent paying into. It doesn't mean a union could not have a PAC, but it would mean the PAC would have to solicit voluntary donations and comply with existing election laws.

Pop quiz - What was the biggest story 2 weeks ago? North Korea... DIMocrats, allied with mainscream media, have effectively diverted progress for world peace by focusing on the DIMocrat fiasco at our Southern Border...fortunately, the American voters are not buying the DIMocrat strategy...too many of Trump's promises are being kept, so public confidence for Trump not only is solidifying, it's growing as demonstrated in Republican and DIMocrat primary results, and Supreme Court decisions.

---
I see where Mitt Romney won the Utah GOP Primary for US Senate..I remember when Romney called Trump "a phony, a fraud". You know... Romney probably thought he was correct.. but like all other presidential candidates.. and mainscream media, Romney didn't know what a real president does since he basically only had Clinton, the Bushes, and Obama as his sources of examples.

Remember my yesterday comment about a Shicago bar which banned MAGA hats and gang-related face tattoos? Well, here's today's headline: "Chicago bar apologizes for 'MAGA' hats, face tattoos ban, says 'everyone is welcome'" --I guess one day of "zero revenues" gave the bar owner a great business forecast..

---
Online "headLIE": "Red Hen owner resigns from Virginia business group after booting Sarah Sanders from restaurant" -- "resigns"? I do believe there's a lot more that was discussed than just her resignation.. shut it down, Lexington!

From the "government speak for we're not good business people" department - Online headline/story: "Cobb Chairman: County credit rating at risk without tax hike * Cobb Chairman Mike Boyce told constituents that if the board doesn’t pass his proposed tax increase next month, the county could lose its AAA credit rating. * “That’s not a threat. That’s a fact,” Boyce said Monday night during the second in a series of town hall meetings to discuss the budget and millage rate." -- Cobb Countians kicked former Chairman Tim Lee out of office, and his replacement wants to raise taxes on the citizens rather than make the braves "pony up" the shortfall created? Doesn't sound like new Chairman Boyce was that good of a Marine officer...

M/C L-E headline/story: "Plea deal gets man 15 years in carjacking * Fortson sped away, racing to Victory Drive, starting a three-minute chase that was cut short when he wrecked the Hyundai and ran, before officers caught him. * For these deeds, he at first was charged with armed robbery, aggravated assault, fleeing from police, obstructing police, having no driver’s license, being a convicted felon with a firearm and two counts of using a gun to commit a crime. * His punishment came Monday when he pleaded guilty to a reduced charge of hijacking a motor vehicle, instead of armed robbery, and to aggravated assault and four of the other counts, two of which were dismissed."--  "8 years to serve"? You know, how about the fiscal responsibilities for his actions? A wrecked car that cost the owner "deductible" , and the insurance company repair or totaling damages.. and how about the collateral dames he caused during the chase and accident.. All these fiscal responsibilities should be made whole BEFORE any release,, especially "early release" is considered.

From the "guess where he's located" department - HuffPOOPOO headline/story: "Judge orders Trump administration to reunite families separated at the border * The Trump administration has 30 days to reunite migrant families split up by immigration authorities, a federal judge ruled Tuesday, in a rebuke that blocked the administration from continuing the widely reviled practice. * For children younger than five years old, the government has only 14 days to put them back into the care of their parents. * Under the terms of the injunction, the Justice Department may still prosecute parents on immigration charges when they arrive in the U.S. with their children. But the children may only remain separated for the brief time that their parents appear before a federal judge to face those charges and serve the sentences, which typically run for only a few days. The government may not continue to send the children to shelters hundreds of miles away from their parents. " -- Good grief.. All of a sudden, after 15 years under Bush, Obama, and now Trump. a judge another judge speaks up? Only this time, he's basically put families in cells together if there is compliance.. What we need is for Trump's Attorney General to shop for a judge that will order Congress to "immediately fund and Build the WALL".

Macon/Columbus (a.k.a. M/C) L-E headline/story: "Popular all-you-can-eat buffet temporarily shuts down after fire * A grill left burning at Golden Corral ignited a fire early Saturday in the kitchen and temporarily shut down the popular buffet restaurant at 1505 Manchester Expressway, officials said. * A note at the entrance of the restaurant said the eatery would be closed for 10 days. It is expected to reopen by July 1 , according to a note to customers on the door." -- Hmmm .. today's Wednesday and a Saturday fire is now just getting reported as news? Guess since Dusty Nix "retired", there's only Chuck Williams left who supports all the all-you-can-eat buffets in town, and Golden Corral was his Tuesday destination.

---
Online headline/story: "Chicago bar bans MAGA hats in effort to 'keep it classy' * Notably, MAGA hats aren’t the only dress-code violation listed. The bar has also placed a prohibition on gang-related face tattoos. " -- Hmmm.. MAGA hats, no.. non-gang-related face tattoos, yes.. Sounds like a real classy joint... NOT.. I wonder if the owner might make an exception for Kanye West wearing a MAGA hat?

---
Online story: "A New Supervolcano is Brewing Under These New England States
A new study from Rutgers University has found the beginnings of a volcano growing underneath New England. " -- Hmmm.. under Bernie's and Pocahontas' realms.. guess we will hear them campaigning that they will give their voters "free heat" in the future.

You know, when American soldiers go out to protect "the American way of life", they have incentives that the rest of the world idolizes.. now, what incentive do North Korean soldiers have to defend the way of life they have under Kim Jong Oooops?

---
Looks like Trump backed candidates had a good Tuesday. The same cannot be said for current DIMocrats... in New York, a Bernie-backed 28 year old unseated 10 year veteran DIMocrat Joseph Crowley who "was" the fourth ranked DIMocrat in the House. Also, Ben Jealous.. another "Bernie" beat out the DIMocrat backed candidate..

---
Looks like a lot of DIMocrat Congressional candidates will be distancing themselves from Nancy Pelosi...don't believe them...whether it's Pelosi or a replacement, no DIMocrat Congressperson is going to vote any way but the party leadership agenda.

---
You know, in the act of easing confusion between State and Federal representatives, maybe we should refer to the Capitol Chamber for Representatives as "The Big House".. well, it does seem to be "home" for a lot of criminality.

---
So much for the 2015 MCSD SPLOST Oversight Committee being able to keep wasteful spending down..it's been since February 4th since any meetings have been held.

---
Remember my comment yesterday about Mayor Tom-LYING-son sending her hubby, Gofer, to bring back an award from a Phenix City event...well, as I thought more about it, I wondered why she didn't send our Mayor Pro Tem there to represent Columbus. Something is just not kosher about what went on. Council should demand an explanation.

---
You know what bothers me about the Supreme Court decision on Trump's Executive Order Travel Ban...that 4 of the judges voted their politics and not their understanding of our Constitution.

---
We need to discuss the Congressional Black Caucus:

Did you know that in 2006, while running for Congress in a Tennessee district which is 60% black, white candidate Steve Cohen pledged to apply for membership in order to represent his constituents. However, after his election, his application was refused.[ Although the bylaws of the caucus do not make race a prerequisite for membership, former and current members of the caucus agreed that the group should remain "exclusively black". In response to the decision, Rep. Cohen referred to his campaign promise as "a social faux pas" because "It's their caucus and they do things their way. You don't force your way in. You need to be invited." -- By it's it's own admission, the CBC is in violation of everyone's civil rights as defined by the Constitution the members swear to uphold.

Technically, all members who abide by the focus of the CBC should be impeached since they are not representing all the constituents/voters in their districts..

In Georgia, we have 4 black representatives elected to represent all of GA yet they belong to the CBC.. Bishop in D-@, Johnson in D-4, Lewis in D-5, and Scott in D-13. Demographics of those 4 GA districts show that:

D2 - 52% black
D4 - 59% black
D5 - 58% black
D13 - 60% black

Basically, each Congressional District has about 750,000 people.. so in these 4 GA districts of an overall number of 3 million Georgians, about 1,710,000 are black, and 1,290,000 are not black.. Tis hardly "fair", much less Constitutional, that 1,290,000 Georgians are represented by 4 men who have vowed not to represent them equally as the other 1,710,000 citizens of those districts. The US Supreme Court should break this group up.

---
Seriously, why is America.. particularly conservatives and President Trump, the scapegoat for the world for trying to keep control of illegal entries into our country? Why aren't mainscream media journalists pointing out the true blame for this mess.. the other countries leaders who are sending it citizens packing.

---
Wow... Ross Perot is still alive, and celebrating his 88th b'day today..You know.. for a successful businessman, his only legacy will be that he was responsible for Hellary Clinton getting a foothold in America's history...and in a way, the ruination of Monica Lewinsky..

