WRBL-TV3 online headline: "City Council votes 7-3 to terminate City Manager Isaiah Hugley seven months before his retirement" -- Yes! In the beginning, and for a long time, I supported Hugley, but... then came his ever increasing lack of transparency, and then failure to take leadership responsibility for personnel and "situations" that kept occurring and re-occuring. I lost trust in him. The vote should have been a unanimous 10-0 or at least a minimum 8-2 decision, but Columbus GA's Council did rise to the occasion even when Mayor Skippy the Poo wouldn't .

You know, Columbus GA Council is going to have to deal with possibilities of property tax increases.. I think Council needs to look at the part that SPLOST projects of the City and the School System cause in the circle.. While the SPLOST projects enable buildings, etc,  to be built at an accelerated pace rather than patiently waiting until growth can afford them, the SPLOST projects do not allow money to be raised for maintenance of them. So, maintenance dollars have come from the property taxes, which means old building maintenance funding has to take care of the new SPLOST buildings long before future property taxes provide such.. Hmmm… now it’s gonna be easier with a new City Manager!

Online headline: "Georgia student released from ICE custody calls for protections for dreamers" --  On what standing! She's neither a US nor GA  citizen, nor a legal immigrant, nor DACA eligible..nor are her parents.

---
Online "headLIE": "Whoopi Goldberg claims Memorial Day was ‘first time’ Trump honored Gold Star families" --  I remember when I really enjoyed Whoopi's roles in movies, but I can't ever remember liking her political rants.

---
Online headline: "Democrats launch statewide listening tour" --  What's new? The DemoKrats have always listened.... but they only listened to their own blather. And nothing has or will change in the near future.

---
Online headline: Kamala Harris tells audience to 'remember history,' warns current era parallels 'the 1930s" -- Hmmm.....so KamaLALA says to "remember history" but she fails to "remember" the "Jim Krow" era was governed by DemoKrats, and the 1964 Civil Rights Act would not have passed if not for Republicans... or that Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr was a Republican.

---
Online headline: "Mom in US for 24 Years Detained by ICE at Immigration Court" --  Hers was/is a crime without statute of limitations... whether caught at the border entering illegally, or caught 24 years later, it was always an arrest-able crime!

---
Online "headLIE": "Credibility crisis: Press dismissed Hur report on Biden's memory issues long before concerns became undeniable" --"headLIE"! Liberal media always KNEW, but just tried to ignore and avoid talking about it.

---
Online headline: "Early voting begins in Georgia PSC elections" --  Are polls open in Columbus, GA? Haven't seen any announcements....

---
Online headline: "Homan taunts AOC after arrest of House Democrat over ICE protest: ‘Waiting on the consequences" -- Hmmm...  I have an "elephant in the room" question: Why did NJ elect convicted criminal ex-Senator Bob Menendez's son to Congress?

---
Online headline: "Michael Goodwin: Scott Pelley’s anti-Trump diatribe was more of the same warped, distorted nonsense that puts the BS in CBS" --  Wow! And to think that CBS had entrusted "60 Minutes", its one time "Crown Jewel" investigative showcase to Pelley...   he should be renamed "Smelley". I wonder if he was auditioning for a job on "The VIEW".....or should I say "The POO"?

---
WRBL-TV3 online headline: "Popular Tri-City Latino festival cancelled for 2025" --  Hmmm... With the list of previous major sponsors, something sounds amiss...I noticed that there's no contact (E-mail address nor phone number to obtain info) access on the website.

---
Online headline: "NPR sues Trump over order to cut funds" --Hmmm.. using already collected tax funded "grant money" to sue the government for MORE tax funded "grant money". Is this not the greatest reason to cut NPR/PBS off the public dole!

---
Online headline: "Columbus GA to host grand opening of its first city-run splash pad. Details here" --  Hmmm... Columbus GA's  first "City-run" Splash Pad... based on past City-run water facilities, it'll probably also be the first City-rundown Splash Pad.. but there is more glimmer of hope in the future as we will have a new City Manager in charge of maintenance.

---
Online headline: "Supreme Court Divided On Trump’s Executive Order To End Birthright Citizenship" --  Hmmm... using the 14th Amendment to claim birthright citizenship for babies born to women who have illegally entered our country after its adoption on July 9, 1868, would be akin to a squatter couple breaking into YOUR house and having a baby born in it giving the baby legal ownership of YOUR house!

---
Online headline: "Illegal immigrant healthcare costs in blue state triggers intense budget debate" --  Here's hoping the House and Senate and DOJ/FBI will conduct an extensive investigation of California's voter registration database to make sure all voters are verifiable UNITED STATES CITIZENS  before the 2026 mid-tern election!

WRBL-TV3 online headline: "A plume of Saharan dust will move toward the Southeast this * States across the Southeast will notice a little more haze in the atmosphere but the overall concentration of dust will be fairly low. We won’t notice much of a difference except for vivid sunrises and sunsets along with hazy sunshine during the afternoon. *  While this may sound surprising or a little scary, it actually happens every year. From about the end of May through the beginning of July strong winds lift the dust, composed of tiny particles of sand and minerals, into atmosphere known as the Saharan Air Layer.” --  Hmmm.... and DemoKrats and MainScreamMedia will blame Trump and Internal Combustion engines for this naturally occuring annual event...

Have you seen the video of French President Macron being punched by his wife just before getting off a plane in Viet Nam? His “PR Respnse” was that is was just … basically… foreplay .. but seeing her reject his arm going down the steps told a different story. Then.. it got freakier.. Macon’s wife is ahis former teacher when he was 15 and she was 39, and her daughter was a friend of his… whatta memoir this could be…

A few weeks ago I mentioned how I thought that cocaine find in the foyer locker of the West Wing of the White House needed a new set of eyes on it. It didn't make sense to me that someone could drop it off on the way in and not leave fingerprints or DNA on it. Yesterday, it was announced a new look at it IS going to happen.

Online headline: "‘It would destroy Harvard as we know it’ : Harvard Prof. on Trump’s effort to ban international students" -- Hmmm...actually, what it will do is open up many more admission spots for American   citizens… and Harvard would have to change its curriculum back to “normal” to attract them..

---
Online headline: "8-year veteran, new officer: What we know about Columbus GA cops charged in shooting" --  If pulled over.. my then teen children would have  faced a harder time with me than the judicial system if they disrespected a police officer doing his/her job. Respect starts at home!

---
WRBL-TV3 headline: "Police: Valley toddler possibly shoots himself with unsecured gun, dies" -- Whoa! How does a 2 year old even pick up a heavy pistol, much less aim it at his/herself? Keep investigating!

---

---
Online headline: "Joe Biden in the Hot Seat: FBI Launching New Probe Into the Discovery of Cocaine at the White House" --  Let's get real... the only way that baggie of cocaine could be "print free" would be for the perp to have been wearing latex gloves when coming into the WH, and that's unlikely. Unfortunately, Hunter already has his 10-year pardon... well... unless we find out someone else turned on the auto-pen to sign it!
