A little bit of clarity please, as a quit claim doesn't have to involve "dollars". But as glad as I am that Mayor Skippy is focused on our City's history, I think that should take a back seat to the Mayor and Council focusing on all the things/assets the City already owns (Oh.. and one of which was buying those Liberty Apartments as a political favor that still is a drain on City coffers). We've seen how unfocused Mayors and Council have been in letting the Government Center deteriorate, and we're aghast at how unfocused Mayors/Councils have been on the condition of our streets (while building bike trails/lanes instead, so let's hope this Mayor/Council can prioritize why they are sitting in elected "leadership" positions.

Let's talk about Columbus' roads.. I want to spotlight "Cloverdale", a two block connector between Whitesville and Mobley Roads. A couple or three.. maybe even 4m years ago, a number of car jolting potholes were addressed and improved.. in the past year, many of the fixed spots deteriorated and the City re-fixed them. Well some are back, including a real alignment monster at the west intersection of Cloverdale at Whitesville.. It's one thing that the City tries, but obviously the materials being used are not good enough to last..
