I usually do not post on Saturdays, but this is too important:
News (as of late Friday) is that at least 71 people are confirmed dead in the current California fires is tragic..disturbing..news that there are over 1000 people unaccounted for is starling and horrifying. Pray for an abundance of miracles!
Better yet, you can help: I have a sister who lives in California with her family.. They are not in the directly affected areas. I contacted her Friday and asked for her recommendations of good organizations we could contribute to to help out reach programs for those so affected by the fires. She gave me these website addresses:

What is it with the ego of MSM-13...Jim Acosta is NOT CNN... he represents CNN.. and .. basically.. and way beyond the parameters of embarrassment.. but that's not the issue.. The White House has a perfect right to exclude a MSM-13 representative when he doesn't "play well with others", and the network that has an invitation should send a representative that is deemed respectful, even in questioning a president..

Democrat spinmeister ... Marie Barf...uh, Harf, says she feels the Democrats do not need a nasty battle for Speaker to start off their new majority term. Sounds a little...well actually A LOT hypocritical considering how they relished being as nasty as they possibly could be when attacking Judge Kavanaugh.

So Martha Fudge, D -OH, is being supported as a challenger to Nancy Pelosi.. we must wait now for the DNC to refer to Fudge as "uppity".... hmmm.. Pelosi.. and most of the Democratic Party may rue the day they advocated for blacks to vote as a bloc unit...

I'm sure there will be more to come of this, but did you hear of the voting protocol used in Maine's Congressional race.. Not only do you vote for a candidate by designating a candidate as #1, you also "rank" all the other candidates. In other words. you can rank your favorite #1, and the main opposition last. It provides for eliminations of last-place candidates and reallocation of votes. This was the first election this method has been used. In Maine's election, the Republican got the MOST 1st Place votes, but not 50%, and when the new voting protocol was instituted, he was "beaten" by the Democrat. A suit has been filed challenging the constitutionality of the 2016 law.. Sounds like a Democrat contrived voter control trick to me..

The flap over Trump's Income Tax forms is... well. just another Democrat/MSM-13 distraction ploy.. The US Government ALREADY HAS his forms.. the IRS has them, and is required by US Law not to disclose them to the public unless they are used in a suit for fraud against the filer.. And contrary to Democrat/MSM-13's claims, [no president is required to give them his/her income tax forms.

TREASON! Federal, State, and Local charges should be brought against every politician who voted to use tax dollars for this. Let;s face it, if private citizens feel this way, let THEM fund the lawyers out of their own wallets.

Online headline: "Insurgents seek female challenger to replace Pelosi" --
What hypocrisy! In the gender-neutral, gender irrelevance world of liberalism, why is gender being a factor? All a contender for the Speaker's job should have to do is just declare the his/her gender as what every other Democrat wants to deal with.

From the "worm has turned...my stomach" department - Online headline: "Michael Avenatti arrested by Los Angeles police for alleged domestic abuse" -- His defense is that he has NEVER physically abused a woman...I guess he's going with the "Clinton: it depends how you define physical abuse defense". Facts are that a woman with bruised appearance filed charges and @venatti was arrested, booked, and is out on bail, but you know, how ironically will it be that a lawyer, who would bring forth a falsifying woman to cast stones at Judge Kavanaugh, be he victim of a "rush to judgment", yet have none of the qualities of Judge Kavanaugh that reasonable people can use to support him...

What has happened to the fantasy minds at Disney? Rather than entertain us, Disney seems to want to parse the fantasies and tell us the background and WHY we should love the stories we grew up own, and now want to share with our grandchildren. We recently took our wonderfully imaginative 6 year old granddaughter to the new Nutcracker movie.. we ended up being spared watching the whole movie when the projection system failed, and we were given refunds. She.. yes our 6 YEAR OLD.. was relieved. It reminded me of the last Winnie the Pooh movie.. Disney did the same thing.. our granddaughter was BORED and antsy for the most of it, but the movie did show fun and joy in the last 10-15 minutes, and she ended up liking it. As it stands now.. we are very apprehensive about what Disney will do to destroy the whimsey and fun of "Mary Poppins" next month. Will "Mary Poppins" show up.. or will Disney really present us with "Mary POOPins"?

