There's a new movie being released on June 28th called "White House Down". Because of current events, rumor has it has changed the name already to "White House Down 2".

---

Online headline: "'The Purge' Tops Weekend Box Office" -- Ooops, my bad. Thought Susan Rice had been making the Sunday News Talk Shows blaming some right-wing video for everything.

---

From Congressman Westmoreland's newsletter: "One scandal the administration just can’t seem to shake is President Obama’s unconstitutional appointments to the National Labor Relations Board (NLRB). A second US Court of Appeals has invalidated Obama’s NLRB “recess” appointments, along with some of the actions the board has taken since these members were appointed." -- Judas 00-bama used to 'teach' Constitutional Law" in Chicago. It's bad enough we have teachers being misdirected about America's history (for that matter, America's future as well) in college, but to have budding lawyers taught to disregard our Constitution is traitorous.

Our government is incredible. It will jump on the opportunity to go after a private citizen/corporation based on a 'whistle blower', but wants to go after 'whistle blowers' if tales of government spendin or privacy abuses come to light,

Seems as if Simon Cowell got 'egged' on live TV. Wonder what was worse for him, the 'egging' or the 'goose egg' ratings?

From a fellow BCer:

Here's a history pop-test:

A little trivia to see how much history you know (can guess at). Be
honest, it's kinda fun and revealing.

If you don't know the answer make your best guess.

Who said it?
1) "We're going to take things away from you on behalf of the common
good."

A. Karl Marx
B. Adolph Hitler
C. Joseph Stalin
D. None of the above

2) "It's time for a new beginning, for an end to government of the few,
by the few, and for the few...... And to replace it with shared
responsibility for shared prosperity."

A. Lenin
B. Mussolini
C. Idi Amin
D. None of the Above

3) "(We) .....can't just let business as usual go on, and that means something has to be taken away from some people."

A. Nikita Khrushev
B. Josef Goebbels
C. Boris Yel tsin
D. None of the above

4) "We have to build a political consensus and that requires people to
give up a little bit of their own ... in order to create this common
ground."

A. Mao Tse Dung
B. Hugo Chavez
C. Kim Jong Il
D. None of the above

5) "I certainly think the free-market has failed."

A. Karl Marx
B. Lenin
C. Molotov
D. None of the above

6) "I think it's time to send a clear message to what has become the
most profitable sector in (the) entire economy that they are being
watched."

A. Pinochet
B. Milosevic
C. Saddam Hussein
D. None of the above
OK, if you answered "D. None of the above" for each, you passed. If you knew each of the quotes were made by Hillary Clinton, then you know how serious it is to be more worried about the 2016 election than either of the past two.

L-E picture... looks like the set from "Gone With The Wind - 2", but it's our new City Services Building. It'll be a constant reminder of our tax dollars 'gone with the hot air':
---
Low info voter's L-E "soundoff": "Why don’t you have more stories about female sports? For instance, the women’s college world series. It would be nice to learn more about the games that were played. " -- You mean that college girls play baseball?
---
Another low-info MCSD employee L-E "soundoff": "One hundred percent of Columbus High School students do graduate. Some students receive a diploma through Columbus State and this causes a glitch in the stats." -- No, there are actually CHS students that start there but are kicked out to other schools/situations for not keeping up their required work level.
