We have got to do something about street violence in Columbus, GA. Went to my grand daughter's soccer game Saturday at THE Soccer Complex Saturday morning only to hear 2 different volleys of 3 and 4 gunshots within a block of the complex and Fort Middle School. It's not like this was unexpected for the area (other than it was MORNING versus night time) as someone was killed a couple of weeks ago just a block from the main entrance to THE Soccer Complex !!

It's especially sad for Columbus, GA citizens.. Our City owned facility was "given" over to a private group back in the 1980s, then a couple of years ago, Columbus Regional "sold" itself to Piedmont. This story.. is horrible.. I'm sure there are circumstances Piedmont can point to that aren't delved into in this story, but it's already cannon-balled into a disaster PR wise..
