The 'fatal flaw' of liberalism/socialism is that they are elected by the people liberals campaign about not knowing what's best for them.

Online story: "SAN JOSE, Calif. -- House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) drew vocal backlash Saturday for her answers to questions about National Security Agency data surveillance and whistleblower Edward Snowden. * Speaking at a gathering of progressive activists at NetRoots Nation, Pelosi weighed in on recent controversy over domestic spying, claiming it was unfair to label this President George W. Bush's "fourth term." -- W's "fourth term"? Don't you love it when libs eat their own?

---

Online story: "Thousands participated in a Detroit march commemorating the 50th anniversary of one that Martin Luther King Jr. led in 1963." -- Sadly, they are stuck in 1963 when they should have been celebrating the victories that King began.

Where has common courtesy, common decency gone? Being child free for the evening, my bride and I ventured out to eat last night at a popular restaurant, and as we were waiting for our order, another couple was seated across from us. They were on a date, probably a first one from bits of conversation that floated our way, but the guy seemed oblivious to his choice of clothing. He had on a graphics T-shirt with a kitten on it, and the top two words on it read, "f@ck yeah". If it had been my restaurant, I'd have sent him packing, but why would a date even be seen with him. Political correctness is ruining the pleasantries of life.

In lieu of the NSA scandal of it intercepting our e-mail and cellphone calls, you'd think Samsung would abandon its ad campaign for S3 & S4 phones that know when you are looking at it or not. Hey, if the phone knows you're not looking at it, then it ovbviously is looking at what you are doing.

---

Hmmmm, maybe there is one positive aspect of the NSA intrusiveness... We can file, under the Freedom of Information Act, to learn exactly where our children (and their cellphones) have been.

Online headline/story: "Hagel Asks Indian Professor if He’s Member of the Taliban * The Pentagon issued a statement stating, “Absolutely no slight toward any individual in the audience was intended. That’s the last thing the Secretary would do under any circumstance, in this or any other setting. He didn’t know who would be called next to pose a question.” * That last sentence is belied by the fact that Hagel appeared to call on the man, Robin A. Gandhi, himself." -- Wow! Hagel will make a great Bleep Veep choice for Biden in 2016! ---
Still thinking about the USGA taking action against "anchored" putters. You know, golf would be better served if the USGA spent as much energy on monitoring golf balls.

Thought I'd seen most things in life, but today I saw something for the first time as we walked through the Market Days downtown. There was a vendor shilling doggie acupuncture. Wonder if they do that for porcupines as well?
---
How disheartening... Drove into the "public parking" garage Friday at the Citizen Service Center, and had to drive by a 100 or so empty parking spaces marked "Reserved" before finding one I could park free of being ticketed. Adding insult to injury was that a City truck using the first non-reserved space!

A DUMBERat Senator suggests suing the FBI for posting pictures of 16 terrorist on the sides of buses. The lawyers of this country has put the future of this country in limbo, and we need the U.S. Supreme Court to make an all inclusive decision that "political correctness" is unconstitutional!

---

Senator McDermott, D-Washington State, is outraged that the FBI is putting Wanted pictures of 16 Muslim Terrorists on the sides of buses. Says it's racism or some nonsense like that. If Senator McDermott's name sounds familiar, he was featured in earlier BC's this month defending the IRS terrorizing conservative organization seeking tax-exempt status. Maybe he should put IRS agents' picture on the sides of buses.

A three year old has heard the words of his dad for the first time. A 10 year old girl got the lung transplant she needed. This is medicine at it's finest.

---

Columbia University has ex-cons and terrorists as professors. A CCNY student center is named for a domestic terrorist whose bombs killed civilian Americans. He's living in Cuba today. Why would parents who can afford those universities send their children to learn? Oh, both professors were members of the Weathermen.

A second animal cage cleaner has been mauled by a tiger. This one lived because quick thinking employee turned a water hose in the tiger. Hmmm, I'd hate to go back in that cage knowing my fellow worker thought that reaching for a water hose was better than reaching for an elephant gun.

Online story: "The Internal Revenue Service sent 23,994 tax refunds worth a combined $46,378,040 to “unauthorized” alien workers who all used the same address in Atlanta, Ga., in 2011, according to the Treasury Inspector General for Tax Administration (TIGTA)." -- What's this push for immigration reform so illegal alien will get on the tax rolls? Abuses like the above already happen, but the reality is that since most illegal aliens will fall into the lower income levels, not only will they get back any tax withholdings already paid, they will also get income credits so they will get more in refunds than they actually paid in.

Gators... Gators in the Chattahoochee? Sounds like there will soon be a new You Tube of gators waiting at the end of 'cut bait' trolling for rafters.

---

L-E story: "Nate Sanderson, president of the Columbus branch of the NAACP, said he will hold community forums to address some local issues two days before the convention. Some elected state officials want to talk about the expungement law that goes into effect July 1. * "It will be very crucial to the black community because we have a lot of people who don't understand that they can come and get their record expunged and they can restore their voting rights," he said." -- The last thing the black community of Columbus, no, the community as a whole, needs is for convicted felons to be put back on the voting list. Just because they have 'paid their debt to society' doesn't mean they should be able to vote for more societal debt.

L-E pic:

Signs, signs, every where a sign.... somehow, erecting a sign in the confines of the Chattahoochee doesn't seem like it's a part of the restoration of the river...
