From the "back stabbing partisan politics" department - Online headline/story: "Obama's Ebola czar says coronavirus will 'explode' in weeks * In 2014, Obama appointed Klain to coordinate the U.S. response to that year’s Ebola outbreak. * Klain was also the chief of staff to Vice Presidents Al Gore and Joe Biden and is now an adviser to Biden’s presidential campaign. * He said it is too late for the U.S. to control a massive spike in new infections over the next few weeks because of testing kit shortfalls and other planning failures." -- Good grief! Klain didn't get appointed Ebola Czar until October of 2014, long after the CDC sent a team of only 5 to Africa in March, and 2 months AFTER the first Ebola patient arrived in the US.. Trump is way ahead of the game...

Online headline: "California Gov. Gavin Newsom: 56% of Calif. could get infected" -- Yeah.. because most of California has pre-existing mental sicknesses proven by the people they vote for to run their state and who they send to Washington.

Whatta day Thursday was for Columbus, GA.. new flooding at the Government Center with "bomb threat" thrown in.. "bomb threat" proved bogus, but I'd investigate all the Council members who are promoting the $350 Million "SPLOST" referendum to raze and replace it.

From the "there are still things that amaze us" department - Online headline/story: "Washington Post issues correction after Jennifer Rubin's attack on McConnell was debunked * The Washington Post was forced to issue a correction after columnist Jennifer Rubin attacked Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell, R-Ky., for allegedly not rushing to pass financial aid during the national coronavirus emergency. * In a column published Tuesday that trashed President Trump's handling of the coronavirus outbreak, the self-described "conservative blogger" took a swipe at McConnell, comparing him to a sloth for his inaction on a relief package. * However, Rubin's characterization of McConnell turned out not to be accurate. * The paper updated its correction, clarifying, "The bill was delayed due to procedural issues in the House and a vote on an amendment sought by Sen. Rand Paul (R-Ky.)."" -- Dang - the WaPo rarely corrects it's misinformation, but this may be a first for anything related to a Trump/McConnell story...

---
You know, before ANY Pelosi money from the Covid-19 emergency aid bill gets sent to any foreign country, there NEEDS TO BE an extensive investigation to make sure no Biden family members serve on any boards that benefit from the aid.

From the "this musta been figured using New Math" department - Columbus L-E headline/story: "Columbus pair get prison time for trying to defraud IRS of over $200,000 * sentenced (Keven) Walker to 4½ years in prison. He sentenced Gist to three years and nine months. He also ordered them to pay $33,446 in restitution to the IRS." -- Wait a minute! Cheat us taxpayers out of $200,000.00 and only have to payback $33,000? That's not the IRS' money ..it ours.. this is NOT justice for the taxpayers.

I'm really concerned about the direction Fox News has taken.. first, Fox has a "banner" on the TV broadcast that blares "CORONA PANDEMIC" all day while it's really nothing more the "Corona PANDERING", but then they've put a new (or maybe she's just not well known yet) anchor on also.. I think her name is Debbie Downer.

The United Stares.....One Nation Under God.... Timothy Cardinal Dolan of New York reminded us of this during an Interview on Fox News Wednesday morning.. Hmmm.. One Nation... Under God.. Would someone PLEASE remind the Democrat Party and MSM-13 of this...especially Pelosi and Schumer, and the NYTIMES and LA TIMES.

---
It's sad that MSM-13 is manic over 11,400 worldwide deaths related to the coronavirus, yet MSM-13 yawns that so far this year, there have been over 9,300,000 deaths by abortions.

---
Seriously..what does Sen Chuck Schumer do "good" for his state and our country? When we see him, it's in front of a microphone in front of either MSM-13 reporters or empty seats in the Senate chamber after adjournment giving a speech or complaint about President Trump. Just once, I'd like to hear him say , "President Trump, you have your hands full ..how can I help?"

---
I am tired of NY Gov Fredo Cuomo being covered by Fox and talking about taking full responsibility for things when he should get put of his chair and DO SOMETHING other wringing his hands while yakking.

---
You know. It's self-serving at best that the Democrats haven't challenged China for not taking blame for Covid-19. I guess that if the Dems say anything bad about China, then China would probably release it's info on Creepy Joe and Hunter Biden's deals with China.

One thing about shopping for groceries this week is that the bread is fresh without having to check what color the "twist tie" is.

---
One thing I noticed shopping is that there gave been no major runs on the wine stock. .My guess is because most of it came from California, Italy, or France.

---
From the "excessive emoting" department - Columbus L-E headline: "Virus threatens future of Springer and RiverCenter" -- Hmmm.. well it IS the arts community.. of course the drama is a bit overacting!

---
Columbus Ledger-Enquirer headline/story: "CSU TO ADMIT STUDENTS WITHOUT SAT, ACT SCORES * Columbus State announced Friday that it will admit students applying for summer and fall 2020 semesters without an ACT or SAT score, if they have a sufficiently high GPA." -- Good grief! High school students no longer take a graduation test, grade level no reading standard is required, and some systems (I recall Dougherty County specifically) literally GIVE every student a "B" GPA average so they qualify for the :Hope Scholarships", there are already too many "college students" required to take remedial core classes as it is.. Can I get a refund on the tuition I paid CSU for my daughters tuition since, obviously, the value of a CSU diploma is doomed to take a "hit".

Hey Democrats! You salivate over "free healthcare, but look at the Covid-19 figures overseas compared to the situation here.. Well, if you elect someone who wants to give "free healthcare" like the overseas countries, take a real good look at how "free healthcare" in America will become...

---
What! Rosie O'Donnell is only 58 today! It feels like she's been an albatross on America's future for more than my lifetime.

---
Columbus L-E headline/story: "Bloomberg gives Democratic party $18M * The money, which is being transferred from Bloomberg’s presidential campaign, will help the DNC hire hundreds of organizers in key general election states like Pennsylvania and Wisconsin." -- "being transferred from his campaign account"? Now this is a real abuse of campaign funding.. it's one thing to allow a person to fund their own campaigns with their own money, but he should not be able to redistribute those funds which won't count against the restrictions of him giving it in his own name.