Though I'm sure it's for the WRONG reasons, MSM-13 is awfully concerned that the recent winner of the $1.5 BILLION dollar lottery has not come forward to claim the prize, and MSM-13 is overly-concerned that the winner might have to forfeit the prize if it's not present by April 21, 2019. Why? It's certainly not because they are excited for someone "not them" winning.. Now, I have a question the rest of America is probably asking: There's a possibility that the winning ticket has been lost, or destroyed, or even that the holder passed away before the "drawing", and he/she and his/her family never knew of there being THE winning ticket.. I, for one do not normally buy into the lottery.. but when it's a BILLION dollars, I can let go of a few bucks just because.. Now. my question: If the winner should forfeit, what happens to the money that obviously has to be put in escrow? Would it be put back into the pot and the next lottery drawing AFTER the 21st of April show a bump to over a $1.5 BILLION, or will that reserved cash simply become a "slush fund" to pay bonuses to Lottery Officials?

Wow.. did you see the "perks" that NYC and Northern Virginia gave up to land new Amazon HQ buildings? Seems it makes it easier for Amazon to attract more hi-tech employees at higher salaries than the norm because existing NewYorkers and Virginians will have to absorb the additional costs given to Amazon. Even base-Democrats didn't see this coming and are boiling mad.

In fact, to cover a million dollar 30-year, 4.5% mortgage payment requires an income of a minimum of $217,000.. and the minimum will escalate exponentially for the additional costs of taxes and insurances. Average San Francisco property taxes per Million dollars of property value are currently about $12,000.00, so that basically raise your mortgage payment to over $6,000.00 PER MONTH and probably adds another $45,000.00 to required income needs.. and we haven't gotten to the insurance. Makes you wonder how California Congressperson can live of the $175,000.00 annual salary the job pays.. I believe a forensic audit should be performed on ALL Congressperson to see where the minimum income comes from.. and we haven't even thrown in the expenses of a second home in Washington, DC.

You know the black bloc Democrat vote may regret supporting the Democrat effort to keep our border open so more and more illegal alien Latinos can come to America to seek their dream. Unfortunately, they will find the 'American Dream' they seek can only be achieved by government support of individual freedoms. What they are experiencing now from Democratic Party policies is the crippling yoke of Socialism, and that is what the Latinos are running away from. Eventually, the Latino vote will seek Republican association..well if the Republican gird their loins in conservatism.

I see the Palestinians have celebrated the Democrats regaining the House majority for next two years. They were so happy they sent over 400 missiles into Israel. Once again, why does the Jewish community support Democrats.

Talk about hypocrisy...Democrats won't support building 'the wall' at the border, yet are concerned that the $200 MILLION dollar cost of sending active troops instead of National Guardsmen. Why, because Democrats are concerned it will take away money from maintaining the military planes and other equipment. Where was the Democrat concern for our military when Clinton..then Obama..cut back the entire military budget? Besides, using the active Army personnel saves the individual states from the burden of funding their Guardsmen's cost.

The MC Board of Elections DIDN'T "reject" any ballots. the Board just upheld the laws of all Georgia which guarantees that citizens of GA will not have their voice muffled by the vote of someone who has not shown he/she is a lawful voter. In other words, 130 properly registered voters got their votes counted even after a discrepancy challenge at a polling place.

There have false stories about Stacy Abrams' sister being the judge who ruled on a ballot injunction filed in Dougherty County, GA..not true..but..her sister does hear cases in that circuit, and that should have been enough for all such judges in that circuit to recuse themselves! This was "judge shopping" in a most offensive manner!

From the "rush to judgment" department - Recently a photo was taken of a Wisconsin high school's senior boys prior to their Prom. MSM-13 couldn't wait to proclaim it appeared that the young men were giving a "Heil Hitler Salute".. it did not look that way to me.. Now.. and I emphasize "NOW"...the truth is revealed, "Peter Gust, a local motorcycle photographer who took the photo, told Wisconsin's Madison365.com that the photo was "taken out of context" and as "innocent as boys and girls going to prom." He said he "simply" told the boys to "wave goodbye, heading off to prom." Of course, when you pull out a nail hammered into a board, the hole is still there.. more unfortunately, MSM-13 won't even ATTEMPT to even pull the nails out.

Recently, a story about CSU enrollment being down hit the headlines... I'm pretty sure a better economy has lured some students out of the classroom and into the workplace, but one other memory was triggered that I'd like to hear some follow up data. Seen.. maybe 8 years ago, the previous CSU president was in a braggadocios state, and announced a new record of CSU enrollment... then later in the release. it was casual mentioned that over 1,000 of the new freshman class were actually taking remedial class at Columbus Tech. I'd like to know how many of the current enrollment have been/are taking remedial classes at Columbus Tech.