---
M/C L-E story: "The suspect in Jermaine Williams’ June 18 homicide in the Columbus Historic District had to go drop his 4-year-old daughter off before he could go back and shoot Williams, a detective testified Tuesday." -- You know.. there is no doubt that this has to be considered a 1st Degree Murder because the killer decided to take his daughter away from the action before shooting his victim... but who knows if the DA/ADA can get a jury to even find the killer guilty of any degree or murder or manslaughter.

---
M/C L-E headline/story: "High court rejects law on abortion information * Anti-abortion centers that help pregnant women likely do not have to give those women information about low-cost access to abortions, the Supreme Court ruled 5-4 Tuesday." -- First, why does mainscream media only refer to pregnancy/adoption centers as "anti-abortion centers" simply because they are providing a right-to-life service for babies and their women who have them? Secondly, these centers are a business.. and what businesses are held in contempt for not referring their customers/clients to other businesses?

What is it with "PRIDE" parades? Parades should be for bringing an event into public in a joyful, positive, informative way, not to see how many arrests and police involvements can be created.. After 49 years, you'd think Shicago could handle a parade in second-nature way.

From the "Blue Wave turning more into 'blew chunks'" department - Online, well, CNBC story: "According to the CNBC All America Economic Survey, the majority of Americans approve of Trump’s handling of the economy. * The economic approval rating went up 6 points, placing it at 51 percent with 36 percent of the public disapproving. Fifty-four percent said the economy is good or excellent, the highest recorded by CNBC in the 10 years of the survey." -- 51%? The only number important is the 36% "disapproval" rating.. this means 64% disagree with the DIMocrat Base, and Republican establishment needs to take note.

---
From the "don't you believe it" department - Online Presidential Fact story: "Believe it or not, although the First Family may not have to pay rent or utilities, they do have to pay for their own food. While living in the White House, they have to pay for every meal that they eat. * The Presidential Room is covered, but other than that, they have to pay for their meals as well as any personal items. This way, the President, and his family can’t spend the citizen’s taxes on their own comfort. They have to work and pay to eat just like every other American." -- "They have to work and pay to eat just like every other American? Like every other American"? Unless... unless, of course, they are part of the DIMocratic Party base or voter registration targets...

---
Another Presidential Fact story: ""Since the president is the leader of the government, it would only make sense that they have the power to shut the government down in the case of an emergency or some kind of particular situation, this is not true. * The only people that have the power to shut down the government is the Senate after they fail to agree on a federal budget for the upcoming year. There have been numerous government shutdowns in the past, however, not a single one of them was enacted by a president." -- The next time mainscream media... or the office lib.. yells at Trump... show them Schumer is the one who is at fault.

---
You know, some American businesses feeling they are disadvantaged by foreign tariff increases should remember that consumers in those countries will be their allies at making their own governments "back down".. for two reasons... the foreign tariffs hurt foreign countries more than American companies.. the government lives off the tariff (taxes), and their citizens will find the products they want elsewhere which cuts the foreign governments worse.

---
Maxine Waters....if you start to make a list of positive things about her or what she adds to the greatness of America... California, even.. you'll get a blank page.

---
There is definitely internal destruction happening inside the DIMocratic Party... Both Pelosi AND Schumer have rebuked her statements.. as they realize THEIR jobs are more in jeopardy than hers..

Made the final break from Nestle yesterday..finished my eternal relationship with Butterfingers last month, and started my cat on his first non-Purina food...and the Jury is out...

From the "KGB training camps" - Online headline/story: "New York Times bombshell on own reporter reveals Ali Watkins dated second potential source * The New York Times published a damaging feature about its own reporter, revealing new details of Ali Watkins’ affair with former Senate Intelligence Committee aide James A. Wolfe in addition to the bombshell that she dated another Intelligence Committee staffer. *  Earlier this month, a shock indictment revealed that prior to joining the Times, Watkins, 26, had a three-year romantic relationship with Wolfe, 58, who was accused by federal prosecutors of lying about leaks of sensitive information to journalists." -- You know.. working for the NYT pretty much makes journalists prostitute their integrity, but in Watkins case, seducing sources is how female spies were trained in the world of espionage.

From the "finally!" department - L-E headline: "Schorr becomes first Columbus golfer in 15 years to win Southeastern Amateur Golf Tournament * Y ROBIN TRIMARCHI * June 25, 2018 12:39 PM" -- 9 days... that's how long the Columbus-via-Macon L-E has taken to report the results of a prestigious Amateur golf tournament...it was the 89th such played at the historic Donald Ross course at the Country Club of Columbus...to boot, the C-M L-E didn't even t=run the daily scores that out-of-town golfers could "clip" and add to their scrap books of their golfing careers. Pathetic.....guess the reporter had to walk to Macon to file this...

---
Heard a DIMocrat spinmeister on Fox say Trump needs to repair relationships with Canada and Germany et al. HMMM... that's what he's doing, only Trump is getting the US out of the disadvantages previous presidents have placated those countries with.

---
Online headline/story: "Bin Laden's former bodyguard reportedly set for deportation after Germany arrest * Since 1997, the ex-bodyguard has been living freely in Germany with his wife and three children, but couldn’t be deported to his native Tunisia because of fears he could be tortured there." -- Good grief.. Germany was "afraid" to deport him to his own Islamic country? How has Merkel maintained her job?

---
Yesterday, I mentioned a locked Port-a-potty near a public beach access in Florida..someone local mention the similarity of being near the Queen TT Lounge on our RiverWalk..I guess since it did cost $244,00.00, she feels only select keyholding users should have access to it.

---
Looks like John "the Double-Whopper Pez dispenser" Pezold is glutton for punishment -- Does John Raffensperger approve the man who endorsed Buzz Lightyear over Josh McKoon, and walks in lockstep with Mayor Tom-LYING-son on assaulting the homeowners tax freeze protection?

---
M-C L-E headline: "IMMIGRATION * Border officials abandon ‘zero-tolerance’ policy" --
* Good grief... Trump has attempted to correct the Executive Orders of Obama, and the Clinton era judge who mandated the removal of minors from detainment centers after 20 days.. does the Macon-Columbus L-E even worry about whether it presents facts?

---
L-E commentary headline: "COMMENTARY * Sometimes you’ve just got to hit something" -- Hmmm... sounds like a disgruntled Macon-Columbus L-E employee... well, he ought to be.

---
Did you see the pictures in the M-C L-E of Mr Mayor of Columbus standing in for his wife at a Phenix City event? Hmmm .. wonder if he felt strange being her go-fer?

---
M-C L-E guest commentary "headLIE": "Trump traumatized children – now we have a responsibility * BY LEAH HIBEL AND ANDREA C. BUHLER-WASSMANN * Special to The Sacramento Bee" -- Good grief.. President Trump is carrying out the sworn duties of the Presidency..and has had to deal with the criminal decisions/orders of Obama, and the legal decisions of a Clinton era judge.. Sadly the Sacramento Bee.. nor the Macon-Columbus L-E, will be back in a few months and apologize for their yellow journalism.

---
Hmmm..we know where Rodney Mahone was shipped off to in the McClatchy regime, we know, Dusty NIx was not kept on, and we k
now Friday will be Dimon Kendrick-Holmes' last day at the M-C L-E,, but has anyone got an idea where DK-H will land?

From the compound fracture" department -- Not only has ABC pulled it's best two ratings programs in the last couple of years ( Last Man Standing, and Roseanne, but ABC has decoded it can replace Roseanne supporting cast. "The Conners" has about as much chance to survive as the DIMocrat Party with Pocahontas filling in for Hellary.

From the "not the real question" department - Online headline: "Trump administration says it can locate separated children, but reunification will be a challenge" -- Some 2,500 illegal alien children's "whereabouts" in the US is known.. but .. you know, the real question is how many parents in Mexico (and other South/Central American countries) who sent their unaccompanied minor children to cross into the US illegally know whether or not their children made it or are even alive?

---
Online headline: "Trump Demands Immediate Return of Undocumented Immigrants: ‘No Judges Or Court Cases’" -- Build the WALL! Zero random crossings!

---
Online headline/story: "Border town mayor asks Trump, ‘What border crisis?’ * Tony Martinez, and other Brownsville residents and leaders said.

“There is not a crisis in the city of Brownsville with regards to safety and security,” said Martinez, who has lived in Brownsville since the late 1970s. “There’s no gunfire. Most of the people that are migrating are from Central America. It’s not like they’re coming over here to try to take anybody’s job. They’re trying to just save their own lives. We’re doing fine, quite frankly.”" -- Hmmmm..a DIMocrat mayor . Definitely a problem that can be solved buy building THE WALL!

---
L-E story: "The U.S. military said it moved 100 wooden coffins to the inter-Korean border on Saturday to prepare for North Korea’s returning of the remains of American soldiers who have been missing since the 1950-53 Korean War.

