Good morning Columbus, GA! Right here at Christmas we get an EXTERNAL audit report that our City is missing some $45,000,000.00 … Of course our Director of Finance disputed the numbers.. She said that “there is about $2.5 Million from 500-plus accounts currently pending processing" but “there is no missing money in the revenue base to the tune of $45 million dollars” and that “the missing $2.5 million comes as a result of complications due to understaffing during the pandemic” -- Maybe there

was “understaffing” then but there was certainly no “understaffing” in the City Manager’s Office.. Heck, he’s got TWO Assistant/Deputy City Managers..

Hey, Mayor.. would you please pass this along to Councilors Huff and Tucker… they seem to have “blocked” my e-mails so they may not know about this situation.

Speaking of audits… who does the property assessments of City employees and elected officials? Been doing a little “research”, and some things look “suspect”…on exemptions…

Found this sorta interesting… Steam Mill Road has recently been designated for three “double lane” roundabouts in a $22.5 Million dollar GA-DOT plan.. I question the “double lane” aspect as I do not think they are as easily negotiated as “single lane” ones, but more interesting is that we have an elected official and the City Manager who live on Steam Mill Road.. Pat Hugley-Green of the School Board, and our City Manager Isaiah Hugley.. Guess they feel they can get to work faster and raise our taxes and spend our money even FASTER….Wonder if they are attached at the hip?

We knew Congressman Sanford Bishop, D-GA2, is already under scrutiny in the House for some ethics investigation of various campaign spending issues, but here’s another one that’s even closer to home… DUAL Homestead Exemptions! His wife has a home listed in Muscogee County and he has one listed in Dougherty County… and both residences have Homestead Exemption status.. Hmmm… you have to wonder, also, about their voting addresses .

They are eager to elevate Hellary because she's motivated to make herself politically relevant again so they are praising her stance hammering HamASS's attacks on Jews, women, and children, but.. but they have conveniently "forgotten" how she addressed and treated hubby Bill's indiscriminant "BIMBO ERUPTIONS" with many women, and his relationship with the “conveniently” late Jeffrey Epstein.

There was a report about a slew of Chinese National men who illegally crossed our border into California yesterday.. One of the illegal aliens said they came in through Ecuador because Ecuador doesn't require travel Visas for Chinese citizens so they can leave and trek on through Mexico and cross in to the USA. Wow! That’s easier than Xi Jinping getting into California!

Wow! 2 weeks in a row we got the “Big Blue” automated garbage trucks in our neighborhood…and two weeks in a row, the automated truck left our can with the lid open.. Glad it didn’t rain and fill up the can with water mixed with waste residue! I’ve looked at number of “sales videos” for the “Big Blue” and similar garbage pick-up trucks, and haven’t seen one video that put the can back on the street with the top/lid open, yet every can in my Columbus, GA neighborhood was left with the lid opened… I’m guessing the “Big Blue” sales videos used a better can.. or perhaps the speed of the replacement action was slower and the top/lid closed as it should.. Maybe the external auditors can check it our for Council.
