Oh! Another unanswered question: Then, there's the official number of students who have enrolled for the 2021-22 school year... This is a very important number as it determines how much state money is sent here. Due to the reluctance to publish this number, I'm going to guess it's even lower than predictions of a "worst case" scenario. Hopefully not, but as I understand it, the MCSD has no plan to cut back employees until the next school year which will cut severely into our fund balance to keep unneeded employees on the payroll...