U.S. Forces Korea spokesman Col. Chad Carroll also said 158 metal transfer cases were sent to a U.S. air base near Seoul, South Korea’s capital, and would be used to send the remains home.

North Korea agreed to return U.S. war remains during the June 12 summit between North Korean leader Kim Jong Un and President Donald Trump." -- Thank you, President Trump!
---
L-E headline: "No structural damage found after busted water main floods tower". --- Maybe no 'structural damage' but plenty of damage to Mayor Tom-LYING--son's dream of saddling Columbus taxpayers with a $100,000,000.00 tax burden.

---
L-E headline: "MIDLAND COMMONS - Developer plans to ease parkway congestion pain"-- No doubt Columbus needs something to stop the losing streak we're suffering from under the Tom-LYING-son realm but the developers might get a better response by seeking traditional funding rather than at the expense of the taxpayers.

---
Online headline/story: " Sarah Sanders booted so restaurant could uphold 'certain standards,' co-owner says * A co-owner of a restaurant that refused to serve White House press secretary Sarah Sanders on Friday reportedly cited morality and living up to "certain standards,” as the reason why." --- Hmmm ..imagine that ..a liberal putting "morality" and "living UP to certain standards" in the same sentence. Talk about a major oxymoron! Oh.. Talk about a Civil Rights case!

---
Online headline: "Hank Aaron on whether he would visit White House: 'There's nobody there I want to see'" -- Hank Aaron ..a part of a championship team..yeah right...Aaron never was a 'team player', so never got an invite as part of a championship team.. Oh.. and speaking of not going somewhere because "There's nobody there I want to see", you won't see me at the Krispy Kreme shop on Veterans here in Columbus, GA as Hank Aaron might show up.

---
Online headline: "Video shows DHS boss Kirstjen Nielsen being heckled, harassed at DC restaurant" -- Hmmm.. Another budding Civil Rights law suit!

---
Online headline: "Company sells out of charitable 'I really care' jacket in wake of Melania controversy" -- If the buyers 'really cared', they would have foregone buying the jacket, and sent a donation directly to a missions oriented organization ACTUALLY caring fur people.

---
Online headline: "Katie Arrington, who ousted Rep. Mark Sanford in primary, seriously injured in car crash" -- Pray for Katie Arrington!

---
Online headline: "CNN's Chris Cuomo states his case for caring about the thousands of children separated from their families." -- Hmmmm..yet Cuomo doesn't call out CNN or the New York Times for not reporting Obama's policies, nor the other successes of President Trump.

---
Online headline: "'Ashamed' Comey weighs calling himself Canadian, rips Trump border actions during Ireland visit" -- Hmmm, once you get by "why is Comey let out of the country under these circumstances", we now deal with: Hmmm...hold him to it if he shows back up at an American entry point..have him produce a Canadian passport.

---
HuffPOOPOO headline: "Senate Candidate Arrested Trying To Deliver Supplies To Detained Kids * Maine Democrat Zak Ringelstein tried to deliver water, toys and books to children housed in a Texas detention center. " -- Typical DIMocrat...won't work to get things done through channels so he puts himself ABOVE the law meant to protect children from political predators.

---
L-E story: "The Blue Devils’ third consecutive state championship further cemented the program’s dynasty and has earned two members the top All-Bi-City honors. Ben Carr has been named the All-Bi-City Boys Golfer of the Year, while Chris Parker once again has been named Coach of the Year." -- The L-E did it again...missed the opportunity to tell it's readers that Ben Carr also was tied for 3rd in the recent 89th Southeastern Invitational Amateur Championship. Oh, might as well mention another Columbus golfer, Stanton Schorr actually WON the tournament..

---
L-E guest commentary: - Los negeles Times headline: "Caging immigrant children and parents isn’t the answer" -- I agree...caging is not the answer...The WALL is the answer..if families can't get in illegally, the problem is solved for the future.

---
L-E guest commentary headline: "Officials argue over how to process migrant families
* BY MICHAEL D. SHEAR, RON NIXON AND KATIE BENNER * New York Times" -- Arguing over how to process migrant families? DOH! Like any other criminal families...

---
You know, if the NYT spent half as much time and space reporting the facts about Trumps successes in the economy , the jobs market, the regained respect, keeping his promises , and North Korea instead of picking apart his campaign rally rhetoric, people might start respecting the NYT again. And, if the NYT had reported the scandals of Obama and Hellary with the same fervor, America would have been great again years ago, and Trump probably wouldn't have had to run and become our greatest president...at least since Reagan.

Now that the Chamber has 'fessed up' to paying almost $100K for a new 'motto', when was the last time we saw anything "Amazing" happen in Columbus?

L-E story: "A $325 million Amazon facility being built near Birmingham will initially employ 1,500 people fulfilling orders, and the workforce could swell even more, the online retailer and local officials said Friday * Birmingham is one of the last U.S. cities its size without an Amazon facility to fulfill orders. The region previously submitted a proposal for Amazon’s new headquarters but wasn’t selected. * Amazon already has a sorting and shipping center in Mobile. That facility, valued at $30 million, has more part-time and seasonal workers than the operation being built in Bessemer."-- Thinking about the Chamber of Commerce here in Columbus it's hard to comprehend why it's excited about it's new motto...In this story, we learn that not only is Birmingham getting an Amazon Fulfillment Center but Mobile already has one.. Coupled with reports that Macon and Atlanta are already inline.

Hmmm.. Maybe our Columbus Chamber of Commerce can recoup some of the $100K it spent on it's new "slogan" by franchising it Birmingham, Mobile, Macon and Atlanta..With Amazon Fulfillment Centers on board, they have two things Columbus doesn't have..Amazon Fulfillment Centers ....and...Chambers of Commerce getting some "AMAZING" results.

From the "Forrest Gump, Stupid is as STUPID does" department - Online headline: "Rhode Island Passes Bill to Keep Trump Off 2020 Ballot If He Doesn't Release Tax Returns " --
And who gives a CRAP what Rhode Island says..it is bound by the Constitution. Hopefully , Rhode Island should be shunned from US protection and freedoms! Tax Returns ARE NOT A REQUIREMENT of candidacy.. what Rhode Island SHOULD do is require ALL presidential primary candidates to provide a verifiable certified BIRTH CERTIFICATE showing a candidates is a natural citizen as REQUIRED by the Constitution.

Traveling on Sunday gives you a new perspective about why we love Chick-fil-a. As we passed two in search of an agreeable stop for lunch, we all remember that Chick-fil-a honors us by honoring God. It's a message we carry with us.

Talk about strange roadside sights...how about a hearse pulled off on the side of the road..window open...no driver..swamp on the passenger side.

Oh, yes, it's now 5 weeks since Zeph Baker committed to turning in his campaign donations and expenditures. Does the Board of Elections have ANY teeth... Also, this is not a first time action of Baker.. shouldn't there be a "3 strikes and you're out " policy for crimes like this?

---
Online headline: "Bernie Sanders' income tops $1M for second year in row, reports say" -- Two years in A ROW! Don't you know Bernie is becoming a ig fan of Trump's economy... well, he sure is benefiting... wonder if he's voluntarily donating more than his owed taxes? Maybe he's paying off some students' loans or for "free college". ... Nah..

From the "bubble burst for Mayor Tom-LYING-son's assertions" department - Online headline/story: "Malliotakis hosts property tax protest at Miller Field * Over 200 Staten Island property owners, alongside local elected officials and candidates, gathered at Miller Field on Saturday for a property tax rally hosted by Assemblywoman Nicole Malliotakis (R-Staten Island/Brooklyn). * For context, Mayor de Blasio paid approximately $3,500 in property taxes on his Park Slope home valued at $1.7 million, according to Malliotakis. * An anonymous Staten Islander brought their statement, showing they had paid over $12,000 in property taxes on a home valued just under $1.2 million." -- Hmm.. NYC homeowners are paying $3,500.00 on a $1.7 Million dollar home and another pays $12,000.00 on a $1.2 Million dollars home.. wonder if NYC is using the same software that Mayor Tom-LYING-son brought into Columbus? Now.. comparatively, a $1.6 Million dollar home (parid: 181 006 006 with H1 Exemption) paid for in 2011 in Columbus, and now valued at $1,430,590.00 had a 2017 tax bill of $22,956.56. And New Yorker's are complaining ?

---
Online headline: "Border patrol agents are stopping people on highways in New England to check their citizenship" -- Hmmm... well... BUILD WALL there. too.. especially while Canada is also interested in stopping illegal entries from North and South America.

Here's another complexity our GA legislators didn't consider in the new cellphone law taking affect in July 1, 2018.. Holding a cellphone.. even touching it or setting it on your lap are illegal.. but what about Apple watches strapped onto drivers' wrists? Have you ever tried to push a mini-button on an Apple watch while not looking at it?

