When you think about it, drugs to transition hormone levels that make men look/act more like women is, in a sense, a "Performance Enhancing Drug" which are already banned for men competing in men's sports. Why should "P.E.D." drugs be legal to enhance performance levels upward or downward?

For Columbus, GA to positively survive the future, four major changes in our election process need to be changed,,, and the quicker the better! First, all of our local non-partisan elections need to be conducted on the November General Election date… as it currently is, School Board and Council and the Mayoral elections are held at the same May/June dates as the Republican and Democratic Party primaries which means a much smaller percentage of Columbus voters actually determine our leadership…Secondly, all Districts for the School Board and Council need to be voted on in the same elections… splitting the Districts so only half are voted on at a time means no meaningful change is likely to happen when change is really needed.. Thirdly… we need term limits on all elected officials with taxing authority…that or an annual DOGE examination.. and fourthly, every 4 years, when a newly selected Council and Mayor are seated and sworn in, there should a “vote of confidence” taken to confirm whether the current City Manager is to retained or replaced… I would love to see or hear contradictory comments about any or all these 4 points…
