Columbus GA Mayor Skippy the Poo just presented the 2026 Fiscal Year Budget.. somebody told me it was in the Columbus GA Ledger-Enquirer (how about the "Courier Eco Latino"?), but I haven't seen it on the Columbus GA website....how come? Maybe it's because the Ledger-Enquirer is less accessible to Columbus, GA  citizens.....

I previously referred to District Judge Paula Xinis, of with female pronouns yesterday, but I saw a comment by a an elected official who used  "he" as a pronoun... I did note that Xinis had changed "he/she's" name to Paula but I did not know whether "Panagiota" is a traditional male or female Greek name.. Anybody know for sure.... either way?

Wow! The US Army, US Navy, the US Air Force, and the US Marines have all reported recruitment figures that exceed their goals! And with the new standards of physical strength applying equally to men and women, morale for both is higher. The main reason for this is women in combat now know they qualified by the same levels as the men, and the men know the women are qualified to "have their backs"!

We are hearing that the FAA still uses "floppy disks" in Air Traffic Control systems! With the multi-millions being spent on the Columbus GA airport structures and runways in the last few years, I'm going to be somewhat... NO .. very PO'd if our Traffic Control system still uses floppy disk systems... I haven't had a home computer in the last 15 years that even had a floppy disk drive! In fact, I bought an external Floppy Disk Reader to have if one day I ever needed to recover some pictures from one of my old camera floppies.. To date, it's still unopened in its original box.