---
I think I have found the ultimate item of futility... near a public beach access in Fernandina Beach, FL.. there stood a Port-a-potty... I saw a mom running anxiously with her child... as they neared.. the mom stopped, and grabbed her head, in anguish .. or frustration... as she noticed the gleaming new padlock installed in the Port-a-potty door.

Columbus will benefit from the Supreme Court ruling about Internet sales companies having to collect and disburse sales taxes. Some economists are predicting Amazon to "win" over smaller internet companies who won't be able to absorb all the new costs..It's probably true...but the economists aren't thinking about Walmart which is even better set than Amazon.

---
From the "surely this is an April 1st joke" department - Online headline: "Juan Williams named Television Broadcast Journalist of the Year" -- Good grief.. Fox picked up Williams full time as a sympathy move after Williams was fired by NPR over a comment he made, but it's been years since I started changing channels whenever Williams "opines" his ultra-liberalism..

---
Trump gave mainscream media what it said it wanted...but like the hit song in "The Greatest Showman", it's "Never Enough"...now or in the future. All mainscream media is doing is shirking it's duty to report the news that's actually news..like the economy, the job growth, the repatriation of American jobs and businesses, the rebound of worldwide respect, the North Korean reconnect, and the end of political correctness.

Last January, a suicide terror attack on an AMTRAK train filled with Republican Congresspersons occurred in West Virginia... why don't we know more about it by now?

Online story: "When LaDawn "LBJ" Jones walked into a meeting at work a couple of months ago, she was hit with a serious case of "black girl magic." * Jones, the city solicitor in South Fulton, Georgia, was meeting for the first time with the city's municipal court staff. As she entered the room, she realized she was looking at something she'd never before seen in her legal career. * Everyone in the room looked like her. * "I walked into a very small conference room, and I noticed that it was all black women," Jones told CNN. "I kind of got that feeling of 'this is nice -- this is exciting.'" -- "this is nice"? "this is exciting"?.. in what way... does she believe that all black female women's staff would be fairer to her take on justice?

---
Online headline: "This is the FBI agent who worked on Hillary Clinton probe, labeled Trump supporters 'retarded' and texted 'f**k Trump' to her colleague lover - seen for the first time since her identity was revealed after release of IG report *  Sally Moyer, 44, was named as the FBI agent who traded anti-Trump texts that were seen in the 568-page inspector general report released last Friday * Moyer was identified only as 'Agent 5' in the report, but her name was released by Congressman Mark Meadows during a congressional hearing this week" -- Let's pray that ALL the FBI personnel involved in the attempted coup to elect Hellary are brought to justice!

Speaking of Columbus' tax valuations.. I saw where the USAA Building at the corner of Veterans and Whittlesey was being re-leased to Navy Federal..According to the tax database, that property is FMV at $1,685,263.00 and has some 8,200 sq ft under 1 roof.. that comes to a value of $205.00 a square foot.. not too bad or too high for such an expensive, or as the L-E describes it "PRIME", location... but then we look closer.. hidden in the descriptions is that there are two other buildings on that property...and that the three building total over 23,000 sq ft.. that means that the 3 building are FMV'd at ONLY $73.00 a square ft.. that seems a "little" lite for such valuable property made more valuable when the Whittlesey Ave widening was completed.. My personal home is valued at over $100.00 a sq ft. Something just doesn't pass the smell test...

What's with Congressional Caucuses? BLACK Caucus..FREEDOM Caucus...how about just a Congress of Representatives representing their constituents and doing what's best for America's future!

Hmmm...from outtake pics of Greg Norman's nude golf photo shoot, he may get a new nickname....from Shark to Minnow.

Online headline: "Hillary Clinton Raised $1.5 Million to Help Kids Torn From Their Families at the Border" --"RAISED"? ..Why didn't she QUIETLY donate her OWN or FOUNDATION money?

---
You know, there was a vote on an immigration reform bill that included 'the Wall' funding (which would STOP altogether illegal crossing by unaccompanied minors). Only 193 of the 235 Republicans voted FOR it. The Republican Party should remove the 42 who didn't vote FOR it from any Party support during future elections.

---
Islam is a religion of peace...Islam is a religion of peace? Have advocates of this ever considered that the god of Islam feels people he hasn't convinced should be killed by those who do believe in him?

---
Remember those Lee Iaccoca ads when he said, "Lead, follow, or get out of the way!" Well, it's certainly more true for Congress today...lead or follow, but get out of Trump's way!

---
L-E headline/story: "White House proposes to merge 2 federal agencies * The White House on Thursday announced a proposed overhaul of the federal government that would merge the Labor and Education departments, consolidate a slew of social safety net programs under a renamed health agency and reorganize federal food safety functions." -- Go Trump! Re-organizing government smaller..more efficient..is something no establishment Republican or any DIMocrat president would do.

---
L-E headline/story: "Year’s best Eagle Scout project in U.S. produced in the Columbus area * Nathan (Fain) is a member of Troop 326 in LaGrange, which is part of the Columbus-based Chattahoochee Council of the Boy Scouts of America." -- Sadly we have to ask, "WHEN the Chattahoochee Council will have to change it's name?"

---
From the "fallacy of liberalism helping" department - Online headline/story: "15-year-old migrant boy runs away from Texas child care facility * A 15-year-old boy ran away from a Texas shelter for migrant children, police said Sunday. The boy is now in Mexico, according to a source with direct knowledge of the incident. * The boy ran from Casa Padre, a child care facility in Brownsville, on Saturday, and was in conversations to be reunited with a man whom he called his father, the source said. * There had been a discrepancy in a DNA test, and before they could be sorted out, the child ran away, according to the source." * "As a licensed child care center, if a child attempts to leave any of our facilities, we cannot restrain them," the statement said. "We are not a detention center. We talk to them and try to get them to stay. If they leave the property, we call law enforcement." -- Heh heh heh.. "DNA discrepancy"? "we cannot detain them"? Who knows how many kids have been released to undocumented "family" members since a liberal judge determined that minors cannot be contained but 20 days.

---
L-E story: "As many as a dozen election officials attended the March 2, 2017, Las Vegas meeting, with a number of them accepting airfare, lodging, meals and, according to one participant, a ticket to a show on the Strip from their voting systems vendor, Nebraska-based Election Systems and Software (ES&S). Two other panel members said their state election boards paid for their trips." -- Hmmm... and the first question each election official should be asked... under oath... whether they voted for Trump or Hellary (et al) in 2016...

---
Oh... am getting responses from the GA DOT concerning my questions about the River Road "roundabout".. so far, I've learned the GA DOT says the same think our new mayor-elect says.. the bids haven't been let out. You know, in 2014, the estimate was openly discussed at $1.5 Million and the state was paying that (from TSPLOST revenue as I remember). After revamping the plans and re-discussing them in 2016, the projected cost was $2.7 Million with the state still paying that $1.5 Million , and the City coughing up the other $1.2 Million. We should be really worried now, because the GA DOT will not estimate the projected cost at present..

From the "say huh? department - L-E headline: "Trump aims to strip illegal immigrants of due process" -- Wait a minute... since when does an illegal alien have the rights granted to US citizens?

Thursday, June 21, 2018

From the "Surprise, surprise, surprise....NOT!" department -- HuffPOOPOO headline/story: "The United States is now the global leader in asylum requests, the UN says * The United States fielded more new asylum requests than any other country last year, according to the United Nations Refugee Agency, even as the Trump administration has been employing stricter measures to keep people out. * The number of new applications for asylum in the U.S. increased by 27 percent from 2016 to 2017, reaching 331,700, according to the “Global Trends: Forced Displacement in 2017” report. The U.S. surpassed Germany, which fielded 198,300 applications." -- Hmmm... guess the world has heard that Trump is "IN" and Obama is out, and see that America is becoming GREAT again..you also have to wonder if the influx could be Germans running from Merkel's immigration policy for Islamic terrorists.

---
Online headline: "Peter Fonda apologizes for vulgar remarks made about Donald Trump's son" -- You know.. I've heard the adage, "my children will be the death of me".. I think it was coined by Henry Fonda. I liked Henry Fonda... but I feel sure between his children, Jane and Peter, his death was welcomed.

---
Oh! Looks like Disney wants to buy Fox Entertainment...send your Congresspersons a complaint.. if Disney buys Fox, then the rebirth of "Last Man Standing" , which Disney's ABC network canceled, will be back under the Disney thumb.

---
The OIG's report really shows that Hellary should be locked up.

---
You know, isn't it suspect that mainscream media had no interest in the plight of illegal alien children during the terms of Obama...and especially during the first two years when Pelosi and Schumer could have passed new laws with no Republican input..in fact, they could have passed a new law that no could read until AFTER it was passed.

---
Well, well, well..look who's back on Fox as a spinmeister...Calvin Smyre's sexual assault accuser Jehmu Greene. Hey Calvin Smyre...it looks like you need to step up your game and show your innocence...it looks like the Columbus L-E is not interested in defending you...or is it that the L-E is not interested in the #MeToo rights of women.

