I've had 3 deaths in my family at younger ages than this woman be hospitalized with emphysema and minor colds who became dehydrated, and all 3 died with pneumonia associated with their re-hydration . The I went shopping, took my cart to the pharmacy, got my refill and they rung up my other purchases as well. Total time in a check out line was 4 minutes.

While the University System can do so because students usually have a lesson synopsis for their classes, plus online access, they can continue pretty much as normal, but the K-12 system is not so independent.. calling off classes at this point would be too similar to past experiences when schools have been shut down because they EXPECTED SNOW in a few days, and the snow didn't happen.

What is the GA House "thinking"! Cutting the teacher pay raises was ammunition alone to waylay Republican's seeking office in November, but adding a tax on a successful business is plain stupid! Even more insulting is designating it for "mass transportation" which is what the Uber/LYFT users are trying to avoid to begin with!

Columbus Ledger-Enquirer headline: "No rite of spring: Masters postponed due to virus" -- How do you postpone golf events... especially majors like the Tour Championship at Sawgrass and The Masters at Augusta National? Sure, they can be postponed but at what expense? Some other tournaments (and their charities) will suffer greatly from having to compete for TV coverage and fan support. And Augusta will be especially hit hard as when do the azaleas bloom again.. and no who has experienced being at Augusta or watching CBS zoom-in to them on nearly every hole will feel that the Augusta experience will be the same?
