Yesterday's thoughts of moving the Confederate Cannon down to Woodruff Park may be too out there for most, but how about wheeling down the cannon from Cannon Brew Pub this Sunday? The noise will be more in line with the dam "poof", and Cannon Brew Pub could wheel down a few kegs of beer also to make the event more palatable. Ooops, my bad...probably can't sell beer on CSU property.

Government and School boards try mighty hard to push God and Jesus out, but bringing God and Jesus into our prisons is working out for the good of the community and the tortured souls in prison. Support our Chattahoochee Jail Ministry. Cash, clothing, and your prayers do so much. Of course, introducing God and Jesus to criminals wouldn't be necessary if our schools kept him in the forefront of learning.

I'm real puzzled why the L-E is making so much out of Zuppan donating a painting to the Public Safety Building. The painting was framed from Phenix City of the Eagle & Phenix condominium development which the residents pay almost nothing in property taxes to support our CPD and CFD. Why not a nice painting depicting the Public Safety Building itself?

Took notice of the Eisenhower Art Exhibit coming to Columbus in a few days. I have a signed piece from General Eisenhower my Dad got for me. Dad was playing golf at Augusta the same day as President Eisenhower in 1957, and he brought me an Augusta National scorecard signed by President Eisenhower.
