From the "not the real question" department - Online headline: "Trump administration says it can locate separated children, but reunification will be a challenge" -- Some 2,500 illegal alien children's "whereabouts" in the US is known.. but .. you know, the real question is how many parents in Mexico (and other South/Central American countries) who sent their unaccompanied minor children to cross into the US illegally know whether or not their children made it or are even alive?

---
Online headline: "Trump Demands Immediate Return of Undocumented Immigrants: ‘No Judges Or Court Cases’" -- Build the WALL! Zero random crossings!

---
Online headline/story: "Border town mayor asks Trump, ‘What border crisis?’ * Tony Martinez, and other Brownsville residents and leaders said.

“There is not a crisis in the city of Brownsville with regards to safety and security,” said Martinez, who has lived in Brownsville since the late 1970s. “There’s no gunfire. Most of the people that are migrating are from Central America. It’s not like they’re coming over here to try to take anybody’s job. They’re trying to just save their own lives. We’re doing fine, quite frankly.”" -- Hmmmm..a DIMocrat mayor . Definitely a problem that can be solved buy building THE WALL!

---
L-E story: "The U.S. military said it moved 100 wooden coffins to the inter-Korean border on Saturday to prepare for North Korea’s returning of the remains of American soldiers who have been missing since the 1950-53 Korean War.

U.S. Forces Korea spokesman Col. Chad Carroll also said 158 metal transfer cases were sent to a U.S. air base near Seoul, South Korea’s capital, and would be used to send the remains home.

North Korea agreed to return U.S. war remains during the June 12 summit between North Korean leader Kim Jong Un and President Donald Trump." -- Thank you, President Trump!
---
L-E headline: "No structural damage found after busted water main floods tower". --- Maybe no 'structural damage' but plenty of damage to Mayor Tom-LYING--son's dream of saddling Columbus taxpayers with a $100,000,000.00 tax burden.

---
L-E headline: "MIDLAND COMMONS - Developer plans to ease parkway congestion pain"-- No doubt Columbus needs something to stop the losing streak we're suffering from under the Tom-LYING-son realm but the developers might get a better response by seeking traditional funding rather than at the expense of the taxpayers.

---
Online headline/story: " Sarah Sanders booted so restaurant could uphold 'certain standards,' co-owner says * A co-owner of a restaurant that refused to serve White House press secretary Sarah Sanders on Friday reportedly cited morality and living up to "certain standards,” as the reason why." --- Hmmm ..imagine that ..a liberal putting "morality" and "living UP to certain standards" in the same sentence. Talk about a major oxymoron! Oh.. Talk about a Civil Rights case!

---
Online headline: "Hank Aaron on whether he would visit White House: 'There's nobody there I want to see'" -- Hank Aaron ..a part of a championship team..yeah right...Aaron never was a 'team player', so never got an invite as part of a championship team.. Oh.. and speaking of not going somewhere because "There's nobody there I want to see", you won't see me at the Krispy Kreme shop on Veterans here in Columbus, GA as Hank Aaron might show up.

---
Online headline: "Video shows DHS boss Kirstjen Nielsen being heckled, harassed at DC restaurant" -- Hmmm.. Another budding Civil Rights law suit!

---
Online headline: "Company sells out of charitable 'I really care' jacket in wake of Melania controversy" -- If the buyers 'really cared', they would have foregone buying the jacket, and sent a donation directly to a missions oriented organization ACTUALLY caring fur people.

---
Online headline: "Katie Arrington, who ousted Rep. Mark Sanford in primary, seriously injured in car crash" -- Pray for Katie Arrington!

---
Online headline: "CNN's Chris Cuomo states his case for caring about the thousands of children separated from their families." -- Hmmmm..yet Cuomo doesn't call out CNN or the New York Times for not reporting Obama's policies, nor the other successes of President Trump.

---
Online headline: "'Ashamed' Comey weighs calling himself Canadian, rips Trump border actions during Ireland visit" -- Hmmm, once you get by "why is Comey let out of the country under these circumstances", we now deal with: Hmmm...hold him to it if he shows back up at an American entry point..have him produce a Canadian passport.

---
HuffPOOPOO headline: "Senate Candidate Arrested Trying To Deliver Supplies To Detained Kids * Maine Democrat Zak Ringelstein tried to deliver water, toys and books to children housed in a Texas detention center. " -- Typical DIMocrat...won't work to get things done through channels so he puts himself ABOVE the law meant to protect children from political predators.

