Online headline/story: "94-Year-Old Minnesota Man Tied To World War II
Atrocities *
(Michael Karkoc, 94) a top commander of a Nazi SS-led unit accused of
burning villages filled with women and children lied to American immigration
officials to get into the United States and has been living in Minnesota since
shortly after World War II, according to evidence uncovered by The Associated
Press. * Efraim Zuroff, the lead Nazi hunter at the Simon Wiesenthal Center in
Jerusalem, said that based on his decades of experience pursuing Nazi war
criminals, he expects that the evidence showing Karkoc lied to American
officials and that his unit carried out atrocities is strong enough for
deportation and war-crimes prosecution in Germany or Poland." -- What ironic
justice... A former Nazi who had lived in this country since 1949 under the
guilt of his action, is now outed as he nears the end of his life. Guess he
thought he'd gotten away with such atrocities, but now this will be his legacy,
the final memory, for his children and grandchildren.

Online headline: "Obama Says Fatherhood Is 'The Best Job I've Got'" --
Finally something most of the country will agree with Judas 00-bama on.
Fortunately, he will be out of office when he finds out for sure that he's
failed in that job, too.

Online story: "Law enforcement officials in Washington (state) reported
that over $2.8 million worth of firearms had been stolen across the state in
2012, an increase of 14 percent from 2011 * While stolen guns account for only
about 10 to 15 percent of guns used in crimes, according to the Bureau of
Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF), getting them off the streets is
difficult." -- DOH! The solution is fairly simple ... better handling of gun
crime cases: caught with an illegally attained gun; life; using an illegally
attained gun while committing another crime; death.
---
Syria... Even though the invisible line had been crossed many times, why
does Judas 00-bama want to give arms/money to Muslim terrorists? Why not send in
salvos of missiles into the government compounds and weapon storage areas?

WRBL 3 news story: "Sheriff deputies have taken a man into custody after a
standoff at a Columbus motel Friday afternoon. * The suspect, T... S... L...,
surrendered to deputies several hours after barricading himself inside a room at
the Motel 6 on Victory Drive. Luke missed a court appearance this morning for
traffic violations, according to Sheriff John T. Darr. * When the standoff
began, Luke had an unidentified woman with him in the room. He let her go
unharmed but would not surrender to deputies until his wife arrived, according
to Darr." -- "would not surrender to deputies until his wife arrived"? I guess
after his wife found out he had another woman in the room earlier, he decided
his chances of living were better in jail than in the motel room.

Top 10 States with most government benefits (and their electoral
votes)
10 - Massachusetts - 11
9 - Iowa - 6
8 - New York - 29
7 - Maine - 4
6 - New Jersey - 14
5 - Connecticut - 7
4 - Wisconsin - 10
3 - Oregon - 7
2 - Vermont - 3
1 - Washington State - 12
Between the Top 10 state with the most government benefits, they have 103
Electoral votes. If you switched those votes, Judas 00-bama would have received
221, and Romney would have received 317. Note that California, Illinois,
Michigan, and Florida were not in the "Top 10"; they didn't need to be, as
DUMBERats felt those 4 states were already in the proverbial hip-pocket.

One more time..... there is no Tax Freeze .. There is a freeze on the tax
assessor being able to arbitrarily jack up the market value of your home you are
not in the market to sell, but as you just learned, Council has raised the
milage rate.... again so our taxes are higher .. again.

Online story: "A Connecticut woman disfigured by a friend's pet chimpanzee
in 2009 was denied permission Friday to sue the state for $150 million on her
claim that officials knew the animal was dangerous but didn't do anything about
it." -- Good grief! Her lawyer should be disbarred for submitting the claim. The
woman was a victim... of the chimp. of her friend, and of her own stupidity.
Still we pretty much all sympathize with her plight, BUT her victimization came
down to choices, stupid choices she made.

Online story: "FORT HOOD, Texas (AP) — A uniformed Army psychiatrist had no
justification for gunning down U.S. troops and won't be allowed to tell jurors
that he was protecting Taliban leaders in Afghanistan, a military judge ruled
Friday, appearing to clear the way for the Fort Hood murder trial to begin. *
Maj. N---- H----'s "defense of others" strategy fails as a matter of law, Col.
Tara Osborn said during a 45-minute hearing. " -- The circus roars to life! Why
the terrorist (_*_) wasn't killed that day is beyond me, but for our military,
our nation to be tied up an additional 45 minutes on this crap may be a worse
crime on our nation than the (_*_) committed 4 hyears ago.