---
You know the main issue of releasing abandoned children from border containment facilities by a short but certain day means that American officials cannot have time to research claims of people trying to retrieve those children. Who knows how many of those children will be forced into sex trafficking because of being given over to non-family members.

---
Knowing Trump is "crazy like a fox", I do believe Trump's Executive Order was pretty smart... it'll keep illegal families together.. Of course there are two things mainscream media /DIMocrats have been beaten on.. 1 - I'll bet there will be the "burden of proof" for illegals to prove their family connections.. and 2 - if the 1997 judgment enforcing that minors cannot be held more than 20 days, then the while family will need top be sent back as a family rather than the children being assimilated into America without their parents.

---
As I understand it, about 10,000 of the 12,000 minor kids currently held in confinement at the border were kids whose parents basically pushed them out of their homes and told the kids to go illegally into America and hopefully an aunt or other family would retrieve them in a few weeks. Most of these kids aren't being separated by US officials at the border, but by their parents back in Mexico or another Central American country.

Of course, many of the children held in confinement were kidnapped/raped and are smuggled in by perverts for sex trafficking.. the separation at the border confinement was actually a good thing for such kids to be saved from such a life.

---
Got it figured out why so many college kids finish college and aren't qualified for available jobs.. Just bought my daughter's book for "summester".. She's a Communications major which IS a hot market...but..she was told to buy a $181.00 book on "Public Relations - Strategies and Tactics". For $181.00, I expected the book to be brand new and fresh off the presses because of the rapid changes in this field. .. but NOOOO....not only is it used, it's an 11th Edition, last copyrighted in 2015. Going into the communications field using 2015 "tools" would be like sending our soldiers into combat with BB-guns.

---
DIMocrats... How can anyone expect a DIMocrat politician in Washington to stand up for America when none of them will stand up unless 'Simon' Pelosi says 'Simon says', stand up.

---
You know, the real interest of the mainscream media and DIMocrat Party to focus on family separation at the border is to knock all the success of Trump's North Korean polices off the front page of all the newspapers and TV shows.

---
Hypocrisy is a self-cannibalizing disease. The same mainscream media and DIMocrat Party that excoriate Trump because they feel Trump acts above the law, also are trying to encourage him to go above the law by ignoring existing immigration laws.

---
I find almost ironic, but mostly MORONIC that Sen UpChuck Schumer demands President Trump use his pen to do what Schumer won't, but could do in the Senate..

---
Why is it that mainscream media looks only at Republicans when immigration reform is stagnant...it'll take at least 9 DIMocrats in the Senate to get a proper immigration reform bill passed that Trump can sign.

---
I guess the runoff for Columbus Council Post 10 at large is why we still can't get the new or old mayor, nor any Councilors, to tell us how much the River Road roundabout is going to cost. I see no other reason other than Tom-LYING-son wanting Bryan to win for the costs of it not to be published for scrutiny and discussion.
Hey, Lynn Westmoreland, since you're now officially on the Board of the GA DOT, how about finding out the costs and let us know!

---
Looks like the DIMocrats will have even more issues with getting the support of the Millennials this Fall election cycle.. Winnebago stock shares are soaring on news of higher than expected revenues..Seems Winnebago is prospering from the support of the Millennials.

---
Looks like Harris County sees the handwriting on wall and is shedding the anchor of working with the Tom-LYING-son/ Chamber of Commerce alliance..Word is out that Harris County has eliminated paying dues to 'The Valley Partnership' from its next year budget. You know, it wasn't too long ago that the Valley Partnership was being championed across our state as THE WAY for areas to grow faster.. guess the rose tinted glasses cleared up.

---
From the "Hollywood a-listers and DIMocrat politicians cringed" department - Online headline/story: "Chris Pratt at MTV Movie & TV Awards: ‘You Have a Soul. God Loves You. Learn to Pray’ * While accepting the Generation Award at Monday’s MTV Movie and TV Awards, actor Chris Pratt told his millennial viewers “God is real,” they have a soul, and they have to take care of it. -- Hmmm.. between God and heir Winnebagos, Millennials will abandon the DIMocrats Blue Wave hopes.

---
So Strzok got escorted out of the FBI building...that wasn't enough..he should have be escorted straight to "jail" without passing "GO".

---
The local cable companies must really be suffering from their greedy practices sending more people to streaming and public antenna sources. Saw a competitive WOW commercial on Spectrum/Charter yesterday morning.

From the "proof here is no honor among thieves " department - Online headline: "Comey hits back at Clinton, won't apologize to her over email probe" -- Let the r-u-m-b-l-e begin!

---
From the "enjoy it while it lasts" department - Online headline: "Georgia secures AAA bond rating for another year " -- Whew.. this may be the last if Stacey Abrams wins in November... her personal credit debts/practices are already TOO well known to credit companies.

---
Online story: "ABC News has issued an apology after posting an incorrect graphic stating that Trump's former campaign chief Paul Manafort had pleaded "guilty to 5 charges of manslaughter." -- You know.. ABC cannot stand behind the old burden of proof standard for journalism... that media can write about anything if it isn't done with malice.. No jury.. judge for that matter, would ever feel anything reported by ABC concerning Trump or his friend wasn't done so as maliciously as possible.

---
L-E headline: "Most of Government Center set to reopen next week" -- Hmmm... two obvious questions.. 1 - has Tom-LYING-son's alibi for early Monday AM been verified, and 2 - who will get to redecorate the Mayors\'s office.. her or Skip?

Oh.. one other question: since it's probably MORE damage than the $50K deductible, will the insurance company agree with the mayor and "total" the building?

---
From the.. "you're kidding.. you're reporting this as news" department - L-E headline: "Biden backs Abrams in closely watched Ga. governor’s race" -- Hmmm... wonder if Abrams knew this in advance.. You know, Biden had a lot of exposure as Obama's VP... currently Mike Pence gets a lot of exposure as Trump's VP... but, there;'s a big difference.. Obama kept Biden in the spotlight to remind any psychos about who would become president if anything happened to him, while Trump spotlights Pence so enlightened voters will know the Trump legacy ..a great America, will continue in 2024.

Trump just signed an Executive Order to stop separation of families at the border, and protesters are still not satisfied.. just proves that giving into DIMocrats, but not giving them ALL they want, is a thankless gesture.. of course any Republican giving them ALL THEY WANT doesn't get any thanks either

From the "poll news and nothing but the poll news" department - Online story: "A new CNN poll shows that Melania’s favorability has dropped by 6 points. 51 percent of Americans now view her in a favorable light, down from 57 percent in May. The number of Americans who are not in favor of her has increased from 27 percent to 29 percent.
-- According to a new "CNN Poll"? Good grief, The fact... and a CNN "fact" at that, shows over half of the CNN-watching people CNN polled "liked" anything about ANY Trump pretty much explains why CNN's ratings are in the Pelosi range...

---
From the "BUILD THE WALL, STOP IT ALL" department - Online headline/story: "Trump says he would back both US House immigration bills as separation crisis grows * Trump, who has made a tough stance on immigration a centerpiece of his presidency, has staunchly defended his administration's actions. He has cast blame for the family separations on Democrats, although his fellow Republicans control both chambers in Congress and his own administration implemented the current policy of strict adherence to immigration laws." -- Think about this... "(Trump) has cast blame for the family separations on Democrats, although his fellow Republicans control both chambers in Congress and his own administration implemented the current policy of strict adherence to immigration laws"....Trump is upholding the EXISTING laws... previously passed by past DIMocrat Congresses, which Obama circumvented by his own policy decision to IGNORE the existing laws. Of COURSE it's the DIMocrats' fault... There is one thing that does need be added to existing laws... that if an illegal alien.. one who had broken EXISTING laws to gain entry into America, has a baby because she was pregnant when she entered America./. or even GETS pregnant while IN America illegally, then the baby CANNOT get citizenship by birth in this country.

---
Online story: " The United States withdrew from the United Nations Human Rights Council on Tuesday accusing it of a "chronic bias against Israel," a move that activists warned would make advancing human rights globally even more difficult." -- "Activists warned would make advancing human rights globally even more difficult"? Yeah.like we've seen Cuba become civil because Obama kissed Castro butts? Now what we need... no, what the UN needs, is for the US to stop paying the more-than-our-fair-share rent and operating costs for it's existence.

---
From the "let's TRY to make it sound IMPRESSIVE... even when it's not" department - Online headline/story "640 United Methodist clergy, members file complaint against Jeff Sessions * A group of more than 600 United Methodist clergy and members are bringing church law charges against Attorney General Jeff Sessions over the Trump administration's "zero tolerance" immigration crackdown — chiefly the policy that has separated thousands of children from their parents along the U.S.-Mexico border" -- Hmmm 640... out of 83,300+ Methodist pastors.. what's that.. less than 16 in 20,000...What this means for America's future is only a few Methodist clergy support the government NOT upholding the law..