---
L-E story: "The Blue Devils’ third consecutive state championship further cemented the program’s dynasty and has earned two members the top All-Bi-City honors. Ben Carr has been named the All-Bi-City Boys Golfer of the Year, while Chris Parker once again has been named Coach of the Year." -- The L-E did it again...missed the opportunity to tell it's readers that Ben Carr also was tied for 3rd in the recent 89th Southeastern Invitational Amateur Championship. Oh, might as well mention another Columbus golfer, Stanton Schorr actually WON the tournament..

---
L-E guest commentary: - Los negeles Times headline: "Caging immigrant children and parents isn’t the answer" -- I agree...caging is not the answer...The WALL is the answer..if families can't get in illegally, the problem is solved for the future.

---
L-E guest commentary headline: "Officials argue over how to process migrant families
* BY MICHAEL D. SHEAR, RON NIXON AND KATIE BENNER * New York Times" -- Arguing over how to process migrant families? DOH! Like any other criminal families...

---
You know, if the NYT spent half as much time and space reporting the facts about Trumps successes in the economy , the jobs market, the regained respect, keeping his promises , and North Korea instead of picking apart his campaign rally rhetoric, people might start respecting the NYT again. And, if the NYT had reported the scandals of Obama and Hellary with the same fervor, America would have been great again years ago, and Trump probably wouldn't have had to run and become our greatest president...at least since Reagan.

Now that the Chamber has 'fessed up' to paying almost $100K for a new 'motto', when was the last time we saw anything "Amazing" happen in Columbus?

L-E story: "A $325 million Amazon facility being built near Birmingham will initially employ 1,500 people fulfilling orders, and the workforce could swell even more, the online retailer and local officials said Friday * Birmingham is one of the last U.S. cities its size without an Amazon facility to fulfill orders. The region previously submitted a proposal for Amazon’s new headquarters but wasn’t selected. * Amazon already has a sorting and shipping center in Mobile. That facility, valued at $30 million, has more part-time and seasonal workers than the operation being built in Bessemer."-- Thinking about the Chamber of Commerce here in Columbus it's hard to comprehend why it's excited about it's new motto...In this story, we learn that not only is Birmingham getting an Amazon Fulfillment Center but Mobile already has one.. Coupled with reports that Macon and Atlanta are already inline.

Hmmm.. Maybe our Columbus Chamber of Commerce can recoup some of the $100K it spent on it's new "slogan" by franchising it Birmingham, Mobile, Macon and Atlanta..With Amazon Fulfillment Centers on board, they have two things Columbus doesn't have..Amazon Fulfillment Centers ....and...Chambers of Commerce getting some "AMAZING" results.

From the "Forrest Gump, Stupid is as STUPID does" department - Online headline: "Rhode Island Passes Bill to Keep Trump Off 2020 Ballot If He Doesn't Release Tax Returns " --
And who gives a CRAP what Rhode Island says..it is bound by the Constitution. Hopefully , Rhode Island should be shunned from US protection and freedoms! Tax Returns ARE NOT A REQUIREMENT of candidacy.. what Rhode Island SHOULD do is require ALL presidential primary candidates to provide a verifiable certified BIRTH CERTIFICATE showing a candidates is a natural citizen as REQUIRED by the Constitution.

Traveling on Sunday gives you a new perspective about why we love Chick-fil-a. As we passed two in search of an agreeable stop for lunch, we all remember that Chick-fil-a honors us by honoring God. It's a message we carry with us.

Talk about strange roadside sights...how about a hearse pulled off on the side of the road..window open...no driver..swamp on the passenger side.

Oh, yes, it's now 5 weeks since Zeph Baker committed to turning in his campaign donations and expenditures. Does the Board of Elections have ANY teeth... Also, this is not a first time action of Baker.. shouldn't there be a "3 strikes and you're out " policy for crimes like this?

---
Online headline: "Bernie Sanders' income tops $1M for second year in row, reports say" -- Two years in A ROW! Don't you know Bernie is becoming a ig fan of Trump's economy... well, he sure is benefiting... wonder if he's voluntarily donating more than his owed taxes? Maybe he's paying off some students' loans or for "free college". ... Nah..

