I did not watch the 2020/1 Olympics his past summer..The political aspect of the Olympics and the amount of political activism among the participants was a turn-off. Now the The Union Internationale de Pentathlon Moderne (UIPM) said it will replace riding with a different event for the 2028 games. Why.. because some @-hole German woman punched a horse. Good grief.. why didn't the UIPM just secure the offending German coach behind the horse then aggravate the horse until it kicked that woman until the horse... and UIPM.. were satisfied.

Yesterday, it was announced that the murderer of a 12 year old in Columbus, GA this past August was captured. I was also announced that homicide number "61" had been "notched up" ..Well, the 12 year old was homicide number 43 back in mid-August which gave us an average of a little over 5 homicides per month at that time, and were were thinking.. praying .. it could not get any worse. Well here we are in November, and we've suffered WORSE... In the 2 months 3 weeks since the 43rd homicide, we've had 18 MORE.... this period add more than 6.5 per month!.. And the HOLIDAYS are just coming upon us!!! I'm sure glad we don't have any gang problems like former Mayor Queen TT Tom-LYING-son kept insisting...

I watched.... well tried to watch ..Congressman Al Green, D -TX, try to "sell" the $0.55-to-$1.2 Trillion ...depending on what story you read..."infrastructure bill".. but seeing a Congressman.. sitting in an obviously secure private setting, wrapped up in patriotic flags, but wearing a mask that covered all of his face below his eyes, then keeping his eyes closed as he spoke raised a few questions to me.. first, we couldn't see his lips moving... yet the mask material "fluttered" on both sides so we know he was talking out of both sides, and with his eyes mostly shut, he didn't have to convince people of his sincerity looking them in their eyes. Republicans need to get get an even better "Contract with America" than Newt Gingrich penned in 1994 if they want to win big next November...

Not holding my breath because we're talking about New Jersey governorship, but as of early this morning Republican challenger Jack Ciattarelli has the lead (albeit very slim) over incumbent Democrat Governor Phil Murphy. In fact, a Monmouth University poll released last week had Murphy up 11 points. Of course.. (by design?) .."mail-in votes have been slow to be counted... guess the Dems haven't figured out how many more they'll have to add to assure Murphy wins...

Sadly, less than 11,000 voters cast votes in the $400,000,000.00 City SPLOST yesterday. Sadly because Columbus, GA has 130,000 registered voters. About 5,800 voters said "Yes", and 5,000 voters said "NO". When you think about how quietly the referendum was run during an off year election when there was no other elections on the ballot, most of the "Yes" voters were probably employees of the City and the biggest banking, contractors, and property developers in Columbus. This will make Columbus the state leader in a dubious category... beginning April 1st of 2022, WE WILL HAVE THE HIGHEST SALES TAXES IN THE STATE! In a way, Council has pull off the most devious April Fool's prank in our history. Shame on Council for scheduling this referendum on an off-year election date.
