Columbus GA was stunned at the death of J. Nathan Smith last week.. And considering his activism into local government issues, even more stunned at his death being reported as "suicide". Maybe it was... but as sketchy as local media coverage has been since Wednesday, doubt is considerable... and warranted. At this point, not many in Columbus are buying this scenario.. It reminds me of the "suicides" by Clinton White House Counsel Vince Foster's in 1993, and Jeffery Epstein's prison cell one in 2019. Both were sorta given the "Nothing to see here.. shoo…please move along”... Hey, Columbus GA Council, don't let this get buried!