From the "bubble burst for Mayor Tom-LYING-son's assertions" department - Online headline/story: "Malliotakis hosts property tax protest at Miller Field * Over 200 Staten Island property owners, alongside local elected officials and candidates, gathered at Miller Field on Saturday for a property tax rally hosted by Assemblywoman Nicole Malliotakis (R-Staten Island/Brooklyn). * For context, Mayor de Blasio paid approximately $3,500 in property taxes on his Park Slope home valued at $1.7 million, according to Malliotakis. * An anonymous Staten Islander brought their statement, showing they had paid over $12,000 in property taxes on a home valued just under $1.2 million." -- Hmm.. NYC homeowners are paying $3,500.00 on a $1.7 Million dollar home and another pays $12,000.00 on a $1.2 Million dollars home.. wonder if NYC is using the same software that Mayor Tom-LYING-son brought into Columbus? Now.. comparatively, a $1.6 Million dollar home (parid: 181 006 006 with H1 Exemption) paid for in 2011 in Columbus, and now valued at $1,430,590.00 had a 2017 tax bill of $22,956.56. And New Yorker's are complaining ?

---
Online headline: "Border patrol agents are stopping people on highways in New England to check their citizenship" -- Hmmm... well... BUILD WALL there. too.. especially while Canada is also interested in stopping illegal entries from North and South America.

Here's another complexity our GA legislators didn't consider in the new cellphone law taking affect in July 1, 2018.. Holding a cellphone.. even touching it or setting it on your lap are illegal.. but what about Apple watches strapped onto drivers' wrists? Have you ever tried to push a mini-button on an Apple watch while not looking at it?

I think I have found the ultimate item of futility... near a public beach access in Fernandina Beach, FL.. there stood a Port-a-potty... I saw a mom running anxiously with her child... as they neared.. the mom stopped, and grabbed her head, in anguish .. or frustration... as she noticed the gleaming new padlock installed in the Port-a-potty door.

Columbus will benefit from the Supreme Court ruling about Internet sales companies having to collect and disburse sales taxes. Some economists are predicting Amazon to "win" over smaller internet companies who won't be able to absorb all the new costs..It's probably true...but the economists aren't thinking about Walmart which is even better set than Amazon.

From the "surely this is an April 1st joke" department - Online headline: "Juan Williams named Television Broadcast Journalist of the Year" -- Good grief.. Fox picked up Williams full time as a sympathy move after Williams was fired by NPR over a comment he made, but it's been years since I started changing channels whenever Williams "opines" his ultra-liberalism..

---
Trump gave mainscream media what it said it wanted...but like the hit song in "The Greatest Showman", it's "Never Enough"...now or in the future. All mainscream media is doing is shirking it's duty to report the news that's actually news..like the economy, the job growth, the repatriation of American jobs and businesses, the rebound of worldwide respect, the North Korean reconnect, and the end of political correctness.

Last January, a suicide terror attack on an AMTRAK train filled with Republican Congresspersons occurred in West Virginia... why don't we know more about it by now?

Online story: "When LaDawn "LBJ" Jones walked into a meeting at work a couple of months ago, she was hit with a serious case of "black girl magic." * Jones, the city solicitor in South Fulton, Georgia, was meeting for the first time with the city's municipal court staff. As she entered the room, she realized she was looking at something she'd never before seen in her legal career. * Everyone in the room looked like her. * "I walked into a very small conference room, and I noticed that it was all black women," Jones told CNN. "I kind of got that feeling of 'this is nice -- this is exciting.'" -- "this is nice"? "this is exciting"?.. in what way... does she believe that all black female women's staff would be fairer to her take on justice?

Online headline: "This is the FBI agent who worked on Hillary Clinton probe, labeled Trump supporters 'retarded' and texted 'f**k Trump' to her colleague lover - seen for the first time since her identity was revealed after release of IG report *  Sally Moyer, 44, was named as the FBI agent who traded anti-Trump texts that were seen in the 568-page inspector general report released last Friday * Moyer was identified only as 'Agent 5' in the report, but her name was released by Congressman Mark Meadows during a congressional hearing this week" -- Let's pray that ALL the FBI personnel involved in the attempted coup to elect Hellary are brought to justice!

