Golden Park is replaced by SIN-Over-us in less than a year, and the Water-Pad down on the river front gets replacement equipment in less than year, but our City Manager and Mayor Skippy have allowed public swimming facility repairs to fester for 5-to-7 years, and we still won't know they are ready until they are ready..

Online headline: "10 new EV charging stations now installed in Columbus. Here’s where they are" --  Why are taxpayers paying for EV chargers... especially ones that EV owners get to use "free"? Think about that... EV owners don't pay the state's gasoline taxes nor the state/city's 9% sales and SPLOST taxes. To boot, EV owners are basically getting free, preferred parking spaces in prime areas. Let's face it, if manufacturers want to make EVs, then they need to make such chargers available to encourage EV sales of their products.

You know, if a FAST EV "fill-up" takes 25-to-52 minutes at a special high-speed charging station, can you imagine the "line" trying to fill-up on a hurricane related evacuation route?

When you think about it, Columbus, GA area (even close Alabama) EV owners who use Level 2 or 1 public charging stations for free are using GA Power  electricity that non-EV owners in GA are paying for in their utility bills! There should be NO free EV charging!

Yes, finally.. the US Supreme Court "boxed the ears" of that District Judge that demanded Trump return an illegal alien he sent to an El Salvador prison  because she felt the illegal alien might be endangered by members from another gang there.. Hey.. by the judge's own concern, she's acknowledged the prisoner in question IS a gang member as he has previously indicated... and Trump's DOJ agrees, too!