Online story: "A team led by a state-appointed emergency manager said
Friday that Detroit is defaulting on about $2.5 billion in unsecured debt and is
asking creditors to take about 10 cents on the dollar of what the city owes
them." -- This is pathetic, but the last report I read/reported on stated
Detroit was $14 Billion in debt. Where is Detroit planning to get even the 10%
they offered to redeem this $2.5 Billion?
---
McClatchy story: "California’s high-speed rail project can start rolling
without waiting for potentially time-consuming approvals from a federal board,
officials ruled Thursday * In a victory for the project that’s faced repeated
political obstacles, a divided Surface Transportation Board ruled 2-1 that the
California High-Speed Rail Authority can begin construction on its own." --
"without waiting for...approvals from a federal board"? I think it's time for
The House to file suit to stop this nonsense.

Online headline/story: "Taxpayers spend $41.3 million in a year to
advertise food stamps * using data from the Agriculture Department’s Economic
Research Service, in the year 2000 spending on advertising for the Supplemental
Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) — or food stamps — was approximately $6.5
million. * In the ensuing years, spending on advertising and outreach steadily
increased reaching $41.3 million in 2011, according to the calculations, which
were confirmed by the Congressional Research Service, according to Budget
Committee staff" -- And I'll guarantee that the bulk of the $41+ Million is
spent with liberal media which are not going to question the goose that lays the
golden egg.

Online headline/story: " Hot Mic Catches Egyptian Leaders Speaking Truth:
‘Our War is With America, Israel’ * The Obama Administration recently proved the
wisdom of those words by sending another wad of cash — $1.3 billion — last month
to the ungrateful leader of Egypt, Mohamed Morsi, whom we helped put in office.
* Apparently under the impression that the meeting was being kept secret, a
number of the politicians called the dam plans a secret project of America and
Israel. They also discussed ways to destroy the dam and possibly funding an
insurgency in Ethiopia * Unfortunately for the Egyptian leadership, the meeting
was being broadcast live on a state-run channel, and the transcript was later
translated into English by the Middle East Media and Research Institute,
according to a New York Times blog. * Before being informed that the meeting was
being transmitted, Islamic Labor Party Chairman Magdi Ahmad Hussein said
everybody at the meeting must vow not to leak information to the media." --
Hmmm.. brings back an adage both my grandfathers cited: With friends like these,
who needs enemies? Sadly, while Morsi is America's enemy, he's Judas 00-bama's
friend.

L-E story: "The House overwhelmingly passed a sweeping, $638 billion defense bill on Friday that imposes new punishments on members of the armed services found guilty of rape or sexual assault as outrage over the crisis in the military has galvanized Congress." -- What does "new punishments on members of the armed services found guilty of rape or sexual assault" have to do with the military budget?
L-E story: "The House overwhelmingly passed a sweeping, $638 billion defense bill on Friday that imposes new punishments on members of the armed services found guilty of rape or sexual assault as outrage over the crisis in the military has galvanized Congress." -- What does "new punishments on members of the armed services found guilty of rape or sexual assault" have to do with the military budget?
---
From above story: "The House bill would
require a mandatory minimum sentence of two years in prison for a member of the
armed services convicted of rape or sexual assault in a military court. *
Officers, commissioned warrant
officers, cadets and midshipmen convicted of rape, sexual assault, forcible
sodomy or attempts to commit those offenses also would be dismissed. Enlisted
personnel and noncommissioned warrant officers convicted of similar crimes would
be dishonorably discharged. * The bill
also would strip military commanders of the power to overturn convictions in
rape and sexual assault cases." -- The irony is that this bill doesn't address
what happens to enemies who rape/sexually assault our soldiers. As it stands
enemies would get civilian court trials with appointed lawyers.

Online story: MONTGOMERY, Ala. — More than 100 protesters braved the hot

past, everyone would be better off.