The MSM-13 and Democrat spinmeisters are trying awfully hard to convince themselves that the return to a Democrat majority in the House was monumental. What bias?" department - Online headline/story: "President Donald Trump could not attend a commemoration in France for U.S. soldiers and marines killed during World War One on Saturday because rain made it impossible to arrange transport, the White House said. * The last minute cancellation prompted widespread criticism on social media and from some officials in Britain and the United States that Trump had "dishonored" U.S. servicemen." -- "dishonored"? Good grief! President Trump has done more to HONOR vets and their families by his revamping of the VA that was in shambles when he took over.. He's honored veterans and their families by getting soldiers killed in Korea 60+ years ago. He also HONORED active servicemen by NOT exposing them to fly a helicopter in dangerous conditions..

No wonder Bama looks so good defensively...they can rush/blitz 8 or 9 players on a pass play because they've got 2 or 3 defensive backs and 4 or 5 referees defending against the pass.

Good grief... Mississippi State had to go into halftime and re-strategize how to defend against the referees! Missed fumble, and stealing a touchdown are pretty bad "home cooking" plays to have to overcome against any team, but against the Number 1 team at home...

Soapbox Moment: - Momentum... let's talk about "momentum".. Momentum is basically controlled emotion and confidence. One moment can turn it on or off in a millisecond. It happens out of the blue most of the time, but it can be destroyed just as easily.. Take the Alabama-Mississippi State game yesterday.. I t was a very .. pretty much brutal... physical match-up.. Four of the best defensive linemen in the country were playing..yet referee calls changed momentum and fortunes in a heartbeat.. Two grievous "moments" happened at the most advantageous times for Bama.. conversely, they were back-breakers for State. In the opening serious, BAMA fumbled and State recovered.. the call on the field was that the runner was down..irrefutable video replays showed the ball was loose before either of the runner's knees were "down". Fumbles are review-able.. yet no call for one was made. BAMA continued down the field to score. At the end of the first half, State scored a touchdown...until a yellow flag was thrown and a State player was called for a "block in the back" penalty.. the only referee in the complex WITHOUT a clear view threw the flag (and "penalties" are not re-viewable except for "targetting").. The truth was that the Bama player "foot-fumbled and fell" and the one ref without a clear view "assumed" he was pushed. This made what should have been a 14-7 halftime score (7-7 if that first Bama TD was erased because of the pre-mentioned uncalled fumble), and State was to get the ball to start the second half. Yes "momentum" is a mysterious occurrence, sometimes there's no explanation of how or why it occurs nor when it is coming. What we do know is that"momentum" should neither be given nor squashed by the referees.

Online headline: "Recounts ordered in Florida Senate, governor races" -- You know.. some order should be dictated to consider/count ballots.. primarily, only ballots kept under constant security of an election official since the polls closed be considered and/or counted..
Case in point: Online story: "A Florida teacher found and reported a box containing potentially uncounted ballots on Thursday — two full days after extremely close midterm elections in the Sunshine State. * Schoolteacher Lakeisha Williams of Miramar Elementary School told the New York Post, “I went into the area that we use for storage and saw it in there.” -- Found it?... in a closet? .. two days after the election? Hmmmm ..if black voters cast 92% of their votes for a black candidate, and 74% of white voters cast their vote for a white candidate, it's rather clear that white voters are less focused on a candidate's color than black voters. At least some people heard Dr King's "dream".

College football needs to adjust the scoring on field goals..How about 1 point for 25 yards in, 2 points for 50 to 26 yds., and 4 points for longer goals. The primary effect would be for teams with "4th and goal on the one" would go for it rather than mechanically "take the three".

Your guess is as good as mine as to when/whether it will be finished in our lifetimes.

Why do scientists continue to try to "connect" humans with apes by evolution? What's clear to me is that God saw what he created in apes, and wanted a better version HE could commune and converse with, so He created humans... Other wise, there'd be example after example of "evolution in progress".

On the other hand.. though not via DNA, scientists could make an argument about Democrats being a more associated with apes... hey do share more in common.. an absence of God in their lives, and a tendency to prefer mob rule/action versus intelligent civility.

Drive by.. even through Columbus High School on a weekend, and look at the construction going on to build the new wrestling/cheerleader practice facility.. It's going to creep into the baseball field even more than I first imagined..and confirms that there really was no practical area construct it once the MCSB ruled out any possibility of building it attached to the gymnasium because it would eliminate as many (or more) of the parking spaces they added 2 years ago to give MORE parking.

