First she works out a deal with the UPtown Whitewater Project that the raft businesses will pay a fee of 3% directly to the general coffers that bypasses the Public Safety LOST, then she puts the screws into the Public Safety departments. Where does Mayor Obamalinson think she's taking safety in Columbus? Columbus is already in the bottom 3% of safe cities, and reports this year look like Columbus is headed further south in these ratings. Ironically, the Marshal's Office quickly adopted the budget cut proposals because who wouldn't give up 1.5% when this department could easily be 100% dissolved, and by taking the 1.5% openly keeps the Mayor from snooping into then Marshal's budget.

Those 5 that are charged in the murder of the pastor under the Oglethorpe Bridge... it really bothers me how this is even going to trial... There might be 'circumstances' to consider had the victim been the person the 5 killed thought he was, but he wasn't. He was innocent and trying to help the girl. If there was any remorse for killing the wrong person, all involved should have taken some sort of plea bargain to do what ever the courts deemed fair under the circumstances. (Side note: this doesn't absolve the DA from stupidity of putting Whitaker on the prosecuting team, and it especially doesn't absolve Whitaker from wasting tax dollars).
