I called in a prescription refill two hours before I went..when I got there, I spotted a shopper heading to their car, stood nearby, and watched as they unloaded, then asked for their cart. The I went shopping, took my cart to the pharmacy, got my refill and they rung up my other purchases as well. Total time in a check out line was 4 minutes.

I was actually proud of our MCSB for not panically shutting down the school system! While the University System can do so because students usually have a lesson synopsis for their classes, plus online access, they can continue pretty much as normal, but the K-12 system is not so independent.. calling off classes at this point would be too similar to past experiences when schools have been shut down because they EXPECTED SNOW in a few days, and the snow didn't happen.
UPDATE: The MCSD came back and canceled school this weekend, but I'm still proud they thought it through instead of "jumping at shadows".
