Since the GA Presidential Primary was moved and will be held in conjunction with the General GA Primary in May, all early votes cast for presidential choices and local referendums should be vacated... All that have already voted early (or absentee) will have to vote again anyway, so by eliminating the early votes, there will be less confusion... and a lot less chance of double voting (fraud)... if every voter in May gets the same ballot as every other voter living in the same districts.

You know.. while shopping yesterday, I watched a woman pull a half-dozen well-worn reusable shopping bags out of her tote bag.. and lay them on the check out counter at the grocery store. I thought to myself... :i bet those bags have never been cleaned or sterilized in their live, and who knows what germs lurk in/on them.. and she just laid them down on the place my food purchases will soon be placed... I reversed my course and went to another check-out station."

Columbus Ledger-Enquirer headline: "Virus scrambles Democratic contest as three states vote" -- 3 states actually did primaries yesterday, FL, IL, and AZ..Ohio postponed it's until June 2..Two of the states, FL and IL were no surprises.. Bernie was not going to do well in any Southern state, but with FL having many Cuban refugees, no Communist is going to do well there.. One interesting aspect of FL is that Biden did not get the percentage of Democrat support as did Hellary in the 2016 Primary. Biden also won IL but as Obama's VP, he should have. Now, Arizona leaves some unanswered questions.. Biden got the most votes, but ... and it's a BIG BUT...Biden got only 43% of the AZ Democrats votes.. In other words, Bernie and "neither of the above" got 57% of the vote.

Am looking at a list of local Columbus, GA events in the Columbus L-E that have been canceled or postponed.. and have to shake my head a bit... I understand events being canceled/postponed for March.. Even April (especially if it involves out-of-town performers), but am curious why events in May.. and JUNE... being canceled at this times.

Columbus L-E headline: "Social Distancing 101, from the ‘Miss Manners’ of germs" -- I guess the next year's Webster's Dictionary already has it's 2020 "word/phrase of the year" picked out.... "Social Distancing"... and wonder how it will be pertinent in every day conversations once the Covid-19 panic has dissipated.
