Hey...North Columbus, GA voters! You South Harris County voters, too. Stay on top of what our state legislators try to do with redistricting...the first "suggestion" put us in District 2 but a subsequent suggestion did put us back in District 3 where we want to be. If you thought differently, you'd agree with me that you want Congressman Drew Ferguson standing up for us against the Democrats plan to violate our 4th Amendment Right protecting our bank accounts from illegal searches by the IRS.

Online story: "One of America's largest teacher's unions and the Department of Education (ED) announced a settlement on a key loan forgiveness program ( Public Service Loan Forgiveness Program (PSLF): created by Congress in 2007, enables government and non-profit employees with federally-backed student loans to apply for forgiveness after proof of 120 monthly payments under a qualifying repayment plan.) used by public service workers. * The American Federation of Teachers (AFT) hailed the "landmark settlement" in the case of Weingarten v. DeVos — originally filed in July 2019 and titled after the AFT President Randi Weingarten and former Education Secretary Betsy DeVos — as an agreement that will "hold the federal government accountable for its failure to manage the Public Service Loan Forgiveness program. * " -- "hold the federal government accountable"? Good grief! If there's any group who should be compensated for the lack of accountability of the federal government, it's parents who have suffered soaring educational costs for paying for their children's college education! Even the state governments using the lottery have escalated educational costs by keeping the colleges "flush" with funds that keep the colleges from having to be conscious of the real costs to students/parents.

If you have a student in a college now (or anytime in the 21st Century, take a good look at the semester "fees" you HAVE to pay (about a $1,000 +/- the last time I paid it for my children in 2019) on top of tuition and books, even if your child lives off campus. One aspect is particularly grievous... every non-scholarship student pays into a fund that pays for scholarships for other parents children! Hey, if a college wants to give out scholarships, let that money come from personal donors... whether for athletic or non-athletic students.

Online headline/story: "Biden’s Supreme Court Commission Warns Adding Justices May Not ‘Serve Democratic Values’ * A presidential commission issued a draft report on potential reforms to the U.S. Supreme Court on Thursday that expresses skepticism about progressives’ push to add justices to the court, warning that doing so could undermine the court’s legitimacy and would be viewed as a partisan maneuver that could backfire on its proponents." -- Hmmm...To me, a Justice's legacy should be based on his/her consistency of using the Constitution as the basis of his/her decisions. Those who entwine their personal agenda into their decisions should be called out for doing so. Theoretically, all decisions should be 9-0.. or 8-1 at a minimum .. to insure that the Supreme Court has done true due diligence in covering all aspects v]brought into question...

WTVM-TV9 - headline/story: "Muscogee Co. residents will vote on SPLOST during special election * On the line is an extra penny tax for new construction and renovations on city government projects. The total price tag- $400 million." -- "The total price tag- $400 million"? What a con! The "$400,000,000.00" is just what they want to spend... but there is nothing that can be included to cover "ongoing maintenance/repairs", and what we are experiencing with the current Government Center is destined to re-occur for your children and grandchildren..... Also.. it's not "a penny" you're voting on... it's 12.5% INCREASE in sales taxes for things you use everyday.. and if you vote "NO", in 9 months, we could... (could meaning the T-SPLOST tax "could" come off.. but we know better) actually get a reduction (in 9 months) to 7% sales taxes...

WRBL-TV3 headline: "Columbus | Dave Platta becomes Pacelli’s play-by-play announcer" -- Ironic, isn't it.. that WRBL-TV3 updates us on former WTVM-TV9's iconic sports reporter who made his choice on a mandate to get a vaccine shot... I'm going to try to get to a game! Go Dave!

From the "why is this news?" department - Online headline: "Google, Amazon employees publish anonymous letter denouncing the companies for contract with Israel" -- "anonymous letter"? That's about as courageous as a drive by shooting or a "suckerpunch"!

Online headline: "Online headline: "Treasury defends Biden's IRS bank-monitoring proposal as objections mount * White House estimates bank-snooping policy could raise $463B" -- Good grief! This is a direct violation of our 4th Amendment... unlawful searches! Our GA-3 Congressman, Drew Ferguson, was on Fox Business protecting our Constitutional Rights yesterday.. haven't seen GA-2 Congressman Bishop do the same.. Hey! I want to see the IRS examining the accounts of Bezos, Musk, 6uckerberg, Gates, Buffet, Oprah, Soros, and every Congressperson, and especially the Clinton Foundations and every MSM principals for every transaction of $600.00 or more!
