I've had my vaccine shots.. I chose to do so using logic.. my age, current health situations (lung cancer survivor of 16+ years), and wanting to be able to attend Grandparents Day at schools loaded with every kind of germ possible. I don't wear a mask.. but keep one in my pocket if a business I want to do business with wants it's customers to wear masks. I wish every health care worker was vaccinated (or proven to have antibodies) as generally only sick people go to see them just as I so. I believe businesses are flat wrong to mandate their employees to get vaccinated or be fired.. There's a much more logical way to accomplish this.... and it will also work in non-healthcare fields as well. A company policy stating that those vaccinated will get a bonus and raise now and each year, and those who choose not to get vaccinated will get a salary cut now, and no longer be eligible for future raises until they do. The vaccination bonuses and raise would be a bargain compared to trying to hire replacements.
