Below a MUST READ letter… while it’s a Columbus, GA specific as a direct response to the current City Manager’s attempt at intimidating 6 specific Councilors, but really aimed at all 10 Council members from pursuing accountability of his actions, every voter in every city, county, and state would benefit from her clarity in dealing with politicians/officials run amok! Toyia Tucker… if she hadn’t thought about it previously, should give great consideration to seek the Mayoral position of Columbus in the next race. I’ve been a fan of hers since her first attempt at wanting to serve the citizens of Columbus, GA in 2018…
“OpEd Title: Power Without Accountability Is Not
Leadership—It’s Control
By Councilwoman Toyia Tucker
Apparently, absolute power doesn’t just corrupt
absolutely—it also comes with a tailor-made suit, a flattering title, and a
sudden allergy to accountability.
Somewhere along the line, public service for some
has become synonymous with entitlement. What starts as a call to serve quickly
transforms into a desire to rule—trading humility for hubris, and turning what
should be a seat at the table into a crown on a throne. And once that crown
feels comfortable, the mission shifts: it’s no longer about the people, it’s
about preserving the position.
Let me be clear: I don’t write this from the
sidelines—I write this as someone in the arena. I am an elected official, and
with that comes a truth I fully embrace: I too must be held accountable.
Because accountability isn’t an insult—it’s a responsibility. It’s what
separates leadership from control, service from self-interest, and democracy
from something far more dangerous.
Power without accountability isn’t strength—it’s
ego in disguise. When leaders, whether elected or appointed, begin labeling
scrutiny as attacks, showing hostility toward differing voices, or silencing
those who challenge them, they are no longer leading—they are managing dissent.
And when managing dissent becomes the priority, governing ends.
Real leadership doesn’t stifle voices—it elevates
them. It doesn’t flinch at critique—it welcomes it. Because leadership, at its
core, is about listening, evolving, and remembering who gave us the privilege
to lead in the first place.
I’ve seen what happens when government forgets
that. Public trust erodes. Cynicism grows. And the space for progress becomes
suffocated by the need to control. That’s not just ineffective—that’s
dangerous. It’s how political monarchs are born in a country that was never
meant to have them.
If we want stronger communities, we need stronger
commitments to transparency, to honesty, and to the kind of leadership that
lifts people up—not locks them out. And that starts with all of us, in every
seat of power, recommitting to the truth: we are here to serve, not to rule.
Whether elected or appointed, no one is above
accountability. And the moment we believe we are is the moment we no longer
deserve the title.”

Wane Hailes, publisher at Courier Eco Latino, is
at it again! Now he writes: “What Are We Feeding Our Black Men? * ” * Let’s
talk about our young Black men—not to criticize, but to care, to reflect, and
to challenge ourselves as a community. * Because let’s be clear: there’s a
crisis happening right before our eyes. And it’s not just about crime
statistics, discipline issues, sagging pants, or how “these boys today have no
respect.” That’s surface-level stuff. The real issue runs much deeper. The
question we need to be asking is: What are we feeding them? * And
no, I’m not just talking about food—although, we’ll get to that. I’m talking
about the spiritual food, the emotional food, the cultural food, and yes, the
physical food we’re offering to this generation of boys who are trying to
become men in a world that often denies them the space or guidance to do so.” –
Hmmm… In a few words, what Hailes feeds is “Too Much BS!” Hey.. I’m not talking
about the expected meaning of “BS”, I mean “Too Much Black Sympathy!”… for
simply being Black. Young street “wise” children are not being
“fed” reality or facts… all young men..and young ladies, too, of all colors
need to be "fed" a diet of “there are Consequences for good as well
as bad actions”; they need to be “fed”… that hard work and perseverance
can overcome the worst of circumstances; they need to be “fed”.. especially
from the pulpit, that the 10 Commandments should be their guide to living; they
need to be “fed” skin color does not determine one’s enemies or one’s friends;
they need to be “fed” that respect is earned by one’s actions, and they need to
be “fed” that they, too, are valuable! Hailes does not preach any of this…

Online headline: "’60 Minutes’ Producer Bill
Owens Resigns Citing Inability to Make “Independent Decisions”

considered this a really good opportunity to prove himself an even better
Executive Producer than before. Obviously, neither he.. nor CBS ... had
confidence in him to do so.

a prerequisite of judges in the past?

this, would the school even brought it up?

8,000,000,000 people ... that's what..hmmm 1 WHO employee per 1,000,000
people? On a very good day, wonder what the wait time is to get an appointment?

Online headline: "Catholic group calls for
Marjorie Taylor Greene to be censured over Pope comment"

League has fervently gone after her, but was "zipper-lipped" silent
concerning JoKKKE Biden and his multitude of gaffes.

Online headline: "Matt Lauer Keeps a Low

Online headline: "Fury erupts over
‘unethical’ corporate sponsorship of White House’s beloved Easter tradition for
kids" * By Jack Hobbs * Several ethics experts have raised the
alarm over the fact that corporate entities are now able to sponsor official
government events. The report comes after several high-profile companies,
including Amazon , Meta and YouTube, have sponsored the annual
Easter Egg roll at the White House - and on the same day Pope
Francis died" -- What political bias! President TRUTH has saved millions
of dollars in what would have been tax dollars spent by bringing in private
sector sponsors (none of which supported his candidacy), and eviscerated the
long planned date of the Easter Egg event because the Pope unexpectedly died,
Now, if Biden had done the same as Trump, Hobbs would have extolled Biden's
vision to save tax dollars and honor the Pope! Now, if Hobbs wanted to expound
on what he considers "unethical", he could have written volumes on
Meta/Facebook alone for banning conservatives from posting in the past.

because if this was true, viewership would be growing.. What is true is that

MSNBC to hire them over honest reporters.

Online jibberish headline: "Rosie O'Donnell

her... and especially for Ireland!

Online headline: "Newsom on Democrats: ‘I

Online headline: "Joe Biden faced a massive

choice...

Online "headLIE": "Al Gore compares

Guess he's moving on from predicting when the East Coast of America (but not
the West one.. how can that be?) will be under water.

What a difference time makes! This week, Sen Chuck
Schumer labeled Republican President TRUTH as a “lawless, angry man”. A few
years ago, Schumer tripped over his own tongue praising the future
president, by telling the “The Apprentice” contestants he always knew Trump,
even as a young person, "was going to go places." Now it seems HELL
is the only place Schumer wants to send him…
