Online story: "Bullmastiffs are powerfully built dogs with high
intelligence and are known for their willingness to please, according to the
American Kennel Club. They are considered ideal family pets and companions. The
AKC describes the breed as "fearless and confident yet docile." * A 5-year-old
tornado survivor was killed by the dog of a family friend whose house he had
been staying at following the devastating May 20 storm in Moore, OKLA. * The
boy, whose name has not been released, died Sunday after he was attacked by a
150-pound Bullmastiff at a home in Jessieville, Ark. * The child was putting on
some shoes and was crying and upset," Garland County Deputy Scott Hinojosa told
the station. "The dog possibly took that as being aggressive and at that time
the child was attacked." -- Hmmm, wonder if the AKC might put an asterisk by its
description and evaluation of Bullmastiffs. Also hope the family of the child
AND family of the dog sue the AKC for its opinion.

Online headline: "George W. Bush Gets First Positive Rating Since 2005:
Poll" -- Hmmm,. must be the DUMBERats who have started liking those "Miss me
yet?" billboards around the country.

Online story: "The U.S. State Department’s ability to investigate
wrongdoing by its staff is under question after a report that the agency tried
to cover up several crimes committed has surfaced. * Some of the allegations are
against then-Secretary of State Hillary Clinton’s security detail who allegedly
hired prostitutes, a U.S. ambassador accused of trolling public parks for paid
sex and a security official in Beirut committing sexual assaults on foreign
nationals. * An internal memo from the State Department’s inspector general
listed eight examples of wrongdoing by agency staff or contractors." -- Another
Clinton involved in a sex scandal... who'da guessed... wonder if she likes
cigars as well?
---
From above: "The memo also seems to indicate that the government agency
tried to use its authority to stop the investigation and instead, opting to have
the official, whose name has not been released, meet with Undersecretary of
State for Management Patrick Kennedy in Washington. The official was then
allowed to return to his job overseas." -- Is this not just perfect? A
political sex scandal and a Clinton and Kennedy involved. Just proves nothing
changes when DUMBERats are in power.
---
Speaking of Clinton and cigars, going through some boxes of memorabilia
yesterday, ran across a bag of hats I hadn't seen since we moved back into
Muscogee County 10 years ago. There it was, a hat with "Monica's Cigar Store"
embroidered in front. Is that not psychic?

Online story: "Director of National Intelligence James Clapper sought to
clarify his claim that the National Security Agency does not collect information
on millions of Americans, telling NBC News' Andrea Mitchell that he gave the
"least untruthful" answer possible on the agency's surveillance program. " --
"the least untruthful answer"? Hmmm, by who's standards? Guess in his mind, it
was just "a little one"?
---
Online story: "WASHINGTON -- The Obama administration declassified a
handful of details Tuesday that credited its PRISM Internet spying program with
intercepting a key email that unraveled a 2009 terrorist plot in New York. * The
details, declassified by the director of national intelligence, were circulated
on Capitol Hill as part of government efforts to tamp down criticism of two
recently revealed National Security Agency surveillance programs. * In the rush
to defend the surveillance programs, however, government officials have changed
their stories and misstated key facts of the Zazi plot. And they've left out one
important detail: The email that disrupted the plan could easily have been
intercepted without PRISM." -- "changed story and misstated key facts"?
Hmmm, this is just tweaking "the least untruthful answer" description of a lie
that Crapper. uh, CLAPPER made.
---
Online headline: "Actress Tracks Down Dad's Alleged Killer" -- A child's
father was killed 26 years before, and she spent the last 8 years searching the
Internet for the killer... and found him! The NYC police 'thanked' her for doing
its job. My question is why wasn't the NSA and DOJ doing this since they were
invading everybody's privacy and rights?
---
Online headline: "Rick Renzi, Former Congressman, Convicted On 17 Of 32
Counts In Corruption Case" -- You would think this might be a precursor to
seeing Eric Holder, Hillary, et al's names in a similar headline... but don't
hold your breath.. the mainstream media is not quite ready to even the playing
filed.
---
Online headline: "ACLU Suing Obama Administration Over Phone Records
Gathering" -- No, you're not misreading this, nor is this a James Clapper
"gotcha". The ACLU has filed a suit against a liberal. This is something you
can tell your grandchildren, but they probably won't believe any more than that
story that you used to walk or ride a bicycle to school in 4th grade.

Judas 00-bama says he's proud to say that illegal border crossings are at
their lowest in years. Unfortunately, he doesn't connect with the fact that
illegals know there aren't jobs available for anyone if they do
come.