From Columbus Council Agenda: "II. GMA RECERTIFICATION CITY OF ETHICS PROGRAM: Approval is requested to recertify as a “Certified City of Ethics” and if approved accept recognition from the Georgia Municipal Association.
The Columbus Consolidated Government first applied in December 2000 to become a Certified City of Ethics and was awarded the designation January 2001 and again in 2017. To remain certified, cities must recertify as a Georgia Certified City of Ethics. The purpose of this requirement is to make sure that the importance of ethical conduct in public service and the requirements of the city’s ethics ordinance are brought to the attention of newly elected officials and regularly reinforced for incumbent officials. Additionally, recertification will provide the GMA Ethics Certification Committee with an opportunity to ensure that any changes to the city’s ordinance since the original certification preserve the key element necessary for participation in the program.
Approval is requested to apply for recertification and, if approved, accept recognition from the Georgia Municipal Association as a “Certified City of Ethics”. The governing subscribes to the following ethics principles and pledges to conduct its affairs accordingly:
• Serve others not ourselves.
• Use resources with efficiency and economy.
• Treat all people fairly.
• Use the power of our position for the well-being of our constituents.
• Create an environment of honesty, openness and integrity."
-- Wait a minute.. the first Forensic Audit completed showed ethics violations, and no application should be applied for to be certified as "ethical" until all the Forensic Audits are complete, and all discrepancies have been addressed AND accounted for..

I understand that Broward County Board of Elections is separating the first page from the ballots in order to speed up a recount. Boy does this reek if fraud potential. The whole ballot should be counted in order to have a reference point to how down ballot races come out compared to the original count. By removing the down ballot pages, it becomes much easier to slip in fraud ballots to replace the original ballot.

Liberals have no clue about the silliness of their "gun reform" quest... The adage, "When guns are outlaws, only outlaws will own guns" drifts right over their heads..What they need to champion is judicial and penal reform..What they need to focus on is intolerance for guns being used in crimes, and criminals illegally possessing/using guns.

What Michelle Obama PROBABLY didn't address in her book (like the Pulitzer Award winner, I haven't read it either.. and will not do so in the future) is that her husband is TOTALLY responsible for Trump now being our President. It was at the 2011 White House Correspondence Dinner.. President Obama took the podium, and spent nearly 5 minutes taunting and eviscerating dinner guest Donald Trump in front of the world and God Himself, over Trump's comments about the authenticity of Obama's birth certificate.. (too be honest, I've never seen a Trump tweet that was as vicious about an individual as President Obama's attack was on Trump). You could almost see the "wheels turning" in Trump's head about being the next president.. There wasn't time to start from scratch and win in 2012, but 2016 was a different story.

I totally disagree with Newt Gingrich's thoughts about why Clinton got re-elected after he was impeached.. it was not because sympathy for him made him popular again, it was because the Republicans through and absolute DUD against him in the 1996 election.. Oh, and heaven forbid Tyler Technologies' software picks up on a homeowner adding a backyard wooden storage shed or doll house, and adding the tax costs at $300.00 a square ft. Oh, and ask Mark Cantrell if those $10,000.00 storage building could be bought and and converted to a "tiny home" for another $10-$15,000. and sold for $100,000.00 plus in the Historic District.

" -- Can you not see Mayor Tom-LYING-son's Tyler Technologies software seeing a $120,000.00 "400 sq ft tiny building" next to a $300,000 dollar 2,500 square foot home, and "decide" the 2,500 square ft home be FMV'd at $750,000.00 because the square ft evaluation should be the same? Oh, and heaven forbid Tyler Technologies' software picks up on a homeowner adding a backyard wooden storage shed or doll house, and adding the tax costs at $300.00 a square ft. Oh, and ask Mark Cantrell if those $10,000.00 storage building could be bought and and converted to a "tiny home" for another $10-$15,000. and sold for $100,000.00 plus in the Historic District.
And excuse me... but what "tiny home" buyer.. especially one who would rent such out, is going to spend $200/$300 a square foot on such property?.. In fact... how DOES one spend $200/$300 a square foot on such?

