Weekend Update

The Masters finished on schedule.. even though weather wise, there was plenty to be concerned with it not... Jon Rahm brought it home, but the day.. tournament belonged to Phil Mickelson.. Phil fired a 7-under par 65 and finish in a tie for 2nd place, and set a record becoming the oldest player to finish in the Top Five in the history of the Masters. Close behind thrill wise was Russell Henley, now a Columbus, GA homeowner, and.. get this, married to one of my bride's sister-in-law's brother's daughter... technically, Russell Henley is my bride's and my nephew.

The Masters needs to replace CBS! Remember when only Cadillac and IBM were the only sponsors and they only ran a couple of ads per hour? Remember when we could listen without the announcers more concerned at how many words they could get on air than in what's going on out on the course.

After seeing the "payouts" for the Masters, now we know why Rory McIlroy lost interest in making the cut... guess since he wouldn't have had a shot at winning, he didn't want toy stay 2 more days and only get $45-50,000.00 in pay. He's only in it for himself.

By "how", I mean "How do these three people's thoughts and opinions not be front page news on a regular basis? They are so influential in the "White House" day-to-day" operations, yet MSM does not interview or cite them on important situations controlled by the White House.

In other words this was an opportunity for a liberal DA to enforce the law governing true AUTOMATIC assault weapons, and the DA made the felon a victim of a citizen recognizing the situation and preventing what could have been an even worse situation.