---
Hail STATE! 12-2 winners over UNC in yesterday's College World Series competition...

---
From the "mainscream media trying to make mountains out of (_@_)... uh.. MOLE-hills" department - Online headline: "3 states are pulling National Guard troops from the US-Mexico border in protest over Trump's family separation policy * New York, Colorado and Massachusetts have ended cooperation with a White House initiative to deploy the National Guard to the US-Mexico border." -- Good grief.. and why would Trump even want to pay the transportation costs to the Mexican border for Guardsmen in state closer to Canada to begin with...Besides. it's not like CO, NY, MA even have political importance in America's future anymore...

---
From the "excessive and underperforming campaign strategy" department - L-E headline: "Candidate went green with 1,000 campaign signs. Now recycling center won’t accept them." -- 1,000 non-recyclable signs... and we have a recycle center that 80% unused.. even sadder is that those 1,000 signs produced LESS than 1,600 actual votes.. You know, those signs were mostly placed in yards of families.. what this means that since most families have 2 or more voters, probably only about 75% of the signs produced ANY votes at all.. I think the sign manufacturer should be named so nobody buys this type of sign in the future.

Sadder still is that the signs will be with us for decades after Dr Schley passes on...
---
Looking over some of the other results... some sad.. some gratifying,, but one in particular needs to passed along.. In Columbus, Josh McKoon kicked Buzz
Lightyear/Brockway's BUTT.. I mention this because of John Pezold's support of Buzz over Columbus' favorite son Josh McKoon.. this makes Pezold 0 and 2 for supporting issues that aren't good for Columbus.. Remember in 2016 that Pezold wanted to take away our Tax Freeze, and Columbus voters shunned him then, too, by another landslide decision..

---
Online headline: "Trump Jr. pulls out of fundraiser for George P. Bush due to immigration criticism" -- Good grief.. what is going on with the Bush family.. President Trump is just enforcing the same laws Bush43 gave a "matador's cape swoosh" at.. or laws he signed into law.. You know, if the Bush family was as smart as they feel they are, they'd recognize that they are "being played" by DIMocrats and Mainscream Media alike..just as both "play" McCain as long as he promotes liberalism.

---
You know, the ONLY reason DIMocrats are for illegal aliens is that the DIMs want more voters.. legal or otherwise .. to create fraud at the ballot box.. seems that there are better safeguards in place now to expose the "dead" registrants names and purging them off the voter rolls.

---
Island-Flip-Over Hank... Hank Johnson of GA's Congressional District 4 is sounding off AGAINST gerrymandering.. Flip-Flop... uh, Flip-OVER Hank says, "African Americans in Georgia – and all minorities – must have an equal opportunity to elect their candidates of choice. It is high time we move past the dilution of African-American voting power in Georgia and ensure equal voting rights for all. I am proud to support a lawsuit that brings to life the rights provided by Section 2 of the Voting Rights Act. " -- Huh! Has Flip-Over Hank ever looked at the demographics that already exist in HIS district? I'm sure he has, and would not want the demographics to emulate GA's overall 59% white demographics, it could mean he would probably not get re-elected.

Here are the current District 4 demographics:

Population: 720,228
Gender: 47.5% Male, 52.5% Female
Race[1]: 31% White, 57% Black, 4.4% Asian, 0.2% Pacific Islander
Ethnicity: 10.5% Hispanic
Unemployment: 15.6%

You know, if Flip-Over Hank would agree to "diluting" his demographics, it would probably mean a better chance for qualified black candidates to win in 2 or three more districts.

---
DIMocrats are so pious about "ripping children from their Illegal Alien mom's arms" yet feel government should GLADLY pay to "rip babies from all women's wombs".

---
Why is there any discussion .. ANY doubt as to whether or not Hellary had or didn't have "criminal intent" concerning her decisions to abuse her e-mail accounts? Of course her intents were DARK...were INTENTIONAL. Other wise, she would have followed existing protocol all along.

That new cellphone law goes into effect here in GA on July 1st.. here is info on what you CANNOT do regarding your phones:

"Earlier in the day, Channel 2’s Linda Stouffer hit the road with Triple Team Traffic’s Mark Arum and Doug Turnbull to see how the new law will really work.

“You cannot have your phone in your hand, touching any part of your body at all. That’s that No. 1 thing everyone has to know,” Arum said.

“So, can I just adjust my map like right here at a stop sign?" Stouffer asked Arum.
“No, you cannot. Take your phone, hand it to your passenger and they can do it for you, or pull over on the side of the road and do it that way,” Arum said.

There is also no setting your phone on your lap, says Triple Team Traffic's Doug Turnbull.
“You're not allowed to rest (your phone) on your body or in your pocket. Even if it's for GPS, you have to put it on the holster or rest in on the console,” Turnbull said. "

Now. me thinking..... I've "heard" tales that the same applies for food and drinks not being held as you drive.. does anyone have definitive info on this?

---
From the "obviously, this organization did not think it's name through" department - L-E headline: "Coalition for Sound Growth headline" -- You know.. in today's world, more planning needs to be made to ELIMINATE the "growth" of "sound".

---
From the "keeping promises" department - L-E story: "The Trump administration announced a sweeping new rule Tuesday that will make it easier for small businesses to band together and set up health insurance plans that skirt many requirements of the health care law, offering lower costs but also fewer benefits. * Labor Secretary Alexander Acosta said the new rule would give small businesses access to more affordable insurance options, like those available to large companies, starting as soon as Sept. 1. Millions of people could benefit from the new entities, known as association health plans, he said." -- And Trump does not have to make it a fine not to buy the health coverage you want..

---
L-E headline/story: "Lawmakers barred from child migrant facility in Florida * U.S. Sen. Bill Nelson accused the Trump administration of a “cover-up” after officials denied him entry Tuesday to a detention center for migrant children in South Florida where he had hoped to survey living conditions. * Nelson and U.S. Rep. Debbie Wasserman Schultz, both Florida Democrats, went to the contractor-run Homestead Temporary Shelter for Unaccompanied Children following reports it was receiving detained migrant children who had arrived in the country illegally." -- Of course they were denied entry.. they are DIMocrat Congresspeople who have never helped before, and are there only to make political noise trying to get re-elected... which... would be to the detriment of America's and illegal's futures.

---
From the "bias. what bias?" department - L-E headline: "US likely lost track of nearly 6,000 unaccompanied kids" -- Good grief.. without Obama's policies overruling US laws, this would not be an issue now.. "BUILD THE WALL, STOP IT ALL!"

Tuesday, June 19, 2018

From the "polls news and nothing but the poll news" department - Online headline/story: "Poll: Kim Jong Un has higher approval among Republicans than Pelosi * The Ipsos survey conducted for the Daily Beast found that among Republicans, 19 percent indicated they hold a favorable opinion of Kim, while 17 percent said they have a favorable opinion of Pelosi." -- Hmmm... Only 17% approve Pelosi? I guess it's because it's actually a poll of DIMocrats being described as Republicans. Personally, I hope Pelosi is around for the next 7 years so Pence will be a shoo-in in 2024..

---
From the "Fountain of Truth" department - Online headline: "Hillary Clinton: That is an outright lie" -- Hmmm.. this is the most universally CORRECT headline that has ever been written about anything Hellary has ever said...

---
Online headline: "Cuomo To Commander In Chief: NO NEW YORK NAT’L GUARD FOR YOU!: -- Hmmm... looks like Kathy Griffen may have landed a job... campaign manager for NY Governor Cuomo.. Of course, like Griffen, Cuomo may have a tough time getting the people of NY to hire him again.

---
With all the push and talk from Mayor Tom-LYING-son to raze the Government Center and build a new one, you have to be suspect about the flooding of our Government Center Sunday night/Monday AM... Has anyone confirmed the whereabouts of Tom-LYING-son Sunday night/Monday morning?

Estimates are that 36,000 gallons of water flooded the Government Center... Now, who's gonna pay the Columbus Water Works for that... and not with tax dollars...

---
HMMM...these libs are so confusing..they get upset when lawbreakers are separated from children, yet actually encourage women, even ILLEGAL ALIEN women at the border, to separate themselves from children in their wombs.

---
The City needs to look at it's parking meter restrictions and enforcement in downtown... again... friends of ours were back visiting in town over the long weekend, and went downtown on Monday.. they enjoyed seeing the sights and sites.. ate lunch, enjoyed some shopping , walked on the Riverwalk, their children frolicked in the Splash Pond, and when they got back to their car.. enjoyed the "droppings" of a City metermaid. I paid the ticket as they were our guests, but 2 hours is not enough time to give visitors to enjoy Columbus.

