Aggravate a liberal today.. fly our flag proudly... it's Flag Day.

Online headline: "Obama authorizes US action in Syria * Major response
after 'red line' crossed" -- Authorizes? Isn't that sort a like 'telegraphing
your pitch" in baseball so the batter knows what you're throwing? Of course, I'd
just like to know at what point Judas 00-bama will draw the "red line" for the
IRS, DOJ, and his appointed Tsars...
---
HuffPost headline/story: "Obamacare scores surprising victory * With
landmark votes today in the House and Senate, legislators have tackled the issue
that is Job One every session -- adoption of a responsible State budget -- and
enacted Arizona’s most sweeping health care legislation in decades," Brewer said
in a news release after the vote Thursday. "It will extend cost-effective care
to Arizona’s working poor, using the very tax dollars our citizens already pay
to the federal government." -- Hmmm, how does this constitute a 'victory' for
Judas 00-bama if it uses "the very tax dollars our citizens already pay to the
federal government"? Seems to me, Gov Brewer has found a way to make 00-bama
spend tax dollars on something it's been collected for, rather than on some
other new program.

Online headline: "Edward Snowden Tells South China Morning Post: U.S. Has
Been Hacking Hong Kong And China Since 2009" -- DOH? That's news... to China...
to the world?
---
Online story: "The 21-year-old son of Sen. Mary Landrieu (D-La.) was
arrested Thursday morning on charges of driving while intoxicated, hit-and-run
and driving the wrong way on a one-way New Orleans street, the Times-Picayune
reported." -- Hmmm, bet by Tuesdaym Sen Diane Feinstein, D-CA, will introduce a
new law to prohibit pedestrians from walking the right way on one-way
streets.
---
WRBL 3 story: "The Japanese baseball commissioner apologized on Friday for
the confusion caused by introducing a new, livelier ball this season without
notifying players. * NPB acknowledged this week for the first time that a new
ball was introduced at the start of the season, resulting in a sharp increase in
home runs. * There were 939 home runs in 2011 and 881 in 2012. This season's
tally stood at 512 as of Tuesday, on pace for a season total of 1,297. * NPB
previously denied this year's increase in home runs had anything to do with
changes to the baseball. * NPB secretary general Kunio Shimoda said the issue
was kept secret in order "to avoid confusion." -- "kept secret in order to avoid
confusion"? Don't you know Judas 00-bama is kicking himself for not thinking of
that excuse! Maybe the Japanese Commissioner will commit Hari Kari with a corked
baseball bat to atone. Judas 00-bama... are you watching?

Saw where the Mayor had a forum where St Mary's Road problems were the
highlight. Speaking of St Mary's Road issues, what's happening with the deaths
of women caused by a MCSD employee aided by the poorly designed/executed
non-raised sidewalk system?
---
Online headline: "Tim Tebow's 'spirituality' appealed to Patriots owner
Robert Kraft" -- Hmmm, maybe there is a reason to watch pro football
again.
---
Online story: "Samsung on Thursday promised to swiftly add a new feature to
its smartphones allowing owners to entirely deactivate their devices if they are
stolen," -- Hmmm, maybe Samsung will add two other switches ... one that a
teacher can use to shut off cellphones during classes, and one for parents to
shut off texting while at meals.
---
Took a tour down the Veterans Parkway Streetscapes... Very surprised to see
only 1 dead tree, though there are 10-12 that ate a little puny, but it sure
beats last summer when there were 25 dead/dying trees.
---
Online headline:"Caterpillar Ends Boy Scout Support Due To Gay Ban" -- It's
one thing to something quietly; it's another to toot your horn about it. Blow
Caterpillar off.
---
Online story: "President Obama has threatened to veto a bill (H.R.
1960) that would protect military members' religious free speech rights,
confirming fears that his Administration plans to target Christians who discuss
their faith." -- How does a Commander-in-Chief get soldiers to fight for a
Constitution that he doesn't respect?
---
A fellow church member made the unsolicited random comment that her
husbands health insurance just jumped $500.00 per month. That's $3,000.00
annually. And that's just the initial increase !
---
Under normal circumstances, now would be a good time to hold another "Dan's
Bake Sale" to boost the economy of Colorado. Unfortunately, with marijuana being
on the streets, "Dan" would be held liable for his brownies/cookies.
---
Hostess Brands LLC.... hmmmm, reopening and the union vultures are already
circling. What's that definition of doing the same thing over expecting
different results.... Oh, yeah... insanity.

---
L-E story: "(Mayor) Tomlinson, 48, holds
dual bachelor’s degrees in government and economics from Sweet Briar College in
Virginia " -- Degrees in government and economics from Sweet Briar College"?
Hmm, my sister went to Sweet Briar.. In fact, she got the first degree ever
given there in mathematics. Of course, Sweet Briar didn't offer all the course
on campus, so she had to actually tale courses at other universities in the area
to qualify for her degree. It's almost hard to believe Sweet Brair has a
fgovernment & economics program.
---
Astute L-E "soundoff": "Instead of paying students $100 to make A’s, $50 for
B’s, and $25 for C’s, why don’t we just stop paying them to drop out of school?
" -- Bravo!
---
Low-info voter's L-E "soundoff": "Columbus has closed two schools and laid off dozens
of teachers — but restored the budget for prison guards. Another sign of where
America is headed? " -- When too many students don't learn enough to stay out of
prisons, then we need more guards.
---
You know, without even looking up the answer, I'll
bet we have more employees per students enrolled in schools than we have guards
in relation to the number of prisoners... MCSD has 6,200 +/- employees for
32,000 +/- students, about a 1-to-5 ratio. Maybe the MCSD should rethink the
decision to stop corporal punishment.
---
L-E headline: "U.S. SUPREME COURT * Supreme Court rules human
genes may not be patented" -- Guess we can expect a lawsuit by the ACLU against
the US Supreme Cout for accepting God as the one-and-only owner of our
genes.
---
L-E headline: "NSA
SURVEILLANCE PROBE * NSA chief to release details on program" -- The
only details I want to see/know about are the Blackberry calls and text messages
between Judas 00-bama, the DOJ and the
IRS.
---
L-E
graph:
Combine this with another L-E headlines, "U.S. CENSUS * U.S. whites falling to
minority in under-5 age group" and "Black
family progress has stalled since controversial 1965 study, report says ", and
it's easy to see the trends facing the next generations of all races.
This is not a majority/minority issue... it's a cultural and
moral issue.
---
L-E headline: "COLORADO WILDFIRES * Black Forest fire now
state’s most destructive" -- Ooops, my bad... thought this was about an
impending Sharpton/Jackson
story.
