After the bulk of Columbus Councilors were blindsided  by Mayor Skippy the Poo's "100 Acre Scam", most citizens are glad that she wants voter input and transparency on additional additions to South Commons!  Mayor Skippy just admitted if he can't line up another $350 Million in new developments then his "end around" play to ram $50 Million for stadium bonds is going to come back and bite Columbus in the arse... and we already know space to do this is limited, and there's already going to be a huge obstacle for construction as the Oglethorpe Bridge is scheduled to be torn down for a rebuild soon.. Another aspect (the Development Authority) Hailes has bet his opinion on has already been SHOT DOWN... a woman has been brought in from outside Columbus, GA to head up the NEW "Choose Columbus" and her office will be set up in the same building as the Chamber of Commerce and the Development Authority TO GET THINGS DONE that the Chamber and Authority haven't!
