Now… if Raffensperger wants to eliminate runoffs to save time and money for the state, then let’s do so fro the Party Primaries.. in fact, since both “Parties” are private enterprises, make the “Parties”, not the taxpayers, pay for their own primaries!

Earlier this year, Columbus GA Council announced that while all our trash .. in or out of the provided trash cans, would be picked up for the rest of 2023, but… BUT beginning in January, ONLY trash in the taxpayer provided cans would be picked up… Well this picture is pretty much what we have every post-Christmas Day pick-up.. What’s Council going to do about it next year… send me more cans or let it rot on the street?

Oh...The Rome, GA "Braves" are no longer the "Rome Braves"…. they are now the “Rome Emperors".. The owners had nothing exclusive to sell at the stadium that most Rome baseball fans didn't already own ,... Atlanta Braves hats and shirts.

Oh! Columbus, GA taxpayers are being set up... the Mississippi Braves will stay there once the owners get the boost in their contract renewal, and Columbus will get a either a Minnesota farm team or an "A" team that will never draw much of a crowd after the opening month....and Columbus GA Council will have another $50 Million in bond money to squander….

Columbus, GA...and myself personally, lost the presence of two local media giants... during the Christmas weekend .. We'll miss Jack Bassett and Mike Venable and the impact they gave the Columbus, Ga area.

Report Update: Yesterday, I reported a shooting at Peachtree Mall here in Columbus, GA, but a subsequent report stated for sure the shooting was outside, not inside as the previous article stated.. Hmmm.. but I still want to know if Peachtree Mall still employs it’s announced Canine Patrol inside…