L-E headline: "Council finally approves $42,000 for recycling center
furniture" --Hmmm, what should have been a 'no-brainer' (as well as wonderful
example) by furnishing the Recycling Center with furnishings recycled and/or
revamped from other government offices turns out to be a demonstration of lack
of 'brains' in Council and the City Manager's office.

Online story: "President Barack Hussein Obama’s older half-brother is
Malik Obama. Malik is the child of Obama’s father Barack Obama Sr and his first
wife Kezia. He was born and raised in Kenya, where he received a degree in
accounting at the University of Nairobi.* In addition to illegally operating the
non-profit organization, Barack H. Obama Foundation, Malik Obama currently works
as the Executive Secretary of the Islamic Da’wa Organization (IDO). The US State
Department considers the government of Sudan to be a terrorist organization and
it just so happens that the IDO was created by that same Sudanese government."
-- Somehow, the IRS, DOJ, and the NSA all missed this before granting Malik
Obomber with a 501 (c) 3 status for his "Barack Obama Foundation. Can't wait to
see the 990 forms for this... unless, UNLESS the IRS can't find the
receipts.

Online story: A (New Hampshire store clerk) woman refused to let a
man use his EBT card to buy cigarettes, and was fired. She felt surely the state
wouldn't allow tax dollars to purchase cigarettes, but she was wrong! The state
does allow it, and that is what is wrong!

L-E story: "Mayor Teresa Tomlinson raised
the specter of “massive layoffs” of city workers next year
if the Columbus Consolidated Government continues on its current path and
accused public safety department heads Tuesday of using the threat of layoffs to
“maintain possibly inflated budgets.” * Tomlinson also announced plans to hold monthly
council work sessions starting in July to go over public safety department
budgets “line by line” to see if there are places other than personnel to trim
“fluff.” * During recent budget review
hearings, police Chief Ricky Boren said cutting the 1.5 percent Tomlinson wanted
from his budget (and all other city budgets) would likely cost him 20 police
officer positions. Fire and
EMS Chief Jeff Meyer said cuts would cost him 14 positions, and Sheriff John
Darr said 59 deputies could be laid off as a result. * All three received concessions from council, putting
their budgets higher than the mayor’s proposals. * Only Marshal Greg Countryman’s department took the
full 1.5 percent cut." -- Mayor Obamalinson is a work of art. First she works
out a deal with the UPtown Whitewater Project that the raft businesses will pay
a fee of 3% directly to the general coffers that bypasses the Public Safety
LOST, then she puts the screws into the Public Safety departments. Where does
Mayor Obamalinson think she's taking safety in Columbus? Columbus is already in
the bottom 3% of safe cities, and reports this year look like Columbus is headed
further south in these ratings. Ironically, the Marshal's Office quickly adopted
the budget cut proposals because who wouldn't give up 1.5% when this department
could easily be 100% dissolved, and by taking the 1.5% openly keeps the Mayor
from snooping into then Marshal's budget.

Those 5 that are charged
in the murder of the pastor under the Oglethorpe Bridge... it really bothers me
how this is even going to trial... There might be 'circumstances' to consider
had the victim been the person the 5 killed thought he was, but he wasn't. He
was innocent and trying to help the girl. If there was any remorse for killing
the wrong person, all involved should have taken some sort of plea bargain to do
what ever the courts deemed fair under the circumstances. (Side note: this
doesn't absolve the DA from stupidity of putting Whitaker on the prosecuting
team, and it especially doesn't absolve Whitaker from wasting tax
dollars).

L-E's "Thought for Today": “It is impossible to defeat an
ignorant man in argument.” — William Gibbs McAdoo, U.S. government official
(1863-1941). -- This must have been the only conservative in the Roosevelt
administration.
---
L-E headline: "Agency to list all chimps as endangered " -- Oooops,
my bad.. thought the IRS coming
clean.
---
L-E's "Quotable": “Anytime
you see a turtle up on top of a fence post, you know he had some help.” -
Alex Haley American author (1921-1992)
" -- Maybe, maybe not. It could have been that the turtle called a government
office for help, and is still trying to work through the phone
menu.

L-E headline/story: "More
Americans quit jobs, a sign of confidence * WASHINGTON — More
Americans are quitting their jobs, suggesting many are growing more confident in
the job market. " -- ONLY in Washington, and ONLY in a release by Judas
00-bama's spinmeisters, could one take people quitting their jobs as a positive
economic sign. Truth is, most are quitting lower paying jobs to opt in on the
more lucrative government assistance
programs.

Is Bleep Veep Biden still alive? Has anyone seen, or