From the "bias? What bias?" department - Online "STORY": "According to AP VoteCast, a new tool that replaced the in-person exit poll as a source of detailed information about the American electorate, almost one-third of Hispanics voters approve of how Trump is handling the presidency, while 66 percent said they disapprove. * The rate of approval may surprise some, given the harsh rhetoric Trump has used about Hispanics. He called Mexican immigrants "rapists" and "criminals" when he first announced his bid for the White House in the summer of 2015." -- "He called Mexican immigrants "rapists" and "criminals""? .. WRONG! Trump did not, does not label Mexican immigrants. He was .. and will call... illegal aliens out for being criminals... and will call out Democrats for "aiding and abetting" criminals. Oh.. and since this is about an ABC (Anger Beyond Control) "tool", we know it starts out slanted against our President.

I have some questions for the Washington, DC police.. how many of the antifa that tried to break into Tucker Carlson's home did you arrest on "attempted robbery, attempted "B&E", and damaging private property? Hmmm.. as I recall. Hellary got 93% of the DC votes in 2016.

I just read a list of Congresspersons with he lowest "net worth".. Congressman Sanford Bishop, D-GA2, is no longer in the bottom 10.. he's number 432 out of 535.... Hey, Sanford Bishop, how come your worth ranking has risen, and your District 2 is still dropping?

Online story: " Central American migrants in a caravan that has stopped in Mexico City demanded buses Thursday to take them to the U.S. border, saying it is too cold and dangerous to continue walking and hitchhiking." -- "demand buses"? "too cold and dangerous"? Hmmm... First, they are not "migrants".. the dictionary defines "migrants" very specifically and these "illegal aliens".. "invaders"... do not meet the criteria.. Secondly.. it's obvious that these are neither refugees nor asylum seekers.. if so, making this trip would be worth all the hardships they would endure.. demanding OTHERS give then conveniences just demonstrates they will be expecting government handouts.. not the opportunity to to work hard and achieve the American dream

Though everything about the massacre in that Thousand Oaks bar was tragic, was there anything more tragic than finding out 18 year olds were allowed into the bar.. I know this is the "age of instant online IDs" but like at GA voting precincts, there are electronic verification devices that validate whether a "license" is actually a LICENSE, and a fingerprint is included in the data encoded on the back that almost any electronic device can match with a finger scan. Under-aged ... whether young women or young men... do not belong in an adult drinking/entertainment-only environment.. including right here in Columbus, GA.

One comment that caught my ear was made by a deputy concerning the community attitude in Thousand Oaks , CA. When he said law enforcement was respected in the community, I immediately focused on the conversation he was having with Harris Faulkner. With all the reports of California 'Sanctuary Cities' , I discovered Thousand Oaks and Ventura County defied Sacramento directives of becoming a "sanctuary" for illegal alien criminals... This probably why California has not been crashed into the ocean. God bless the citizens of Thousand Oaks...

Soap Box Moment: While we seem to dump the National Debt on the shoulders of our Presidents, they really are the cause... well, except for the expenditures they create with :their pens and phones".. We have 535 elected representative of the people.. 435 in the House, and 100 in the Senate...who have control of the purse strings. Put the blame on their shoulders for not being willing to work with each other for the benefit of America as a whole.. The only "real power" and elected official is controlling the flow of money.. of course when 535 people are more interested in getting themselves "re-elected", keeping unauthorized promises to their own districts/states become their priority versus the needs of the Nation. A strict balanced budget is NOT the answer (we cannot strangle our Defense Department in war times) ... never will be, either...but a prioritized budget is.. Revenue projections should rule the budget level.. once expenses for National interests are covered, then the remaining can be made available by a budget/expense process agreed to by the 535. but in no case can "wants" be allowed to become National Debt. To make it work, all that's needed is the 535 making America's needs the priority to their own wants.

Three things: How can reports be made that say 99/100% of votes in a race have been counted yet there still be 3 and 4 % to be counted? How can ballots be "found" that weren't counted election day and their validity not be challenged? How come absentee ballots are not opened and recorded with 24 hours of receipt so that the voters names are check marked at the precincts in case such voters make a second attempt to vote ... or the voters know someone has illegally cast their votes by absentee?

Her campaign has said she must pick up about 15,000 votes to secure a runoff in December. * Kemp said Abrams is using “old math.” Without providing specifics, he said in a WSB Radio interview that the number “is actually more like 30,000 votes.” -- Adding those 20,000 votes to Abrams alone pushes the aggregate votes to 2,145,209, and Kemp will still have a better than 50%+1 total. Guess we know Abrams uses Common CRAP Math rather than Common Sense. Probably, too, explains why the IRS flagged her Tax Forms for audits