---
Oh, while we were there, I noticed the old clock taken down from the Iron Bank during its new paint job, has not been put back up.. I ask y\you, what's a historic landmark without its history?

---
Speaking of Historic downtown Columbus icons, has anyone ever "fessed up" about where the cast iron fountain that disappeared from Heritage Park is... or how about "Steggie , the Brontosaurus"?

---
Listening to the fingerpointing ramblings of former Kerry spinmeister as a Component of Fox's new "A-Team" panels and also realizing Juan Williams is an ad hoc member of the "A -Team", I must conclude "A-Team" is an acronym for "(_@_)-Team" .

---
Online headline: "Man fatally shot in Historic District, Columbus police say" -- Hmmm... looks like Number 19, and June is not even over...guess we can really say that Mayor Tom-LYING-son's legacy year is off to a "bang -up" start, and will really finish with a "bang" when even the drug dealers are out trying to raise extra cash for Christmas presents..

---
Online headline/story: "Hillary Clinton cites another Bible quote to fight Trump on immigration * Clinton also took a swipe at Attorney General Jeff Sessions, who, on Thursday, cited the Bible to defend the border policy, and added that recent criticisms were not "fair or logical and some are contrary to law." * "I would cite you to the Apostle Paul and his clear and wise command in Romans 13, to obey the laws of the government because God has ordained them for the purpose of order," Sessions said. "Orderly and lawful processes are good in themselves and protect the weak and lawful." * She invoked her own quote from the Bible — Matthew 19:14 — in response, saying that "Jesus said suffer the little children unto me. He did not say let the children suffer." * Clinton said that "those who selectively use the Bible to justify this cruelty are ignoring a central tenet of Christianity."" -- Hellary?... citing the Bible".. how many times has she tripped over the 10 Commandments.. especially about "LYING"?, and now she quotes Matthew 19:14... well, bears false witness about it's meaning.. if she wants to use Matthew 19:14, she should direct it to the president of Mexico... and the Board of Planned Parenthood.

---
Hey, Columbus Health Department... it's mosquito season.. how about writing up the tire place on River Road just North of the 38th Street intersection, and the tire place on Veterans just South of 38th Street for leaving all those tires out in the rain catching water that creates mosquito breeding areas.

---
A retired military friend of mine was telling me about a friend of his who also retired but moved to Shicago... His friend had to dismantle his guns, and sell off his ammunition, because it is against the law to transport a working gun or live ammunition into Shicago... Hmmm.,.. the South Side Shicago gangs are ecstatic knowing out of state tagged vehicles riding through South Shicago are helpless.

---
Gotta LOVE Trump... China threatened with more tariffs, and Trump called their bluff, met that and raised them...

---
L-E story: "The Trump International Hotel & Tower in Chicago is one of the largest users of water from the Chicago River, but records show it has never met Environmental Protection Agency rules for protecting fish. * City records indicate the skyscraper siphons nearly 20 million gallons a day for its cooling systems. State and federal regulations limit the number of fish that can be trapped or killed during water intake." -- You know, the only reason Shicago officials have an interest in the number of fish Trump Hotel/Tower "traps or kills" is that the Shicago DIMocrat Party voter registration committee doesn't know how many fake applicants it can file.

Before there's any more discussion, why is the issue of separation of illegal alien families at the border... or not, even an issue? The situation revolves around a criminal act...a parent.. or parents.. decide to attempt to put themselves ABOVE ... or contrary to .. the law, are caught, and must be held responsible for his/her/their decision... Why should situations .. whether at the border.. or inland... be given any different consideration than CITIZENS of this country breaking a law and having to be separated from his/her/their children to serve the time in prison (consequences) of the decision?

And while we are discussing parental separations from families.. why is there more concern about the imbalance of ethnic groups serving time in prison rather than why there is an ethnic imbalance committing crimes?

One other thing, in 2009 and 2010, why did not the DIMocrats pass a law.. even though it would eventually be challenged and overruled based on Constitutional issues ... when they had super-majorities in the House and Senate.. dealing with the issues they now complain about.. Instead of addressing it, Obama dealt with it with Executive Orders which carry weight only until EITHER a new president or the Supreme Court eliminate such. DIMocrats are the BLAME for what's left for Trump.. and AMERICA.. to deal with..

---
From the "talk about separating illegal alien families!" - Online headline/story: "At least 5 dead after SUV carrying illegal immigrants crashes, sheriff says * Dimmit County Sheriff Marion Boyd said four people died at the scene off Highway 85 in Big Wells, Texas, at about noon, and one other person died at the hospital. A sixth person was said to be in "very" critical condition. * In all, 14 people were inside the SUV, including the driver and passenger, according to the sheriff. The driver, believed to be a United States citizen, was rushed to a hospital; the passenger, also believed to be a U.S. citizen, currently is in custody." -- Hmm ... at least 5, and probably 6 illegal aliens are dead.. this is a PERMANENT separation of families... Solution: "BUILD THE WALL, STOP IT ALL"

---
DIMocrats are out calling putting illegal aliens in containment is "unAmerican".. Excuse me? Aren't the illegals the unAmericans"?

---
From the "best example of irony in awhile" department - Online headline/story: "Trump quip about North Korea's Kim sparks outcry on social media * Trump indicated a White House visit by Kim was possible: "Hey he's the head of a country, * "He speaks and his people sit up" -- And in America, Trump is head of our country, and when he speaks, mainscream media and other socialist "spit up". Trump 2020!

---
Online headline: "Parkland students kick off nationwide bus tour in Chicago to promote young voters to register" -- Good grief.. whatta waste of time.. since most high schoolers are not OLD ENOUGH to vote, why didn't this group just appeal to Shicago teens not to shoot so many of each other so they could GET old enough to vote?

---
Online story: "Public works projects around the Obama Presidential Center in Chicago could cost Illinois taxpayers nearly $200 million, * The presidential center would sit in Chicago’s South Side neighborhood." -- In Shicago's South Side? What a brilliant plan.. Obama can place his school, travel records and Manifesto inside it without fear of them ever being discovered.. with it's ongoing street violence, who among historians will venture into South Shicago?

---
From the "Kenny Loggins, (This is it) Make no mistake where you are!" department - Online headline/story: "Tourists visiting San Francisco question if they're in 'bad side of town' * Since the beginning of the year, reports have surfaced of hypodermic needles dotting the streets, piles of human feces and expanding shanty towns for the increasing homeless population -- and now tourists are noticing * "Is this normal or am I in a 'bad part of town?'” an Australian Reddit user asked the San Francisco Reddit community Wednesday. * “Why is this city so terrifying?” a Canadian visitor asked on Reddit Sunday." -- Hmmm... seems rather obvious that California needs to start developing "Sanitary Cities" rather than "Sanctuary Cities".

---
From the "bias..what bias?" department - After years of mainscream media excoriating any network for bring Chelsea Clinton into the news, mainscream media certainly has no issue with going after all of Trump's family.

---
Not to be outdone by Reagan's "Evil Empire", Trump has nailed the Comey/Lynch-Holder/Obama Triangle of Terror as the "Den of Thieves".

---
Online headline: "Angela Merkel's German government facing collapse over her immigration stance * Angela Merkel’s government is on the brink as the German chancellor battles her coalition partners on immigration and asylum seekers. * The coalition between Merkel’s Christian Democrats (CDU) and the Bavarian Christian Social Union (CSU) has fractured over the latter’s new proposed policy that would turn away more asylum seekers at the country’s borders. * In 2015, her 'open door' policy to migrants saw approximately a million refugees flood into the country. Although migrant arrivals have dropped steeply in the past two years, Germany still registered around 11,000 new asylum-seekers each month." -- Whoa.. once you stop laughing at the thought of the possibility of their being a Christian Democrat, you'll thank yourself for not electing Hellary ...

---
From the "just as it should be" department - Online headline/story: "San Juan Mayor Who Criticized Trump Now Being Investigated for Corruption * Cruz may be the hypocritical one here. New reports suggest that corruption in San Juan prevented critical supplies from reaching Hurricane Maria victims. The FBI is investigating suppliers and Cruz's administration." -- Hmmm... who knew.. that her wearing the "Nasty Woman" t-shirt would turn out to actually be prophetic?

My go-to store for lightbulbs has been Lowe's for years... I started making them my exclusive and destination spot because they sold other brands than GE, and I swore off GE when Obama tapped GE CEO Jeffrey Immelt as his economic adviser and we would no longer buy 60, 75, or 100 watt incandescent bulbs. Well, no more..Went to Lowe's yesterday and saw nothing but GE bulbs..I'm looking for a new outlet.