Speaking of Columbus' tax valuations.. I saw where the USAA Building at the corner of Veterans and Whittlesey was being re-leased to Navy Federal..According to the tax database, that property is FMV at $1,685,263.00 and has some 8,200 sq ft under 1 roof.. that comes to a value of $205.00 a square foot.. not too bad or too high for such an expensive, or as the L-E describes it "PRIME", location... but then we look closer.. hidden in the descriptions is that there are two other buildings on that property...and that the three building total over 23,000 sq ft.. that means that the 3 building are FMV'd at ONLY $73.00 a square ft.. that seems a "little" lite for such valuable property made more valuable when the Whittlesey Ave widening was completed.. My personal home is valued at over $100.00 a sq ft. Something just doesn't pass the smell test...

What's with Congressional Caucuses? BLACK Caucus..FREEDOM Caucus...how about just a Congress of Representatives representing their constituents and doing what's best for America's future!

Online headline: "Hillary Clinton Raised $1.5 Million to Help Kids Torn From Their Families at the Border" --"RAISED"? ..Why didn't she QUIETLY donate her OWN or FOUNDATION money?

You know, there was a vote on an immigration reform bill that included 'the Wall' funding (which would STOP altogether illegal crossing by unaccompanied minors). Only 193 of the 235 Republicans voted FOR it. The Republican Party should remove the 42 who didn't vote FOR it from any Party support during future elections.

Islam is a religion of peace...Islam is a religion of peace? Have advocates of this ever considered that the god of Islam feels people he hasn't convinced should be killed by those who do believe in him?

Remember those Lee Iaccoca ads when he said, "Lead, follow, or get out of the way!" Well, it's certainly more true for Congress today...lead or follow, but get out of Trump's way!

L-E headline/story: "White House proposes to merge 2 federal agencies * The White House on Thursday announced a proposed overhaul of the federal government that would merge the Labor and Education departments, consolidate a slew of social safety net programs under a renamed health agency and reorganize federal food safety functions." -- Go Trump! Re-organizing government smaller..more efficient..is something no establishment Republican or any DIMocrat president would do.

---
L-E headline/story: "Year’s best Eagle Scout project in U.S. produced in the Columbus area * Nathan (Fain) is a member of Troop 326 in LaGrange, which is part of the Columbus-based Chattahoochee Council of the Boy Scouts of America." -- Sadly we have to ask, "WHEN the Chattahoochee Council will have to change it's name?"

---
From the "fallacy of liberalism helping" department - Online headline/story: "15-year-old migrant boy runs away from Texas child care facility * A 15-year-old boy ran away from a Texas shelter for migrant children, police said Sunday. The boy is now in Mexico, according to a source with direct knowledge of the incident. * The boy ran from Casa Padre, a child care facility in Brownsville, on Saturday, and was in conversations to be reunited with a man whom he called his father, the source said. * There had been a discrepancy in a DNA test, and before they could be sorted out, the child ran away, according to the source." * "As a licensed child care center, if a child attempts to leave any of our facilities, we cannot restrain them," the statement said. "We are not a detention center. We talk to them and try to get them to stay. If they leave the property, we call law enforcement." -- Heh heh heh.. "DNA discrepancy"? "we cannot detain them"? Who knows how many kids have been released to undocumented "family" members since a liberal judge determined that minors cannot be contained but 20 days.

---
L-E story: "As many as a dozen election officials attended the March 2, 2017, Las Vegas meeting, with a number of them accepting airfare, lodging, meals and, according to one participant, a ticket to a show on the Strip from their voting systems vendor, Nebraska-based Election Systems and Software (ES&S). Two other panel members said their state election boards paid for their trips." -- Hmmm... and the first question each election official should be asked... under oath... whether they voted for Trump or Hellary (et al) in 2016...

Oh... am getting responses from the GA DOT concerning my questions about the River Road "roundabout".. so far, I've learned the GA DOT says the same think our new mayor-elect says.. the bids haven't been let out. You know, in 2014, the estimate was openly discussed at $1.5 Million and the state was paying that (from TSPLOST revenue as I remember). After revamping the plans and re-discussing them in 2016, the projected cost was $2.7 Million with the state still paying that $1.5 Million , and the City coughing up the other $1.2 Million. We should be really worried now, because the GA DOT will not estimate the projected cost at present..

From the "say huh? department - L-E headline: "Trump aims to strip illegal immigrants of due process" -- Wait a minute... since when does an illegal alien have the rights granted to US citizens?