---
L-E headline/story: "Judge drops charges against victim, suspect in Eagles Trace Apartments shooting * Charges against a man accused in Monday’s shooting at Eagles Trace Apartments were dismissed Thursday in Columbus Recorder’s Court. * Jasaan Alexis Marion, 19, was facing one count of reckless conduct and aggravated assault in the 6:18 p.m. shooting at 2001 Torch Hill Road. Police Detective Delante’ Odom asked Judge Michael Joyner to dismiss the charges during a 9 a.m. hearing. * Based on the investigation, he believed or made the determination that it was a self defense case. “It basically means my client had not violated the law,” he said. “I was pleased.” * Police said the shooting was sparked from an ongoing dispute between Marion and another man. The shooting between the two men left Marion and a third man injured. * The gunfire erupted in the parking lot near the mail boxes at the apartment complex, police said.-- "Based on the investigation"? Did the investigation include information as to whether the gun was legally owned (is 21 the age when a handgun can be owned?), and a carry permit issued.. and did the investigation reveal that this 19 year old was the victim of a random assault/robbery...did the investigation reveal all three of the men were carrying... We're doomed.. now a judge is kowtowing to knowing that this case would end up with another local "jury fail"..

Perhaps the the most damaging revelation of the IG's report is to Obama..mainly as to why Obama didn't fire Comey and McCabe before the election...or at least before Trump took office.

---
From the "most hypocritical comment of the 21st Century" department - Online headline: "Bill Clinton 'offended' over criticism of his tarmac meeting with ex-AG Lynch" -- Slick Willie was offended? Good grief.. the majority of 300 Million Americans had the right to be "offended".. not Clinton! In fact, I'm OFFENDED that all 300 Million plus Americans weren't offended by the Lynch/Clinton meeting!

---
Online story: "-- African-Americans made up 29 percent of the voting universe on May 22, counting both Republican and Democratic ballots. Which means that Stacey Abrams, the Democratic nominee for governor, still has turnout work to do. Thirty percent of the 6.1 million registered voters statewide are African-American, an area in which Abrams must overperform if she’s to have a chance in November." -- You know.. GA's black community should be offended that they are EXPECTED to support a candidate because of her color rather than a candidate's leadership and management skills! Sadly, they did it in the primary as well.

---
L-E headline: "MCSD reports reveal cleanest, dirtiest schools for past academic year" -- I just wish the MCSD/MCSB would be more revealing about the cleaning contracts companies..

---
Saw an ad in the Columbus L-E based on, "Don't Want a Cookie-Cutter Funeral"?" -- Good grief.. aside from does it really matter, but how would you know if your wish for a non-cookie-cutter-funeral was actually carried out?

---
I'd never play golf with Bill Clinton... like politics, I'm pretty sure he "lies as he plays it"

I see where George Cliff, longtime PGA professional affiliated with the Ft Benning Golf Course, has passed.. hope he joins my Dad for another round soon..

L-E headline: "Republicans blindsided by Trump opposition to immigration plan" -- Blindsided? Nah,, it's just some of them weren't listening.. then nor now.. Trump keeps his promises...

L-E story: "Google released its annual workforce diversity report Thursday, marking only modest changes from last year. The company remains mostly white and male. * Overall, Google’s global workforce is 69.1 percent male and 30.9 percent female, virtually unchanged from 2017. * In its breakdown on race and ethnicity, which only covers U.S. employees, 2.5 percent of Googlers are Black/African American, up from 2.4 percent in 2017. Black women make up only 1.2 percent of the workforce, compared with 1.8 percent for black men. Women identified as Latinx make up 1.7 percent." -- Amazing.. one of the most liberal companies and executive groups showing how it really feels about diversity... Follow the money to it's political donations.

Question: If you are a L-E Subscriber.. even just an occasional reader, who won the 89th Southeastern Invitational Amateur Championship this past weekend? It ended Saturday at the historic Donald Ross layout at the Country Club of Columbus yet there's NO mention of it in Sunday's or today's edition of the Columbus (via Macon) Ledger-Enquirer. To boot, a young accomplished Columbus golfer won! Congratulations Stanton Schorr.. oh, congrats, too, for Ben Carr finishing tied for 3rd.. he's another accomplished young Columbus golfer.. Of course, the Columbus/Macon L-E has no interest in PGA golfer Russell Henley.. a Macon product now building his home in Columbus.. PITIFUL!

The left has made a major mistake in presenting the IG's report...they feel WE are the stupid ones...Well, as Forrest Gump would say, "Stupid is as stupid does".

---
Didn't see, I bet...at least not if you get your news from sources other than the Fox News channel, but the FED projects a GDP growth of over 4%....this would never have happened under a 3rd term of Hellary/Obama.

---
On Saturday, I felt this way: Say it ain't so, Phil! That awful exhibition on the 13th green on Saturday. If someone told me how you acted, I wouldn't believe they were talking about you...but I watched it myself...I'm still slack-jawed! Later, Phil Michelson explained that he was using an official rule to his best advantage..he knew the ball was about to roll off the green and would go another 50 yards back down the fairway.. In a way, you have to applaud Phil for his knowledge of, and using the rules of golf to his advantage.. and his QUICK thinking.

Hey, Mayor Tom-LYING-son.. you to new/old Councilpersons and those in the runoff next month.. before the fiscal year ends, how about P&L statements for the Natatorium, Ice Rink, Swimming Pools, and the Recycling Center..

Online headline/story: "Former IRS attorney says IRS 'should go after' Trump * “The New York State attorney general yesterday filed a lawsuit against the Donald J. Trump Foundation and its directors, accusing the charity and the Trump family of violating campaign finance laws, self-dealing and illegal coordination with the presidential campaign,” Philip T. Hackney wrote. * “I believe Mr. Trump is also criminally liable for his actions,” Hackney added. * “If I were still at the I.R.S., based on the lawsuit, I would make a criminal referral, on charges of tax evasion or false statements on a tax return, or both." -- "if I was still at the I.R.S."? Hmmm.. well Mr Sir Crabs-a-lot, when you WERE at the I.R.S., why didn't you GO AFTER the Clintons and their foundations, and Lois Lerner and Obama who used the I.R.S. to undermine new conservative 501 (c) 3&4 applications for creating foundations?

---
From the "it's not one world" department - Online headline/story: "Nigeria soccer fans are banned from taking their lucky chickens into World Cup matches * A Russian politician has told Nigeria soccer fans they cannot take live chickens to 2018 FIFA World Cup matches. * The chickens are seen as lucky mascots but the government has slapped a ban on taking them into games ahead of Nigeria's opening World Cup match against Croatia on Saturday." -- Whew! We dodged a bullet by Obama NOT getting the World Cups here during his terms.. some of the games would have been in California, and California would allow the Nigerians to marry their chickens and bring them into the stadium as spouses.

---
L-E headline: "Secret recording, unpaid loan stir governor’s race" - Didn't the Walton Family just deny that this was something they would do?

---
L-E headline/story: "Court reinstates California’s right-to-die law * A state appeals court has reinstated – at least for now – California’s law allowing terminally ill people to end their lives. * The Fourth District Court of Appeals in Riverside issued an immediate stay Friday putting the End of Life Option back into effect. * The law allows adults to obtain a prescription for life-ending drugs if a doctor has determined that they have six months or less to live." -- Good grief... a state appeals court has the power to determine life and death.. well it is California.. Of course, the judge could.. should have ruled that if someone was interested in dying in the next 6 months, just take daily walks in sanctuary cities wearing bling until some illegal alien kills them for it.

Online headline/story: "Seven highlights from bombshell IG report on the DOJ, FBI Clinton email probe:

1. New texts between FBI lovers Strzok and Page were 'disappointing' and cast a shadow over the integrity of the entire Clinton email probe

2. Five unnamed FBI employees -- including one lawyer who later worked on the Mueller probe -- are under scrutiny for anti-Trump bias

3. President Obama was one of the 13 individuals with whom Hillary Clinton had direct contact using her clintonemail.com account.

4. Despite Clinton connections, former Assistant Attorney General Peter Kadzik and former Deputy Director Andrew McCabe didn't fully recuse themselves

5. 'Insubordinate' Ex-FBI Director James Comey repeatedly violated policy and inaccurately described the legal situation surrounding Clinton's emails

6. Former Obama Attorney General Loretta Lynch made errors in judgment during the Clinton probe

7. FBI agents' actions surrounding the DOJ/FBI interview of Hillary Clinton were 'inappropriate' and created appearance of bias.

From the "have your pizza.. and streets, too" department - Dominos wants us to get our pizzas delivered intact and savory... so.. it is offering to repave the streets either you.. or its delivery personnel.. must travel ... to get it delivered home..maybe Council should just close the prison kitchens and court house snack bars and order Dominos everyday to we could get our streets up-to-snuff.. Just spent the weekend at some family property in Harris County, and it was sure relaxing to drive looking forward rather than down at the potholes I would have had to dodge driving in Muscogee County.
